of season two look who knew all we needed was a 
lot less boba fett and less tattooing to get an  
absolute banger episode who knew not me not me

cantina splicer guys very very excited about this 
episode um let’s just real quick gut reaction  
justin go first gut reaction to this 
episode uh immediate hype like it was  
screaming excitement it was amazing and it was 
lol funny that boba fett was not even in it at all  
yeah jordan what about you uh this was 
the best trailer since spider-man 3. um
um no loved it um i i i was blown away and 
i was completely surprised by it and uh  
yeah great episode need more uh justin oh actually 
my gut reaction uh reaction episode uh dude i  
literally teared up in this episode twice um i 
love that we got the uh the ahsoka treatment just  
instantly you know amanda was there uh i’m a huge 
dinjarin fan um i would have liked to have seen  
boba there with finnick that that is 
my one critique but we’ll get to that  
um my favorite moment and then three getting 
out of giving this episode a nine out of ten  
what are you texting me oh no what are you 
texting me who me i’m not texting you anything  
and um my favorite moment of the episode 
was the firing up of the starship like  
the actual like rumbling of the engine 
justin did you have a favorite moment  
i think when he sliced his own leg open with the 
dark saber was probably like the most unexpected  
and hilarious moment like not necessarily 
hilarious but like oh my god this is exactly  
what i wanted is somebody who has no idea how to 
wield it still full sending wielding the darksaber  
didn’t realize even how dangerous it actually 
is like shows you how skilled the jedi has to  
be to wield a weapon like that like everything 
about it that fight scene was just awesome  
jordan uh the early parts of the episode were 
probably my favorite just because it felt like  
mandalorian again uh the mandalorian just the 
feel and being back to it it just got me really  
hyped for the rest of the episode and both of you 
justin what out of 10 would you give this episode  
man i give this a 9 out of 10. the only reason 
i’ll take the one point away is because it  
literally had nothing to do with the book of boba 
fett so because that is what this episode is for  
this series this book of boba fett that’s the 
only blemish on it and i personally i can see  
why some people are throwing some shade on 
it saying this is just a filler episode as  
amazing as it was they’ll heartedly disagree but 
i disagree but i see their logic yes it was a  
filler for a book of boba fett’s plot that’s 
why i’ll dock it one single one single point  
what about you jordan exact same nine nine out of 
ten and it’s it’s literally because now i don’t  
care about boba fett i just want nando’s nando 
season three that’s it it literally ends right now  
yeah it could end right now yeah i don’t care well 
yeah that would be it just roll credits uh bryce  
dallas howard directing this episode but before

