It is lightweight and small in size.
It is loaded with Dyson Hyperdymium motor which
generates up to 150 air watts of powerful suction.
It spins up to 125,000rpm to suck up
microscopic dust and large debris.
11 root cyclones generate centrifugal
forces of up to 100,000g to capture dust
and debris from the airflow,
so there’s no loss of suction.
Fully-sealed 5-stage filtration captures 99.99%
of dust particles and allergens down to
0.3 microns for a powerful deep clean.
An acoustic piezo sensor has
been integrated into V12.
It continuously sizes and counts
dust particles then automatically
increases suction power when needed.
And it is loaded with a 0.35L dust bin.

Let’s dive into the actual usage now.
Dyson V12 Detect Slim manages to
clean my whole double storey semi-D
with around 200 square meters on Auto mode easily.
Yup, that’s with the laser turned on.
In addition, V12 is light and easy to use.
Yes, you can swap hands without
stopping the cleaning now.
Power off it when you are done.
Without motorised tool, it
can last for 116 minutes
on Eco mode, 42 minutes on Med mode and 5 minutes
on Boost mode for intensive spot-cleaning.
Shorter with motorised tool attached.
And Med mode will become Auto mode then.
For self-charging, it takes
around 3 hours to fully charge.
You can check the battery life
status from the LCD screen.
Or LED light indicator on the battery itself.
As for noise level, Eco mode has 69 dBA, Med
mode is around 71 dBA and Boost mode is 81 dBA.
In short, it’s a quiet cordless
vacuum cleaner for daily use.
Dyson V12 is very powerful
for a slim vacuum cleaner.

It’s totally flat due to out of air inside.

by V12 in a single trip easily.
FYI, all the tests were done in Auto mode.
Oat is piece of cake for V12 as well.
You can see all the dirty stuff

Again, a single trip does the work.
V12 can pick up mung beans too.
It may not be as smooth as previous tests.
But does the job well indeed.
The same applies to long leaves.
V12 can clean them but a few
more trips might be needed.
Do get Total Clean or Absolute Extra package
if you have a lot of carpets to clean.
Direct Drive Cleaner Head is perfect for carpets.
It can deep clean the carpet very well.
Rest assures that all the
ground-in dirt will be picked up.

0.35L dust bin is more than
enough for daily cleaning.

As you can see, there is a lot
of dirty stuff in the dust bin.
Dust bin emptying is very straightforward.
Just push the red release button will do.
All the dirty stuff will be ejected.
By the way, some of the hairs might
get stuck even removed the dust bin.
So brush is needed to clean them.

It is easy to maintain V12.
Yes, just remove the filter.
Clean it with water will do.
Rinse it before attach back.
The same applies to other tools
without electronic components.
