Alpha GPC Review – Benefits, Side Effects, Dosage

about alpha GPC my typical dose of
something like 200 to 300 milligrams of
alpha GPC across three times per day
we’re gonna talk about the benefits
we’re gonna talk about the appropriate
dosage we’ll talk about the side effects
and then stay tuned to the end of the
video where I’m gonna discuss nootropics
that can go really well with alpha GPC

first what is alpha GPC it’s a cold
energetic compound used for its
cognitive enhancing properties now what
that means is it’s gonna help you in a
lot of areas of cognition we’re talking
from memory to processing speed to
energy levels to reducing brain fog
fighting fatigue and even improving your
mood from my experience in taking alpha
GPC one thing I liked about it is it
just seemed that my whole nootropic
stack works better it’s almost as if you
were adding extra batteries to you and
giving yourself more energy but there’s
two main benefits of alpha GPC which

/> I’ll elaborate on first would be an
improvement in your mental performance
and second would be an improvement in
your physical performance respect to
mental performance one way that I
learned a lot about nootropics is
browsing on reddit or Quora on a daily
basis just reading about people’s
experiences and you’ll commonly see
people experiencing all kinds of
benefits from alpha GPC and this is
backed by a lot of studies showing that
this is true if you browse on examined
calm you can see that there is quite a
significant effect in reducing cognitive
decline and that’s been true in my
experience when I initially started
using alpha GPC it’s because the rassa
times were really not working as much as
I wanted them to I was using piracetam
oxy racetam aniracetam and prama racetam
and what so was it’s known that the
raster tabs do just use a lot of choline
therefore you need to replenish your
choline stores so that’s where I
introduced it to my stack it’s because I
was initially using CDP choline another
form of choline that wasn’t working as
well as I wanted it to now this is
common and this is why this supplement
is becoming increasingly popular a year
after year if you’re somebody trying for
a so time or if any of the racetams
it’s known that you need to replenish
your choline stores and the ideal and
the practical way of doing that is
through
supplementing with choline and you
really have three alternatives this way
number one would be to supplement with
choline bitartrate second would be to
supplement with CDP choline and third
would be to supplement with alpha GPC so
what happened with me was I really enjoy
Perazzo time and combining it with the
choline source although choline by
tartaric really wasn’t that effective it
just helped me to fight headaches
afterwards I replaced holding bitartrate
with CDP choline and then my snack
worked better and then you can say I
leveled up even more so I replaced that
and I took alpha GPC instead of CDP
choline um it is interesting though I’m
finding that a lot of people respond
better to CDP choline than alpha GPC but
maybe the ideal stack could be combining
them both both CDP choline and alpha GPC
and I say this because I’m finding it
across different nootropic blends one
review I’ve done is on kweli of mine
which I’ll see if I can put the link
over here and you’ll find if you browse
across the twenty-something ingredients
in quality of mind they’ve actually
included both alpha GPC and CDP choline
there is some evidence showing that CDP
choline is more so for mental
performance whereas alpha GPC better for
physical performance whereas CDP choline
doesn’t have much of a physical benefit
I found that the dose of this is very
important though is if you take too
little alpha GPC you may get brain fog
and if you take too much off the GPC you
may get brain fog as well so because of
that maybe it’s a good idea to try it in
a capsule form where it’s measured
versus a powder form every time I’m
making an order of alpha GPC I’m usually
buying it in the powdered form and the
reason I’m doing that is because the
dose differs across the day for me I
really want to get the physical benefits
so I’ll take a higher dose pre-workout
something like 300 milligrams to 500
milligrams and then throughout the
course of the day I’ll use it a little
bit less maybe 100 milligrams to 200
milligrams let’s talk about the physical
benefits there’s studies suggesting that
although it may not do much with hormone
regulation it can increase your power
output it can increase your vo2 max and
it can increase your aerobic capacity
which means you’ll be able to do cardio
a lot easier have I seen any sort of
improvements across growth hormone no
not really although that’s not why I
take alpha GPC I take it more for the
mental benefits and if it has physical
benefits as well then that’s great too
something worth pointing out is that a
lot of big brands and manufacturers are
starting to put alpha GPC in their
pre-workout products and we’re talking
about some of the best pre-workout
products cell
there I think pre-jym has it maybe
engine in some other good products you