of course talking about the continuation of 
mandalorian season two no i’m just kidding  
this is episode five of book of boba fett what an 
absolute banger you can obviously tell that’s what  
it is based on how much he was in it and yeah 
such an integral role that he played you know  
there is one thing that i like about my drinks 
though and the casual kid can attest to them  
i can drink them warm or i can drink them 
cold we’re gonna go to the cantina right now  
exactly i knew you’d get it welcome to hong kong’s 
cantina what are you having shout outs to tomorrow
but remember no droids this week guys i’ve 
broken out the game of thrones collection again  
we got a notch tonight um i am thinking house 
baratheon uh this is a highland scotch it is a  
aged 12 year um this one’s okay it’s very muted 
in flavor um it’s not peady and it’s also not  
i don’t know how to describe it it’s very very 
muted that’s the best way to describe it um  
five out of ten not my favorite um and what’s 
good about this one is this is in the more  
lower end like the uh the price range for compared 
to all the other game of thrones scotches um but  
even as somebody that doesn’t like pete this is 
almost not distinguishable as a scotch um really  
on the nose that smells scotchy but on the front 
mid and back and actually drinking it it is not  
it is not scotchy but that is what that is what 
i am drinking uh justin what are you drinking  
i am drinking this was supposed to be the 
whole bottle for the show but two of my lesser  
lesser good friends came over to my 
house and drank almost this entire bottle  
two of you guys might it might look 
familiar to you it’s a oh no my bad  
i drink a good amount of that man my maker’s mark 
uh five-star liquor barrel pick um ows maker’s  
mark does a cool thing with their barrel picks 
if you have never had one they give you a stave  
profile across the label and if you don’t know 
what a stave is a stave is the individual slat  
that makes up your barrel so what they do is they 
will piece together different they’ll disassemble  
barrels and then piece them together and tell 
you exactly how many staves of each type that  
they used for instance this one is two from 
the baked american pure to from seared french  
qv three from a maker’s mark 46. three from a 
roasted french mocha and zero from a toasted  
french spice but basically you can kind of get 
an idea of the flavor profile that’ll pick it up  
based off of the staves that they use um this one 
came out at 211.7 proof and it was bottled in june  
of 2021 and the thing that i really like about 
this it has drastically changed in the profile of  
its flavor from first cracking it open to letting 
it be open and breathe it was a little harsh at  
first it was a little sharp but once this has been 
opened it it’s super smooth it’s got a nice uh  
i almost want to say caramel not cinnamon but a 
little bit of a caramel spice flavor to it almost  
almost like almost like a i really did enjoy that 
one almost ginger ginger like yeah ginger is a  
good word yeah ginger yep it’s delicious i mean 
if you ever get a chance to find a a barrel pick  
definitely grab it and save the bottle so you can 
keep that uh stave profile so you can find if you  
the more you try you’ll kind of pick up on the 
ones that you like the little notes of yeah nice  
the casual kid aka oh oh mando score mando oh yeah 
yeah yeah i give this a uh uh eight out of ten  
nice compare gotcha for the bourbons i’ve had 
it’s it’s delicious it’s unique there’s a there’s  
some the fun to it with the the collecting and 
everything it’s not necessarily the best one that  
i’ve had but it’s a it’s a it’s a cool way that 
you can actually know what you’re drinking yeah  
what about you the casual kid this is uh i’m going 
through all the uh the old beer that i’ve had in  
a pantry and we put in the fridge we’re trying to 
get through it uh this is the last can i have so  
you know it’s good yeah so you know it’s good it’s 
the grumpy old men brewing the uh hells hauler  
oh yeah dude i finally killed all of my grumpy 
old men and i’m really upset about it we gotta  
go yeah we gotta go back just it was so good this 
is the last one uh it’s a it’s a 7.2 uh beer it’s  
nice it’s caramelly it’s uh smooth oh it’s so nice 
um grumpy old mint makes a lot of really good beer  
where’s the big deal old men from where’s that 
blue ribbon yeah very very good beers very good  
beers um this one i i would think is a little 
bit more of their average blue ridge mexico i’m  
assuming uh absolutely yes yeah god dang it tell 
me where it’s from blue ridge georgia rich george
yeah so anyway yeah blue ridge georgia um they 
got a couple of breweries there this is one of  
the best breweries there um and uh yeah i’m gonna 
give it a six it’s it’s not the best porter you’re  
ever gonna have but it’s it’s solid and it’s 
what’s your good what was your your favorite beer  
from that specific brewery since you guys both 
liked it what was that the cocoa blonde the cocoa
i let you try that i gave you 
a six-pack of justin it was the  
uh it was the the white no yeah yeah that 
was yes very it was like a cream ale mixed  
with white chocolate oh dude that one how many 
how how much did i come home with jordan like  
48 cans yeah i bought like a small palette 
like yeah like i was walking to the car  
like with and jordan’s like what are you doing 
and i was like this is too good i gotta i gotta  
bring it home you got your uh yeti cart the 
yeti car that you built was just carrying beer  
i brought both my yeti coolers the big one was 
for beer the small one was for the food yeah  
guys i’m so excited to talk about this episode 
uh for everybody listening everybody watching  
i’m letting you know i went into great detail 
on this recap so if it’s a little bit longer i  
do apologize i very much loved this episode and it 
was really good i got a lot of quotes in there and  
even though people were talking that this was 
some filler there are two very profound canon  
explanations three which is kind of the third 
one’s kind of a funny one but two very profound  
canon explanations that are very important yes 
wizard to do star wars and to the mandalorian  
and you know once again we’re making 
the joke that this is continuation of  
you know mandalorian season uh uh two epis 
you know chapter 17 but let’s get into it  
claytonians work in a butcher shop mandel 
walks through the door as i said earlier  
we 100 we get the ahsoka treatment they do not 
keep it from us mando immediately is on screen  
searching for his bounty mando finds 
him kebaba bias i can bring you in warm  
or i can bring you in cold now the second you 
said that i was just like oh they’re doing it  
did you guys think that this was redone or 
did they just sound bite it the first time oh  
i think that’s all pedro i think like i think 
that’s 100 him i think that’s just like all  
him it’s his bravado it’s his like i think he can 
like it’s gonna be mando’s tagline as we continue  
i love it every everything about it i freaking 
love it it’s so ominous and cool at the same time  
love it mando ignites his dark saber he 
starts to cut through the henchmen with ease  
mando of course huh how high were you the 
second like no time wasted dude you’re like what  
dude in the way hang on the way that he does it 
too like he’s like hunched over and it’s just like  
like uh dude it was it was safe it was absolutely 
it was especially birds are whistling birds are  
for the or for the birds we got a dark side yeah 
forget we got dark saber now we don’t need that um
we do see a little bit of the dragging and i 
actually uh the clip yes is gonna be played in  
the beginning of this episode uh you’re gonna 
hear a little bit of the explanation between  
um kanan and sabine which we’ll get into more 
that explanation later but there’s there’s so  
much to the dark saber that that we learn um 
especially if you’re not caught up with uh rebels  
we get the explanation of more 
the dark saber later but do it  
watch it as you mentioned by being a cartoon dear 
god yes literally if if you can’t get past it  
start in season two we’ve said it before rebels 
is key star wars material it’s very very good  
uh justin your favorite scene then ensues 
mando slices his own thigh with the dark saber  
slicing how i imagined myself if i ever 
had one like you think you’re gonna be  
super like fluent and like obi annie spin 
crazy and you’re just like yeah just like my  
arm off goes the arm yeah like whenever you’re 
playing with the kids with a stick and like  
you’re like oh you you’re you’re not attacking 
me you just cut your own arm off you’re like no  
dude it was it was totally uh he started acting 
like sloth again fighting like sloth with them  
oh my gosh stop one by one he slices through 
the henchman through the dog yes after taking  
out his vibro knife and putting his bounty on the 
table he cuts him straight in half did you guys  
sense let’s go disney let’s go did you did you 
sense how angry din was in this whole scene  
like we we see throughout the episode him being 
reminded of grogu back and forth back and forth  
like this yeah like this this dad pain and 
i think that it’s so obvious that him just  
cutting through him and then removing his 
head you know it’s like because the first  
time we get the i can bring you in warm 
i can bring you in cold we get brought in  
alive and now we get it again and we and 
we get cold i don’t know it was technically  
the first time was cold because he was carbonite 
frozen i was gonna say it but i was gonna say it
what is mando after is it 
money is it more bounties  
no of course as we’ve seen in mandalorian season 
one and two it it seems to always be information  
seeking the newest location of the mando’s we 
first encountered on navarro shout outs to the  
space station that mando was on complete 
halo ring yeah he was playing on halo yeah
but we can’t do the halo champ well i didn’t 
know if you’re going halo 1 halo 2 or halo 3.  
what are you talking about they’re not 
the same they change them in between  
dude the whole space station that he was on was 
it was amazing i want to know the name of it  
it was everything we wanted in star wars it was 
literally everything this needs to be the star  
wars star cruiser not some stupid [ __ ] my god 
give me this ring that we’re on disney has enough  
money to make that right yeah what if it is what 
if disney did like out of your window like an  
augmented reality like you could see what was down 
there but you also saw like an augmented reality  
loop of a ring going out oh my god billion dollars 
i did 100 i absolutely loved the just the place  
that he was on it felt so star wars like it wasn’t 
coruscant it was somewhere new thank god it wasn’t  
covered in sand and it wasn’t tatooine like and 
it didn’t look like freaking deep space nine  
like that’s the one thing like we’ve talked about 
space stations so much i was like don’t turn star  
wars into star trek it’s got its own place i’m 
not going to go ragging on star trek but i like  
i don’t want to see star wars look like god dang 
deep space nine when you show me a space station  
finally besides the death star like an actual 
space station this was freaking amazing yeah  
back to the recap limping through the city streets 
mando gets what he is after not only does he claim  
his reward he reclaims his information the 
closest access point to the substrata finally  
mando reaches a door marked with the famous 
mythosaur marking the location of another covert  
the armor sits another we well we didn’t 
know at that point right yeah we didn’t know  
yeah because i thought it was going to be a new 
cover it’s what you would like you were begging to  
see a new covert and i thought i was like dang it 
