IN THE TALL GRASS (2019) | Movie Review | Netflix Original Movie

in the tall grass is a creepy Stephen
King adaptation but is this Netflix
original movie really worth seeing?
in
the tall grass is a Netflix original
movie that’s based on a book by Stephen
King and Joe Hill and comes from
director Vince Enzo Natali the man
behind the cube and splice a pregnant
woman and her brother go into a grass
field after hearing calls for help from
a young boy but they soon discover this
is no ordinary field of grass and
something very evil lurks inside now the
first thing that really stands out about
this film is the cinematography there
are so many incredible shots that really
play with this tall grass location from
beautiful overhead shots to continuous
shots weaving through the infinite grass
field it’s really a visually impressive
film the script on the other hand is a
lot less impressive the dialogue feels
unnatural and some of the exposition is
forced and could have been better
flushed out in the story overall in the
tall grass is an eerie thriller that
holds you in a constant state of
suspense if you’re a fan of other
Stephen King adaptations you should
definitely check this one out the
cinematography is pretty stunning the
performances are solid but more than
anything this movie is really great at
making you feel uneasy it’s not the best
whore

Netflix has given us but it’s
still worth adding to your queue and
that’s why I give in the tall grass a THREE!
