Kimchi Jjigae (김치찌개)│Korean Food Review

Hello everyone! Welcome back to Happy Tummy RJ! This is Rea and Jimmy!
Today we are going to have Kimchi Jjigae!
Kimchi Jjigae is kimchi stew. It is a really common dish in Korea.
The stew is made with kimchi, green onion, soft tofu, meat, and glass noodles in a broth made from soy sauce, Korean chili flakes and chili paste.
The stew has a really cozy feeling with a combination of sour, spicy, and savory.
The stew that we are eating has pork, but you can also get it without meat or sometimes it is served with other kinds of meat or seafood instead.
We always enjoy this dish, but the Kimchi Jjigae at this place was especially delicious!
Many people love Kimchi Jjigae, so if you haven’t tried it yet, we highly recommend it!
Here’s how we rate Kimchi Jjigae out of five stars.
It is usually a very affordable meal since it is a really common food. Here it was about $7 per person.
There was plenty of food to fill both of us up!
We think it’s really delicious and it is a well-loved dish.
It is a great value for the money!
Please enjoy Kimchi Jjigae!