he called it and i i still i wasn’t disappointed  
um so some of the things that i call uh when when 
do we want to get into the razor crest argument  
we want to just get that we’ll get into that 
okay i will okay dismantle you okay no you won’t
i was really hoping for more armando’s 
right because obviously mando is a good  
amount of muscle right but right 
i was hoping for a reconnection  
and i think the most that i was shocked 
about was that it was just paz and the armor  
like when we saw all the exact 
same two yeah the exact same two in
how many there were when they were escaping off 
in navarro yes i’m sorry no no no you’re right  
navarro no navarro because in season one when they 
go into the covert after ig opens up the you know  
the bar into the the sewers we see all the piles 
of the armor and the armor says you know some have  
left you know some died fighting the empire and 
then you know the other we didn’t know how many  
they were so when when mando comes back pat says 
now there are three you know it’s just them three  
which i was super shocked by that i expected a 
couple of more yeah we also learned from beau  
in mandalore in season two that there’s just 
them but they were a super offshoot covert to  
begin with they were like the extremists of the 
extremists which is one of the reasons why they  
did survive which we’ll learn later yes so there’s 
already a limited group of them yeah i just i not  
that i didn’t love the armor and pass because i 
think paz vizsla voiced by john bro super awesome  
played by the same big dude that the truth the 
guy in the very first episode of mandalorian super  
cool to see actually played by john do you think 
it’s actually played by john or just voiced by him  
no no it’s just my job no no the guy in the suit 
is the guy that goes the uh mando the guy that he  
spills his drink that’s him in the suit oh okay 
okay yeah yeah that big dude that’s him in the  
suit but it’s it’s john that does the voice does 
the voice over um i just i loved seeing both of  
them again i it just would have been another layer 
to have a new covert right like yeah you know  
another like each each covert has its armor right 
it’s tribal leader whatever because in this show  
that could have been a cool tie-in is we have 
a tribe leader of the mandalorians right and  
that tribe leader could have been the armor 
for all the coverts of of the mandalorians  
yeah i mean but also at the same time give us 
our props where our props are due we did the  
due diligence in season one that we found the name 
and we were like oh my god he’s a freaking vizsla  
and we knew like we knew immediately in 
season one that i was like this dude is  
connected to tara vizsla this dude is connected 
to everybody like there is so much history that  
for the fact that they just named him that we knew 
it was going to come up and it took two seasons  
and a whole nother show for it to come around 
but a lot of people missed that tiny detail yeah  
back to the recap mando sees the armor sitting 
upon what seems to be vast space once again in  
the stratosphere of the space station 
paz vizsla gives first aid to denjarin  
quote what is the weapon that caused the wound 
paz vizsla brings the darksaber to the armor  
quote what do you know of this blade den replies 
whoever wields it can rule mandalore the armor  
then explains the blessings and the curse of the 
darksaber quote one warrior will defeat 20 and  
a multitudes will fall before it if however it is 
not one in combat and falls into the hands of the  
unwielding it will bring a curse upon the nation 
mandalore will be laid to waste and its people  
will be scattered into the four winds in quote 
straight up bla blames bogotan for everything 100  
yeah and and we’ll get into him bringing 
up bo it hasn’t happened just yet  
but that’s a theme that we have in star 
wars right an overarching theme is prophecy  
and yet again we have an ancient race people which 
is the mandalorians who have a prophecy and it all  
revolves around this dark saver obviously 
foreshadowing the explanation as this and  
this is one of the things that that i brought up 
earlier this is a huge contention that people had  
with the season finale of mandalorian season 
two why can’t bow just take it you know
she took it no yeah yeah she took it from yeah 
she literally now we know she cursed the people  
and led to the night of a thousand tears at least 
to this sect i will say that is only to this sect  
but that is like i think it’s an overarching thing 
for the mandalorian they’re just a little a little  
more invested into the technicalities 
and the doctrine that they believe in
back to the recap tar vizla the mandalorian 
jedi forged this saber over a thousand years ago  
mando rejoins his old people this is the way give 
us give us a book yeah i agree look ontario i  
agree i agree mando explains to to paz vizilla 
how he got the dark saber quote the blood of  
millions of our kind is on his hands end quote 
which was in the reference to mafian the spear  
was a gift from a jedi quote this is a threat to 
all mandalorians it can pierce bhaskar armor end  
quote what did you think about that i was gonna 
say i was waiting for a break i really liked  
slash was a little cringe on how devoted 
den still is to their covert after 100 agree  
after meeting the other mandalorians after 
like the rule with you leave your helmet on  
after them explaining how these guys are almost 
like a cult fanatical version of mandalorians  
it was a little like cool and i appreciated it but 
it was like a little like ah don’t give it up like  
yeah i like especially especially after i didn’t 
mind it until they exiled him when they exiled  
him i fully expected him to take off his helmet on 
the on the space bus right because my dude doesn’t  
have a ship yet but i will say it is very clear 
that den is still defeating he had a purpose too  
he has a purpose and and as as as casual kid said 
before you get into this jordan because i want i i  
know you have something to say this is the trailer 
to mandalorian season three so it is very clear  
that we are going to now go to mandalore 
so that he can go to the baths in the mines  
to regain you know what were you going to say 
jordan well no it’s just seeing it from another  
perspective you know once den gave up grogu he had 
nothing left there was nothing left for him he he  
fulfilled his mission which was you know what he 
meant to do what did he have good to go back to  
just as covert hunting and so on yeah right and 
so without having that father kind of relationship  
left he went back to what he knew which was 
hunting and a covert so it i didn’t like  
that he was still devoted but at the same time i 
i can understand it you know you just fall back  
into old patterns the only saving grace with 
it is when he gave it up he knew what exactly  
he was giving it up for it was not for himself 
it was not for the covert it was for foundling  
and it was for grogu like that is a great i think 
i think you think i think i know what he made you  
think you know what what they made like yep i’ve 
got i got a i got a note in here back to the recap  
great segue justin mando then gives up his spear 
to help foundlings but in return he asks for  
something and that is a gift for grogu quote have 
you ever heard of bo katan crees end quote because  
she has lost her way we lost our world said the 
armor now in the i’m still going to get to it but  
with the thing for grogu i will say i do 
think that we see the armor in paz again not  
necessarily in book of boba fett necessarily 
let’s be honest there was no reason to call  
this book of boba fett absolutely not because 
we have more din than we do boba and even at  
this point i think that it’s clear that all 
these story lines are intertwining which i like  
the book of boba fett is a like uh what oh my 
god what’s what’s the word one in a novel not  
a isn’t it not an interesting interlude yeah is 
it like where like in the middle of the chapters  
they break into like this weird little tiny side 
story that’s also happening that by the end of the  
by the end of the novel like all these strings 
gonna come tied together booty boom if that is  
almost that to the mandalorian is what this 
feels like yeah i agree back to the recap  
quote once again this is in reference 
to losing the world of mandalore  
if we would have not been on concordia we would 
have also been lost so this is a huge deal  
this is a reference to concord which is concord 
don which is the the guy that brought jango fett  
in that’s the whole story where jango fett was 
also a foundling and we got confirmation of that  
in mandalorian season two the writing here whoever 
whoever is specifically getting all these details  
correct i know who this is this is only one 
guy this is one guy this is our boy dave dude  
these these points are are hitting we’re firing 
on all cylinders in reference 100 to the in one  
starfighter that we’re gonna get to later but 
seriously like all of these little strings  
are are coming together um and i still hope 
that we get some sort of a tie to django like  
more django like i know boba is django but django 
specifically in connection to concord dawn and the  
moon which is death watch we also django before 
the cloning process like exactly django is what  
we need some yeah exactly continuing with the 
recap we then see the night of a thousand tears  
possibly the one thing that we have been asking 
to see for two plus years justin i’m letting you  
take this one take it teased so long ago like i i 
have never been teased and immediately fascinated  
by something because it was such a massive thing 
for new star wars lore when gideon dropped that  
line where he is den is sitting there behind the 
wall how do you know he’s dead he knows my name  
the night of a thousand tears and i was like 
i mean like what yes like this is new this is  
obviously massive and then they did not touch it 
they did not touch it even with a 10-foot pole  
for all of season two and i was like clamoring to 
know what this was as are i’m sure tons of people  
i loved it i loved we got the perfect scene 
showing it we got classic tie bombers we got  
very varied terminator vibes with the yes 
with everything being destroyed and then the  
the imperial droids coming through and just 
making sure everything everyone’s gone oh  
my god all the k2sos yeah yeah that was so 
freaking awesome i would have enjoyed i one  
for starters absolutely loved it we got somehow 
a a very short 20-second explanation but it was  
all that we needed it was almost chef’s kiss 
if you will very very simple very very good  
because i complained yeah because in my head i 
had the the idea of a bunch of star destroyers  
just hammering down on the blasting a planet as 
as we’ve seen in other things where they yes but  
this was more this was way more intimate like 
like a million nukes just dropped all over the  
place and like jordan said uh to the recap let me 
read the recap and then i’ll say what i had to say  
imperial bombers skim the surface leaving none 
alive k2 units skim the surface for who yet  
lived so once again we have these k2 
units we got those terminator vibes  
their kx series kx series thank you just like 
literally and it you know what was crazy is i  
i watched this specifically i rewinded it we get 
this one shot of that that that kx series shooting  
the one mando and i wanted to see if his arm 
moved something that showed life to make him shoot  
there’s nothing they’re shooting anyway let’s 
also let’s also give some props to rogue one for  
creating one of the coolest freaking droids my 
favorite droid my groomsman ktso let’s go like  
yeah we need to bring the special segment

