LUMINA Exotic Hand Cannon Review Destiny 2

what’s up everybody welcome back to my
channel today we are back in destiny 2
and in this video I will be doing a
short little review of the lumina exotic
hand cannon but before we get into this
review if you do not already have the
lumina you can head over to my channel
and you will find a guide there showing
you how to get it but anyways let’s get
into this review first let’s talk about
what makes this hand cannon special it
has two unique perks on it the first
perk is called noble rounds kills with
this weapon leave behind remnants
absorbing a remnant converts your next
hit fired shot into an ally seeking
noble round and partially refills the
magazine the second perk is called
blessing of this guy using a noble round
on an ally heals them in grants both you
and them a weapon damage bonus for a
short duration so to simplify those
perks basically when you get a kill with
the Lumina a white orb will spawn above
the enemies body and if you get close
enough to that white orb it will start
to float towards you and your Lumina
will absorb that orb once this happens
four bullets will be loaded into your
mag and you will get one noble round you
will know you have a noble round when
you see

the noble round buff appear on
the left side of your screen now once
you see the noble round buff you can
then hipfire the Lumina at another
player and this will heal them and it
will also give both of you a weapon
damage buff now I really like this
weapon for two reasons first up I like
that this is a very supportive weapon
this is not a gun that solo players will
use this is something that was made for
teams to use this will help you survive
very difficult encounters when you’re
with your team but not only is it for
healing it will also give you a very
good damage boost when you have that
weapon damage buff you’re doing an extra
35% damage with your weapons for the
duration of that buff which means you’re
not just the boring healer you’re also
doing a very good amount of damage
yourself
everybody wins using this weapon and the
second reason I really like this weapon
is that it shows us that there may be
some plans later in the future of
destiny that will allow us to either
pick a role to play on the team or to
create role-specific builds like healer
builds or crucible healer builds or
maybe you need a dedicated tank for a
raid this is a very good step in that
action personally I feel like a lot of
players and destiny are very selfish
with their builds they just want to put
out a lot of damage very quickly which
is okay because that’s what the game is
about but there’s not a lot of people
there supporting their team and I think
that would be a great addition to this
game especially with the difficulty of
all these raids and who knows what else
is to come in destiny – now let’s get
into my thoughts on PvE and PvP first
step in PvE again I feel like this
weapon is amazing for PvE having a
healer with this weapon is gonna keep
you alive in some very difficult
encounters there’s not much else to say
about that you’re gonna be able to stay
alive a lot longer and you’re gonna be
able to put out a little bit more damage
if the person using the lumina is good
with it if they are racking up the noble
rounds and firing them at you so you can
do more damage and stay alive things are
gonna go very smoothly
in PvP it’s a little different I feel
like this weapon would be very good if
you have a premade team using this
weapon with a group full of randoms may
be difficult because they all have
different things that they’re doing you
have no way of communicating with them
they don’t give a fuck they’re doing
their own thing they don’t care and if
you’re trying to play that healing role
you typically want to stick with it but
that’s hard when you have five different
people running in five different
directions and they all need your help
so if you have a premade team or if
you’re really good with this weapon then
I could possibly see this weapon being
very helpful to your team in PvP now
there are a few extra things that I
think you guys should know about this
weapon first you can only hold five
noble rounds at one time so if you are
in a room full of ads and there are a
lot of enemies that you can kill to
spawn a lot of these orbs you want to
continuously be firing those noble
rounds at your teammates so you can
absorb more of these orbs and not waste
them don’t pick up extra orbs if you
already have five noble rounds that will
not help you at all you know what I mean
it also appears that the noble rounds
will stick with you even if you switch
weapons and there’s not really a timer
on them so if you have five noble rounds
you can actually switch to your heavy or
secondary weapon and use those for a
while then take your Lumina back out and
fire the noble rounds
there was no expiration on these things
it was very nice to see that it was nice
to see that I could get five noble
rounds and then switched to my heavy
use that for like five minutes and then
switch back to my lumina and still have
those noble rounds but basically I feel
like this weapon is very good for team
play but if you are a solo player I
would highly suggest avoiding this
weapon the perks on this weapon will do
nothing for a solo player like you can’t
heal yourself and you can’t give
yourself that damage boost sure the
Lumina can output some pretty good
damage if you’re hitting precision shots
and stuff like that but the exotic perks
on it will not benefit you in any way if
you’re playing alone so definitely get
this weapon because it could help you
out later on in the game when you have a
team with you
but don’t use it as a solo player you’re
not going to get much benefit out of
that but anyways that’s about it if you
think I missed anything in this video
please let me know in the comments I
hope this has helped you and thank you
for watching this video
