Holistic Health – Subscription Box – Young Living Essential Oils Review

Curious what it means to be a Young
Living member? Wondering what the heck we
do with these oils and all these oil
infused products? Well, today I’m going to
take you guys through my monthly order
for June so you can take a look at sort
of what I order from this company and
how we integrate it in our everyday
lives as a family.
So, as you guys know I’m a member of
Young Living Essential Oils. I became a
member because I purchased their premium
starter kit about a year and a half ago
at this point and whenever you purchase
a starter kit you automatically become a
member and you get wholesale pricing and
you can sign up for their monthly
subscription program and you can even
share your experience with the oils to
get like points and even residual income.
Okay so hopefully you guys don’t hear
all the background noise there literally
repaving my road right now. So, I have all
the products here that I got this month.
This is definitely not the entirety of
what we have in terms of essential oils
and essential oil products in our house.
It’s just what I received this month as
sort of my refill you know stuff that

we
ran out of or maybe stuff that we wanted
to try and even an oil in here that I
got as a free gift because I’ve reached a certain number of points on my
account. Let’s start with two bottles of
their insect repellent. Austin, my little
guy, actually had a deer tick on him
yesterday. I literally got this package
in the mail yesterday and at around the
same time I was in the bathroom pulling
this tick out of his leg. So, I’m glad
that these are finally here and I’m so
weary of insect repellents especially
ones you buy in the store with Deet and
all the other chemicals. Young
Living is a company that I trust so
super excited to have these now and we
will be using them all the time after I
pulled this tick off of Austin. It was
actually a very small tick. I think they
call them nymphs. It’s very possible that it could carry
Lyme Disease. So we had to talk to our pediatrician and it was a whole big deal. I think he’s fine
because we caught it early enough.
Needless to say I’m very glad to have
Young Living’s insect repellent, deet-free,
100% plant-based formula. I’ll
include a link so that you can kind of
take a look at what’s in this. I’ve read
very great reviews on this and I’m
excited to try it out and I can tell you
after finding that tick my kids will be
wearing insect repellent all the time
for the rest of the summer and probably
the fall. So, I ordered two just because
they do run out of this like popular
summertime stuff and I wanted to make sure
while I saw it in stock that I got it. I
also got two of the mineral sunscreen
lotions. Again, just like with insect
repellent anything that we put on our
skin I am super super cautious to make
sure we’re using safe ingredients. I
don’t want the kids or my husband and I
absorbing chemicals that aren’t good for
our bodies. So, just makes sense that we’d get this stuff from
Young Living. This is water
resistant, SPF 50, rubs in very well. I’ll
try to show you guys a demo. But this is
a good one to have. Obviously it’s summer
and we’ve especially with Austin because
he has the fairest skin in our family
sunscreen on him all the time. A lot of
this stuff that is zinc-based is
hard to rub in so you’ll try some of the
options at the store and you know you
get them and you’re all excited because
they say how pure and safe they are and
then they like don’t rub in or they
leave your skin totally white. This one
is really good in that way. So, we’re also stocking up on our Kidscents
toothpaste. So, the kids have been
using this for probably almost
a year now and the tubes last us forever
because you know kids we don’t put you
don’t put very much toothpaste on the
toothbrush, so like a pea-sized. So, these
last a long time. But every time I run
out I wish I had a backup so I ordered
two this time. Then at least once this
one runs out I’ll have this one at home
while we’re waiting for our next order
to come in. I’ve talked about this in one
of my vlogs but it’s citrus flavor,
tastes like lemonade, the kids love it,
makes toothbrushing a little bit more
fun. And again because it’s Young
Living I know that the ingredients are safe them. Okay next
one – Kidscents Mightyvites. Kidscents is Young Living’s kid line
They’ve got oils and supplements like
this, and bath products you know shampoo,
bath gel, body lotion, all that stuff. I
actually ordered these for the first
time a couple months ago. I’m using them
for both boys and you take a couple of
tablets, you know the serving
size is on the label. With the two boys
we went through it pretty quickly so I
realized now that I probably have to order
this every month and I didn’t order it
last month. But they love these, they
taste great, they’re chewable, they’re not gummies, the
gummies are bad for their teeth, and just
they like them and they look forward to
them. So I know that it’s a vitamin that
works for our family. You want your
vitamin right now? Right while I’m doing this video? Alright. They haven’t had it in
weeks. They miss their vitamins. I just
gave him half. I give him two and Chase
does four per day. It says that you’re
supposed to start when they’re four
years old and he’s almost four so just to be extra extra cautious
I only give him two and then when he turns four in September I’ll start to give him
four. You can see he’s like pulling this
thing out of my hand. They love the taste.
So it’s a really good way to make sure
that they have their vitamins. I also got
a refill on my 15 milliliter lavender. We
go through lavender very quickly in this
house. It’s probably one of our most
frequently used oils. My husband and I
both use it just for mood and to relax
at night and this actually goes in the
diffuser every single night when my
husband and I are going to bed and we
usually pair it with another oil. Lately
we’ve been into lavender and cedar wood.
But we go through this one really quick.
So I’m ordering this at least at least
two or three times a year. I mean the
bottle still lasts a long time. These
bottles last forever because you don’t
use a lot at a time. But this one I
probably order more frequently than any
of my other oils. So the last thing I got
in this month’s order was 15 milliliter
bottle of citronella oil. So I’m really
excited about this. This was actually
free. I earned this just for being a
member of their monthly subscription
program. Every couple of months I end up
getting a free oil and at the same time
I’m building up tons of points to buy
other free products. I’ll get
this as a gift but I’m also earning
points to put towards you know the stuff
that I need for the family. Citronella
obviously I’m sure you guys are familiar
with the name, citronella. It’s great for
repelling the bugs and you can diffuse
it and you can also use it topically. It
looks like, I’ve actually never used
citronella before – needs to be diluted
with a carrier oil and you can also
diffuse it up to 30 minutes three times
daily. So I’m gonna definitely be
researching this a little bit more and
using it to repel the bugs. So that’s
what I’ve got in my monthly order this
month. So excited, the kids are excited.
They’ve been waiting for their
vitamin refill for weeks. I should have
ordered it quicker after we
we’re getting low on that bottle. This is
all great stuff and honestly I love my
monthly order because it’s like my
special gift that I receive in the mail
every month. I’m the only girl in the
house you know and it’s kind of like
my… not that it’s girly, but it’s kind
of like my special thing that I get and
as a mom it’s all stuff that I use on
the kids and for me and my husband and
it’s just such a – Young Living is such a
great family brand. I love it and then I
get to share my experience with you guys
and make a little business out of it.
It’s cool. I love it. Anyway, if you guys
have any questions let me know. I love to
talk about this stuff, answer questions.
We’ve been using oils for about five
years in our house but joined Young
Living about a year and a half ago and
that’s sort of when we really started to
integrate oils into I mean so many
different facets of our everyday life.
We’re really into holistic living and
keeping our mind, body, soul as healthy
and as free from distraction as possible
and that’s one of the reasons that
essential oils are a big part of our
life and we look to Young Living because quality and safety
and purity are a big deal for us so
again Essential Rewards monthly
subscription program – totally optional,
totally flexible, you can start it
whenever you want. Best to start it
when you get the starter kit but you
don’t have to, and you can cancel it any
time you want. So if you want to give it
a try
when you become
member go for it! Thanks for watching, you guys are awesome, and I will catch you in
the comments or somewhere else. Maybe
we’ll bump into each other. Have a good
summer!