you know if you think of den as a whole den  
is a cowboy den is a a side shooter you

remember she says that this is a noble weapon

to the finesse of this weapon that that he’s not  
understanding and and i i just found it it’s 
completely different but i think in a cool  
and good way than previous canon with lightsabers 
because in many instances whenever they would have  
instances where non-force users would get their 
hands on a lightsaber and they would try to wield  
the lightsaber the hardest thing about controlling 
it is its weightlessness not its weight where they  
were they basically had a hilt and then they had 
no sense of where your actual blade was because  
there was there’s no it’s not like a sword where 
like as the the blade is going out there’s weight  
that you can feel as you swing you know you know 
where it is you can sense it with the lightsaber  
it was your hilt and that was it it was just light 
it was a it was a blaster so for this to be like  
he’s basically wielding a like knights templar 
giant broadsword or greatsword that he’s dragging  
across the ground was a complete 180. yeah yeah 
absolutely and it to see him struggle with it  
and even the armor almost taunting him 
in trying to train him to use it properly  
man and that yeah that that was that was great 
she grabbed him by the helmet and pulled them in  
yeah um it is definitely something to see into 
justin’s point i think of force awakens with finn  
using the lightsaber you know against the 
stormtrooper traitor it’s like how how we’re  
using that so easily so yeah that was really cool 
i don’t know if this is what gave you this train  
of thought justin i might be refreshing 
your memory but in the behind-the-scenes  
dvd extras of phantom menace we get the commentary 
of liam neeson explaining the difficulty that he  
had understanding from the choreographer of how to 
use a lightsaber you know liam neeson goes on to  
explain that he’s been in samurai movies he’s been 
in in medieval movies and he’s used great swords  
broadswords big wide strokes big heavy over the 
hand and that was not the purpose of a lightsaber  
you know it was weightless it was fluid it was 
fast it was it was all the things that liam hadn’t  
done until phantom menace and so it is it is cool 
to see this continuity that sabine had such a  
problem handling the saber and fighting kanan and 
when kanan finally gave the insight and it’s funny  
because the armor i didn’t write this quote down 
and i wanted to but basically she was like what’s  
the definition of insanity is doing the same thing 
over and over again and expecting different yeah  
results exactly and that is exactly what she said 
to him is he wanted to keep dueling and she’s like  
you don’t understand the blade there’s no 
point and it was awesome because sabine  
and den’s issues with the darksaber were because 
of their personality and their psyche and how  
they couldn’t wrap their head around wielding 
it it wasn’t like it’s a physical thing it’s  
their own personal mental connection to wielding 
that dark saber for sabine it was never like she  
could barely lift it and it was so physically 
wearing on her like he was lifting a freaking  
hilt that had 20 cinder blocks 
on it it was like she just  
couldn’t use it very well whereas den like 
it that’s not his bag at all and he like was  
that’s not my bag baby exactly i was waiting 
for somebody to do the awesome show like it’s  
cool like it’s 100 on their their connection with 
it and a non-force user has completely different  
connection issues trying to wield a weapon built 
for a jedi due to time i do need to get through  
some of this recap gentlemen um but seriously the 
intimacies of this episode i could talk about this  
episode forever like yeah this this literally 
might be one of the best mandalorian episodes  
like period yeah like that we see of din 
like this is this is one of the best um
paz approaches a challenge is issued to din din 
accepts the challenge both mandalorians remove  
their jet packs paz then energizes his shield on 
his left gauntlet and also he wields a vibra blade  
den wields the dark saber i did love seeing 
this in live action first time we’ve seen it  
the the mandalorian circle energy shield we 
also see sabine vibro uh bracers we are you  
know we we’ve we have seen this in clone wars 
and in rebel so it was very cool to see it again  
i did put a little quote in here um after multiple 
hits paz vizsla appears to have the upper hand he  
absolutely wrecks din absolutely rexed in and this 
is some foreshadowing that i really liked and this  
is just more credence to bryce dallas howard 
there’s a specific shot that reminds me that i  
knew that he was going to quote win this duel but 
of you know he ends up not when we first see paz  
walking to din the actual camera shot is down and 
up towards paz and we get the light of the moon  
shining down just to show how big paz is like it’s 
such a cool shot to show his mass of how big of  
a mando you know he’s a heavy trooper like dude 
he’s not he’s not like a little infantry guy no  
he’s a titan the the the the filmography in this 
episode was just it was it was so absolutely great  
and i loved that whenever one of them got the 
dark saber that’s immediately when they started  
losing because they don’t know how to use it yep 
both of these were kicked yeah go ahead go ahead  
go ahead reaching for the dark saber that he has 
knocked out of den’s hands he swings and he swings  
mando then slides pulls out his own vibro 
blade and ganks the hammies he just uh
absolutely gone paz has been defeated quote 
den jaren have you removed your helmet again
have you removed your helmet den says i have 
quote then you are a mandalorian no more  
seeking atonement according to the cree one may 
redeem themselves by bathing in the waters of  
the mines under mandalore as we talked about 
earlier i think this is clearly where season  
three of mandalore is going to go it’s clear that 
he still has this that’s the quest when he doesn’t  
have grogo my question is is who who is the 
armor to him if he believes in the creed so much  
and he has the dark saber why isn’t he seeking 
other mandalorians to reunite him is that not him  
is he going to be known as the covert is who saved 
him and made him a foundling and brought him in  
because he’s not by blood a mandalorian 
this is his family this yeah this this  
is where he believes he belongs right now yeah 
that’s not what he was born into like bo katan  
so it’s like bo katana has her viewpoint as an 
actual blood mandalorian this is literally saved  
his life that he has a vivid memory of and then 
all he knows yeah back to the recap mando gets  
on a space bus because my guy still does not have 
a ship imaginando the star cruiser that we heard  
in the last episode that they landed on tatooine 
like magic this is what it is the exact same yeah  
mando seems a young rodinian he is no doubt 
reminded of grogu then pulling out his gift  
that he has made for grogu with the help of the 
armor we see that we see the obvious resemblance

