the sacred archives, making them suspicious
of the Xu family.
Cheng Rong argued with Xu Yan, when she strongly
hinted that Xu Lingxi is likely the perpetrator
Meanwhile, the second son of Cheng family
has an entirely approach.
In fact, he is trying hard to impress her.
Sadly, she politely rejected his gifts of
perfume.
She conjured up some excuses and left him
dejected.
She expressed reveals her dissatisfaction
with the engagement.
However, she has to obey grandma.
Our

Elder Feng is not buying into Jing Xuan’s

Conflict arises as Jing Xuan is adamant on

death.
Elder Feng had enough of him, having the baggage
of dead people.
And she exploded in a fit of frustration.
This episode reveals more of a new couple,
Cheng Xuan and Xu Lingxi.
He is clearly in love with her and she is
clearly not.
As a character, she is not being fleshed out
very well.
She just appears to be a well brought up lady
who is stuck with the family obligation.
She clearly dislikes the engagement but she
lacks the will to protest.
On the other hand, Cheng Xuan clearly likes
the engagement but he is not able to win her
over.
As for Jing Xuan, he is not only a midnight
healer, but he also seems to know Tu Li’s
timetable well.
I dunno, maybe he is just missing her lunch
or chatter.
As of now, these episodes are stretching my
patience.
When are they going to meet?
As of now, we just need to be patient and
wait for next episode.