can see it’s there in the ingredient
profile some pre workouts are
transparent in that they will list all
the ingredients along with their dosages
whereas some other pre-workout products
unfortunately it’s a proprietary blend
so you can’t see how much alpha GPC
they’re adding in the product if I
suspect that a pre-workout doesn’t have
too much alpha GPC than me personally
I’m just adding a little bit more in my
shake you’ll find throughout your work
all that you’ll likely have better
energy levels which could lead you to a
better workout which naturally means
more muscle less fat if that’s your goal
let’s talk about dosage and this is a
little bit tricky as I found that with
alpha GPC with CDP choline and even
choline bitartrate
it’s highly variable meaning that
different doses work for different
people like I personally use 300
milligrams across three times a day but
I would never suggest somebody else try
that as there are some studies showing
that dosages like 900 milligrams or one
gram of alpha GPC even split throughout
the day has caused some bad things see
how you respond I found just through
reading about people’s experiences that
generally after a couple of weeks they
find that they have more energy they
have less brain fog and they’re able to
work for a longer period of time so
somebody that typically gets fatigued
after 3 to 4 hours of work may be able
to enjoy a longer work they have more
intensity be more efficient and work
more hours side effects and if you’ve
watched other videos on my channel then
you probably know most of the nootropics
that I discuss don’t have any really
severe side effects I will say that
alpha GPC is something you should be a
bit more mindful of as people do report
having headaches and this is very very
common if that is the case I would say
do two things number one try different
dosage or a second try a different form
of choline like CDP choline although
it’s for experiencing brain fog that’s
generally what happens your memories
worse you’re slower you’re just not able
to come up with creative ideas or do
anything you’re just sore waiting for
time to pass the good news is I’ve not
found alpha GPC to interact with my
sleep it’s not like it causes any
insomnia or prevents me from getting
into those deep levels of sleep which
you need for recovery and for memory
formation so that’s how I’m typically
using it I’m using it once in the
morning pre-workout at 300 milligrams
and then likely in the early afternoon
and late afternoon in doses of 200
milligrams so something like 700 to 800
milligrams a day on these when I am
using modafinil or even phenylpiracetam
I’m using more alpha GPC as alpha GPC
really is just a great tool if you’re
somebody that
his headaches when you take nootropics
and this is common especially across the
brass items and modafinil or our
modafinil or a draught final it’s the
headaches so the great news is we found
a solution for me it seems to be water
and choline I like off the GPC I’m
overall I would rate alpha GPC 9 out of
10 the only reason it’s not 10 out of 10
is that I dislike how frequently I need
to take it like when you take a big dose
in the morning it’s just not enough you
need to keep on replenishing your
choline and have more throughout the day
so if I could just take it once a day
and be done with it it would be a lot
more convenient as it’s a nootropic
which I’m usually not cycling I’m taking
maybe 30 days on maybe five days off
I’ve not found that I personally built a
tolerance to it although if you’ve built
the tolerance to alpha GPC then comment
below on that as I want to read about
your experience
now other nootropics that go well with
alpha GPC would be the rasa Tom’s and
some of my favorites are oxiracetam aniracetam piracetam and pramiracetam
wouldn’t suggest that you take piracetam
without the other racetams is piracetam
time along without the GPC you won’t
notice much but the magic happens for me
when I mix piracetam along with the
other racetam Sanna choline source
you’ll find you have all the benefits of
the rasa Thomas we’re talking about
verbal fluency memory energy levels and
your overall motivation and work ethic
and then combine that without the GPC
it’s like the wrath of Tom’s work twice
more effectively and so if you’re using
the wrath of Tom’s and you’re wondering
why they’re not working it could just be
because you’re not replenishing your
choline
so check out alpha GPC or maybe CDP
choline and likely you’ll feel something
and then another tool which I really
like without the GPC would obviously be
modafinil and this is something which
you obviously have to speak to your GP
I’m not suggesting anyone take it of
course assess your tolerance be safe
about everything although if you
experience the modafinil headaches that
I found that drinking a lot of water and
having alpha GPC throughout the course
of the day really helps to eliminate
those headaches
I took 100 milligrams of midazolam hours
ago and I just used alpha GPC across a
few servings a day and I haven’t
experienced any headaches or any sort of
bad crash I hope you all found that