a manufactured razor crest not the name of the  
ship but an actual manufactured version of the 
gun ship did you ever think that we’d see him in  
a star fight so i did not and this is honestly my 
prediction i think that this i think this is going  
to be a thunder and paradise situation thunder

say mine because i have one so specifically 
you went somewhere that i didn’t think you  
were going tell me if you’ve never watched the 
amazing hulk hogan show of thunder in paradise  
he has the most amazing scarab like speed boat

from underneath like a submarine and jettison out 
this amazing jet ski that’s like a stealth jet ski  
i think this n1 is going to be like almost 
like on the uh on the ghost for for hera  
so he’s going to get a bigger 
ship and he’s going to keep the n1  
because i feel like he has to have something 
for transporting and getting bounties and his  
arsenal and everything else included he does have 
the droid pocket which i’m sure we’ll talk about  
i’m gonna i’m gonna talk about that now so here 
here’s my hot take she clears out the droid pocket  
hollows it out tell me that that is not the 
perfect area for grogu to look out yes exactly oh  
yeah my hot take is i do think that mandalorian 
season 3 will lead into him getting grogu back

full-sized person can fit in there but

crest back and it’s going to be the the fanfare  
of having it back and being like yeah i do truly

it has nothing to do with book of boba fett i have

mando flying back and he’s helping boba and then 
season three of the mandalorian picks up from him  
leaving at this exact moment and seeing grosgu or 
do you think we are going to derail book of boba  
and show things with mando luke skywalker grogu 
and completely abandoned book of boba fett’s  
story and just come in and uh like at the end on 
the final episode go go first jordan if you have  
an answer to that because my i i’ve i literally 
wrote i like literally wrote this out so okay  
um to answer that i think if if if i’m going to 
go by how they’re doing book of boba fett i think  
the next episode is not going to have 
dinner back to flashback yeah i i honestly  
well he’s the only thing in the future

them going to be preparing for things maybe 
getting one more person in there maybe um  
the sheriff uh to join in yes sheriff of

man we will get mando seeing grogu he sees grogu 
he sees that he is safe with luke he trusts luke  
he trusts luke because he’s trust ahsoka and 
he sees luke as a capable jedi that jedi luke  
saved him on maf gideon’s cruiser he gives him 
his gift he goes back to boba the last episode  
is them preparing for war and that is how the 
book of boba fett ends we do not actually see the  
actual pike crime syndicate war mandalorian or 
the man the yeah the mando season 3 starts with  
either the beginning or the end of that war that 
then leads them to mandalore because like if if if  
the pike war and the syndicate war ends with boba 
beating back the pikes the part of the mountains
like with going along with what you’re saying 
if this raps in one or two episodes not gonna  
feel good yeah not gonna feel good and and and 
i’m not opposed to a cliffhanger because we have  
obi-wan which is coming out on may the fourth 
by the way just throwing that out there  
we have that on the horizon we also have andor 
like i’m i’m completely fine with this show that  
look i’m usually really positive but 
i’m gonna be honest don’t care about  
ending on a cliffhanger if boba’s overarching 
theme is fighting the pikes sure oh my god i

mandalorian season one and season two and the book  
of boba fett and the characters introduced what if 
there’s a whole new show that’s the mandalorians
the mandalorians these two shows then are 
combined into one and it’s not about den

and what he does after he leaves han and

what if we get another show the tales of a 
jedi are the tales of the jedi and it’s luke  
creating his new jedi gentile academy 
grogu is there mind you backtrack to  
my train of thought of grogoo bean in the 
in one starfighter if grogu isn’t working  
out for whatever reason he has too many 
attachments he cannot be trained literally  
ahsoka has already said canonly he cannot be 
trained oh i got hiccups mando takes grogu  
that explains why he’s not at the jedi temple 
when ben turns yeah i said we we you know anyway
i’m down for it i i really i like the idea 
of these the two seasons of the mandalorian  
and this very weird spin-off of the book of 
boba fett actually like building to something  
new a lot more than the book of boba fett 
season two i’ll be completely honest and he’s  
been my favorite character since i was seven years 
old yeah because this show has just disappointed  
me for the character that i’ve loved but if it was 
building to something like like they’re like all  
little individual stepping stones that would be an 
awesome saving grace yeah yeah it’s just it’s hard  
to see it with the current sample size that we 
have we can’t so we can’t wrap the pike syndicate  
in a giant war against boba fett who has literally 
nobody except one guy he’s going to hire they come
they are a syndicate they’re not a gang even come 
from a whole planet like there are millions of  
them boba wipes everybody on tatooine does 
nothing to them as a whole yeah exactly  
exactly but well guys this has been a great 
upward turn call it a filler call it what you  
want this has been a great upward turn i’m super 
excited to know what our callers are going to say  
yeah call call it what you want 
i mean i think that they’re  
look i’m going to be selfish okay i think mando 
is way cooler than boba always has been always  
will be and yeah it’s hindsight though sure 
whatever that doesn’t make it any less true  
he’s cooler than boba like this is the bubble we 
have and guess what he is better i compare yeah
because he created he is the mandalorian the very 
o.g the start of everything and i don’t i don’t  
mean it negatively i’m this is what we have this 
is what we’re presented with definitely wherever
wherever we go with this i 100 want to see din 
boba together i don’t mind seeing them together  
but boba in my opinion in the writing of the show 
has proved that bobak did not function on his own  
that’s just my opinion if you don’t 
agree perfectly fine explain to me  
why that’s wrong i get you know i 
would love to get why you’re saying  
but currently i this is the most hype i have 
been since mandalorian season two the show  
in my opinion i enjoyed watching it but it 
is not delivered that’s all i have to say  
kind of going along with what we said last 
week like we have to erase everything we  
knew about fat fett was a badass in the eu that’s 
all wiped clean now the only cannon fat we have  
is standing next to darth vader standing while 
he be why han is frozen and then just getting  
yeted by luke into the side of a sand barge and 
falling into a pit and he screams like a girl  
matches what we’ve seen from this yeah yeah 
i’m still waiting to see the boba that we saw  
were reintroduced to in mandalorian season two 
that’s the boba i’m waiting to see again yeah
well guys yep i think it is 
a perfect time to go into our

because the episode was just so hype

what are you talking about uh number four for the 
dare so next week so justin is going to have to do

your ability yeah it’s gonna be a doozy and then 
next week hopefully you will have enough to report

and as i you know i’m gonna i told matt the same  
thing i’m gonna have a pack of saltine crackers on

a freaking great episode and it’s the perfect time

hello this is glenn osborne and uh i’d like to 
give my take on episode five i have to say it  
rated a zero on the rancor meter no raincourse at 
all terrible however my prediction is that we’re  
going to have a mythosaur rider before the end of 
the end of uh next season of mandalore at least  
maybe uh maybe before the end of this series and 
uh well we got to see uh the army our favorite guy  
oh well even though he’s not a wrinkle 
rider he’s still pretty awesome  
dendrin marmando love it i got to see a ring 
world or halo at first i thought it was a round  
of sun but you know almost a dyson sphere 
level halo but it’s uh it was just around  
the satellite which is actually a pretty 
awesome ship ship for a star wars satellite
and we got to see then he was uh wearing his arms 
out pretty much fighting that gyroscopic effect  
with the dark saber which sort of strange since 
the dark saber of all lightsabers seems to really  
have a pronounced front and back should be easy to 
follow that plane of movement like we had talked  
about the audio that you hear in the beginning 
of this episode it’s you know sabine and uh kanan  
explaining to her and once again somebody 
on twitter i can’t actually it was uh it was  
probably steve from this is the way podcast he he 
commented same thing everyone’s like why did moff  
gideon have such an easy time wielding it like 
who trained him you know all this not in the third  
i just think that you know moff gideon was so 
focused on what he was doing right he had a  
mission he had a goal he was he knew exactly 
what he needed to do and that’s what gives  
him the ease of you know using this darksaber it 
wasn’t his mind isn’t clouded and distracted like  
you know dan jordan is for sure right now yeah he 
doesn’t know who he is he doesn’t know where grogu  
is he’s obviously obsessing about seeing him again 
yeah he’s a hot mess and yeah it did seem like it  
was getting heavy so sorry i wonder if it’s if 
that pulling down is a new lightsaber physics  
effect that hasn’t popped up in other media well 
i’m not sure if i liked that since we haven’t seen  
we’ve seen other jedi before who are fine just 
swinging the lights around with relative ease  
but i guess we’ll probably learn more about 
that later uh we got to see pelimoto again  
who’s uh apparently not a fan of her which is 
sort of ironic because fern never seemed to  
bother princess i told you that one thing that 
she does that killed me is when she you know  
we’ve seen like the eu explanation of underneath 
their robes they’re all furry and she complains
yeah and when she goes that she 
goes they’re really uh furry  
like she’s spitting yeah spitting their 
hairs out inappropriate disney carolyn before
uh we got the see the naboo in one which 
is pretty awesome but uh doesn’t tell  
you know that then lives on a ship where’s 
mando going to keep all the stuff you know  
you’d made a comment about din having a bigger 
ship eventually i think so yeah and this is going  
to be kind of like the ghost and the phantom but 
den will have his big ship transport freighter  
gunship whatever he ends up getting and then 
kind of this quick fast nimble fighter attached  
as well at least that’s what i hoped i 
think that would be awesome because he can’t  
capture bounties he can’t live on 
his ship he can’t do anything like as  
cool as it is yeah if you have to buy a space 
trader and dock between the bounties like the  
you know like the phantom and the ghost dock 
together uh he’s got to have somewhere to live  
and i knew right away that buzzing a passenger 
liner and pulling a top gun on a little kid didn’t  
seem like the safest thing to do on a spacecraft 
that you just bolted together out of jawa scraps  
but uh fortunately we got the cops to 
protect us and they they pulled him over but  
he went into overdrive and was swooped away and 
that’s probably the fastest ship in star wars  
i’m not sure yeah for sure power actually could be 
that much slower than it but uh with newer engines  
oh i guess they don’t make them like that anymore 
well that’s that’s my whole take on uh episode  
five which was an awesome episode and uh i’m not 
as going to complain about it like other people  
i i think that uh i think it fits into bobblehead

next justin we have darth apollo nice oh and guys 
just so you know we did we got a lot of calls so  
for the length of the episode me and justin 
are trying to not pause as much i know that  
was a bad reflection because literally paused

comments so that we can get through all the calls

so it’s four am wow what an episode uh i’m just 
gonna go and order uh first of all of all the the  
butcher shop the scene i thought that was so cool 
um well i already can’t wait to wake up tomorrow  
and and see all the speech about how a butcher 
shop doesn’t fit into star wars but we’ll just  
ignore that uh i noticed and still had the dark 
saber on him and then instantly he fights with it  
it was amazing i was super psyched to see him uh 
you know meet back up with the armor i instantly  
noticed the heavy look at him dirty about the 
dark saber and there you go right away there’s  
a challenge i think that was dope that he can 
already hold his own and prove that you know he is  
um you know uh worthy of this dark saber uh and 
then you know but uh when he mentioned that he  
took his helmet off and the armorer told him that 
he had to go make events and told him this is the  
way i really was hoping that he would shoot back 
at her like no there is another way because i’ve  
met the other mandalorians they take their 
homeless off they want to take back menswear  
too just like we do and we should work together 
like i thought he was going to start unifying  
we talked about this a little bit uh yesterday 
do you think that it makes sense fermando to  
kind of go back to what he knows you know this 
cult this sect whatever you want to call it  
or contact with like bo katan and the 
mandos that she was with and seeing how  
they’re like you guys are uh extremists 
for lack of better terms like that’s not  
how actual mandalorians live their life that’s 
a weird thing that you guys do and nobody else  
it is kind of weird yeah so so which which one 
fits better for you like i kind of expected him  
to get on the transport ship and then just take 
his helmet off my goodness my pc is going crazy  
yeah i don’t know man i think i think it 
definitely probably stirred a question up for him  
but i kind of i don’t know i don’t 
know where it would have gone i mean  
it’s like you gotta think he’s lived 
his entire life only knowing them  
so it’s probably pretty ingrained deeply into him 
at this point but i don’t really want to see him  
go to mandalore to bathe in the baths though like 
i kind of think the next step in his progression  
he doesn’t have anything to redeem himself 
for he did nothing yeah exactly um you know
just going back to who he was and part of this 
this sect this cult and then bounty hunting again  
that’s not like a full circle well i mean it is 
a full circle for the character but that’s not  
the circle that i’d like to see you know i’d like 
to see him evolve a little bit more yeah i agree  
um and then he checked the dark favor like luggage 
could not believe that then we see a bd1 droid  
i freaked the hell out followed by a royal naboo 
starfighter i instantly thought this is pod racing  
kind of foreshadowed something for myself there 
uh she dated or what she did it or what now um  
but then we got our montage that we talked 
about in the comments in the last video but  
you know for the wrong main characters whatever 
uh bd1 scanned something like in the game  
uh it was around here okay you know how i said 
that i was super super irritated that everyone’s  
like oh that’s bd1 oh that’s bd1 and we’re 
like come on guys it’s just another bd unit  
yeah well do you remember what happens to bd1 
in fallen order he gets his right leg messed up  
remember in this episode re-watching it you 
noticed it it’s there he limps on his right leg  
interesting oh yeah you gotta go back and 
look at it it could just be because that womp  
rat or whatever it was attacked him and it’s 
convenient but why like i know you have a 50  
chance there’s only two legs 
but it’s his right leg and  
ah it was anyway we’ll see we’ll see because 
that would be you know i think we all just want  
cal right yeah for sure you know we can age him 
up yeah we can age him up a little bit you know  
make him make him look older let him grow a beard 
and he’ll immediately look older yeah he’s boba  
then they took an already royally modified [ __ 
] and made it more badass i couldn’t believe it  
i saw the astronaut fit and i thought what 
if game gets an astromech uh i’m surprised  
he’s cool with being so cramped uh if he had 
the westgar spear that would not be possible  
then he did the pod race route and i thought now 
this is pod racing i’ve been wanting pod racing  
for years since the phantom menace and that 
wasn’t it but like oh my god it felt like it  
uh i loved the new republic pilot from mando i 
loved him showing off his thrusters and then of  
course spenach and when he said he was gonna visit 
a little friend it just reminded me of the little  
green friend uh call back so overall amazing 
episode i guess my hot take would be that i  
feel like people are gonna view this as the show 
not being able to stand on his own two feet so  
they had to have a mando episode i still think the 
show is amazing on his own merits but i think they  
i think they should have had more boba in there 
you know just to remind people hey this is his  
show you know what i mean but that’s it otherwise 
i mean i mean but what can i say it was an amazing  
episode like what am i gonna do sit here and 
complain no awesome uh love you guys in the work

paolo i will say i i agree with the boba comment i  
don’t know why it would have been so hard to have 
boba go to the docking bay like not just finnick

mandalorian season three right it already started 
filming i don’t know probably not but that makes  
you wonder because it’s so mandalorian focused

5 here in my work truck as i was taking a break  
and i think this is my favorite episode yet 
um mando is just an absolute beast cutting  
people in half that dark saber kind of 
usually of his mandalorian compadres  
just blowing them off like that thing oh 
you took off his helmet wow big whoop anyway  
um and guessing episode six we’re gonna get to 
see grosgu again can’t wait to see that little guy  
oh maybe even we’ll get to see luke skywalker 
i mean because grover’s with luke so i mean
i think like a 60 chance we’ll see 
luke i think me and you have more  
90 channels yeah 80 to 90. so we know 
this we know and uh what else what what  
happened in this episode uh oh yeah the nebu 
star fighter that was an awesome throwback  
i love it i love it i think it fits him well um 
but yeah that was pretty much it uh can’t wait for  
episode six and seven so far it’s shaping up to 
be true that these last few episodes are bangers  
so hopefully the ball keeps growing here all

hey guys it’s grant here well connor you told me 
to come fight you on the listening post so here i  
am good step on my web i had to clarify because i 
don’t think it was coming across earlier that my  
issue with this is that it’s just not a book of 
boba fett episodes um if anyone was in the room  
walking by i didn’t see the title screen they 
would have thought this was a new mandalorian  
episode and and that’s kind of the main issue 
with this um for me is that just we’re here  
to see boba fett do cool stuff and he just keeps 
getting swept under the rug one way or the other
um that being said the episode as the mando 
episode was pretty enjoyable i mean it had  
some issues here and there so boba was has always 
been one of your favorite characters yes how does  
this fit in with you know the show’s not done yet 
but do you agree with grant so far like getting  
swept under the rug boba has gone from being uh 
mysterious and then in the like uh rebels and  
clone wars like anger brutal like savage amazing 
hunter to just old man wants to pet his animals  
and get beaten up like it’s definitely taken away 
the cool factor for me at least for boba fett and  
he loves it yeah he’s just not he’s not as cool 
as he used to be yeah i mean i guess like he’s  
old man retired boomer fed but it’s just i don’t 
know it kind of kills the vibe of the character  
as a whole for me but it’s still weird because 
he was so good in mandalorian season two i know  
and it’s just completely derailed from that from 
what we saw in his savagery and his fighting and  
beating the crap out of everybody to now just 
getting the beat crap beaten out of him in every  
instance he’s got in the fight hopefully we still 
have two episodes left we could see a turnaround  
um why is den trying to fight with a dark saber 
when he’s doing bounties when he has zero training  
with it and he’s got an arsenal of other weapons 
to use um bro if i had a lightsaber training  
i would go ham with the dark saber and smoke 
some dudes with it i guess that was more so for  
fan service and whatnot and it was cool to 
watch that guy was cool just from a realistic  
standpoint with bounty hunting why would you 
use that weapon when you have no training  
um and then we got the naboo starfighter the n1 
which very cool again really cool what they’re  
trying to do they’re going for like a rat rod look 
at the big barrel carb popped out of the top of  
the hood uh when he’s first firing it up you can 
hear like a v8 soundtrack which cool stuff there  
but when you look at it from what he does for 
a living he literally lived in the razor crest  
so the naboo the n1 starfighter is just not going 
to serve his knees yeah um unless it’s used as  
more of you know like a strike fighter and then 
he has an additional razor crest or something  
but other than that it was a lot of fun episode 
um just seeing mando again and i think that’s kind  
of what dave wanted to do he wanted to forget 
about george lucas’s character for an episode  
and go back to his characters 
because that’s what he likes to do  
see we talked about this a little bit and 
i was saying that i do disagree with this  
because dave filoni’s character is ahsoka 
not mando john favreau knows his character  
you know so taking a step back you know from the 
k i understand the point of view but it’s just not  
df’s character you know and i think that john 
has obviously a big picture idea of everything
so the issue you know for me and it’s 
interesting i should say because even  
my neighbor who has like zero eu experience and 
and just likes to watch commando with his kid  
and likes star wars in general he’s having 
issues with the show because like where are  
we going with boba and his comment to me was 
boba needed a week off from being beaten up  
and it’s kind of said that you know someone who’s 
not necessarily as into it as most of us maybe are  
um is still finding issues with the show so that 
being said still interested to see where it goes
yeah you know to have an outsider perspective 
like that you know i think that everybody  
sees that the same way it doesn’t matter 
how much you’re into it the truth of the  
matter is is that you know he’s getting 
his butt kicked like all the time and  
you know once again we have two episodes 
left hopefully that changes yeah exactly
what’s up fellas this is vinnie 
vinnie boy this episode was awesome  
i just got a lot to say in a short quick period of 
time basically nice to see the man lauren is back  
although we didn’t get one gist of boba 
fett but this is a nice way i guess for  
them to introduce them but get right to 
it seeing the fight between vizsla and  
den was pretty awesome to see how the 
mandalorian creed basically does their battle of  
challenging one another for the dark saber uh 
i’m not gonna go and call in the optical order  
here but i’ll try uh the scene of mandalore 
just being desecrated with dude shout outs to  
our twitter uh we finally had like a little 
tweet pop off i made a little collage picture  
uh that i also posted on our instagram it was 
just the the night of a thousand tears and  
it was beautiful and horrific all at the same 
time and it popped off on twitter uh got like  
5 000 likes and a bunch of retweets that was 
really really cool this was probably top three  
moments for me for this episode it was it 
was amazing it’s a terminator style skynet  
uh droid from rogue one i forget his destination 
number but yeah okay total total 90s 80s vibes  
the m1 starfighter beautiful beautifully 
well done pod racer vegas canyon awesome  
and also where we saw aurora sing last 
time there are now houses too bad she did  
so times have really changed and gone uh yeah 
it’s pretty much everything that i think i’ve  
ever wanted from the show but we didn’t see 
boba so can’t wait to see what you guys uh  
think about this episode i’m gonna 
give it a a solid eight out of ten  
it would have been a 1010 if they had a little 
few more extras in there but basically you got  
to have both fit why are you going to send fenix 
you want to show your face around town exactly  
over there come on now let’s what’s this about but 
anyway that’s my short take on it have a good one

you know i think me and you both said nine out of  
ten for this episode and if bobo would have showed 
up at the end instead of it just being finnick it

of like convenience for lucasfilm like oh you know  
i don’t know maybe somebody gets hurt or whatever 
the case may be it just it’s so weird that  
boba can’t leave mas espa to go over to mos eisley 
to talk to mando or maybe you know finnick was  
there for days looking for amando you know what i 
mean i don’t know it’s just weird it’s just weird  
yeah weird timing that ends up being on tatooine 
period and she’s just like oh by the way we need  
muscle yeah one more vinny left us a second little 
one more thing i forgot to mention yes it can be  
done and yes it is possible and yes we did see it 
done they ella swapped and one starfighter that is  
off ls the world justin exactly ls everything uh 
that was still that you know that was probably top  
that was top three for me too was the the 
first ignition of the in one that was just it  
was ridiculous now we are going to hear a message 
from the nicest mustache west of the mississippi

where boba fett goes going last week to take

long rifle i was just disappointed to point out  
or to see and then i had to point out 
the lack of continuity because he shot  
somebody with that rifle at like four feet and 
i didn’t hear no scope other than that great  
dang it i just realized joey is in baton rouge 
and he’s actually east of the mississippi  
so now with me and you grow a 
mustache we can’t even claim it  
you beat us to it uh yes i thank you for calling 
in joe no it’s on the it’s on the west you have  
to cross this mississippi when you’re driving 
there we’re safe we are oh yeah i guess anyway

jonathan here wanted to call in for this 
episode i think it was absolutely fantastic  
um i guess i’ll get out of the way first i can’t 
understand the viewpoint where someone might say  
this had nothing to do with boba fett so why 
is it in the book of boba fett but screw that  
viewpoint because this episode was amazing um 
just kidding all opinions are valid in three years  
um i thought it was great uh so many so many cool 
things uh him wielding dark safer was amazing  
he’s got to be careful he’s trying 
to chop his own head off though so  
he’s gonna have to get some training for 
sure uh love that he has his attachment  
to grow goose still and like wants to 
go see him and made a little armor for  
him that was amazing ring city i don’t even 
know what it’s called freaking amazing uh
the the battle he had was was awesome to watch 
they took the jet packs off i was like oh man  
this is spicy and death although i was confused 
how commando could almost come to death and i i  
want like the kevin hart like when they take off 
their jet packs i want someone to cut in the part  
where kevin’s like it’s about to go down and then 
it just goes to them freaking fighting forget the  
girl’s name uh but she would they say and then 
when he’s winning she’s like oh okay get the army  
that’s talking about like really seems kind of one 
one-sided there but okay uh kind of glad he got he  
got booted booted out of the no longer part of 
the tribe he got voted off the island um but i  
think we’re definitely gonna go uh commander lord 
now if he’s gonna go into the bath to join the  
the plane again then uh i think that’s definitely 
where we’re going the night of a thousand years  
that was awesome to see uh super dark but 
really cool um really cool visual there so uh  
there’s a lot more stuff going on just driving 
driving while it works i’m trying to think of the  
episode but uh well overall incredible absolutely 
incredible love about the music the music was  
amazing the the intro scene where the the title of 
the book event comes up and they did the crossover  
between mandalorian music and the book of bonus 
pen music was absolutely insane i’ve listened  
to that like an infinite amount of times over 
and over i can’t wait for book above effect to  
come out music was incredible hopefully the next 
couple episodes are just going to keep this up  
uh especially with the graphics i thought the 
graphics were amazing this episode so uh the  
detail was incredible so hopefully hopefully 
this is the kind of level of episodes we get  
will we see grogan next episode that would be 
interesting i don’t know if they’re gonna save  
it for season three of mandalorian or if we’re 
actually gonna get to go see the little guy  
um next week that’ll be pretty cool so 
the wife wife my wife was freaking out  
when she thought the possibility of seeing 
grove who came up so disney smart they know  
what they’re doing with their money they know 
what attracts the crowds and i think uh i think
he got cut off but three minutes 
yeah three minutes is the killer  
but you know they they know what’s making money 
and baby yoda be making that money man like  
you know we might even see 
baby yoda in ahsoka again  
you know depending on that timeline you know we 
talked a little bit off air about where could  
grogu go you know does he stay with amanda or 
does he stay with luke does he go with mando  
you know because ahsoka was afraid of training 
him in the first place and maybe luke does too
next we have chris machado
this is chris from fomo cast i’ve been missing 
for a few weeks but i will say uh one of the  
best episodes we just saw uh very nostalgic for 
numerous reasons not only from the mandalorium

think that bryce dallas howard deserves her own  
her own movie as multiple people have said and 
for those that are complaining santa there was  
not enough boba fett uh our idiots i’m 
okay with saying that and i dude she  
100 needs her own movie but me and 
you talked about this a little bit  
i would prefer for her to have her own tv show 
and you would prefer for her to have her own movie
justin is muted and he is looking there he goes  
i was like what’s happening okay so you 
you’d prefer her to have her own movie  
yeah absolutely and and why is that you gave a 
pretty good explanation off air i don’t remember  
what i said now you or you the main point was 
the movies are the story drivers where it comes  
to money you know bringing in new people from 
star wars uh okay yeah yeah yeah and all that  
was wonderful what i said oh my gosh we’ll also 
say that i am super excited for what’s to come  
and hopefully they’re actually setting up not just 
the end of um the mandalorian but they’re also  
setting up uh maybe potential boba fett

this episode it makes me want mandalorian 
season three so bad and on top of that the  
cinematography was fantastic bryce dallas howard 
get her a movie right now uh and uh my guy
to deliver the bounty and it’s just one wrong shot 
in that bar which gave me nice reveal republic  
vibes um yeah that was probably one of the coolest 
things the halo that’s a that’s something i  
haven’t heard anybody else say is that the whole 
bar sequence gave him uh older public vibes that’s  
that’s now that he’s saying that you know the 
bar sequence yeah where he’s getting the pony
so yeah those are my poorly written show notes 
uh you know shout out to sam whitworth for  
being somewhere in this episode i i don’t know 
i didn’t have time to prepare oh come on man  
but uh he’s one of the clitonians yeah for

the cantina splicer everybody justin this was 
an amazing episode and this was a this was a
