jacket microphones to be able to increase the quality, but I didn’t want the classic microphone with the wire,
but I was looking for something wireless. I found, searched, found,
searched, yes there are wireless jacket microphones but it is prohibitively expensive. So on
a fairly famous social network, if not perhaps the most famous, I found the advertisement
for this jacket microphone, Microtron. It’s very, let’s say, very nice, I’ve already tried it,
already recorded a couple of videos, I must say it’s a good compromise. Why is it a good compromise?
First of all, the cost is not high, for the two-microphone version, I spent about 50 euros,
plus the quality of this microphone, is that it has its own receiver, which is this one,
ok that you put it directly on the phone without downloading no App, so this is very
very beneficial. Then there is his microphone, as you can see I have two, 1 and 2 there is his
jacket microphone where it turns on and automatically connects. Nothing simpler.
to this wireless system if there is no longer the trouble of the wire that you have between your feet.
The Microtron this company here, if I understand correctly, I spoke a few days ago with one of the
representatives here in Italy, if I understand correctly it is done, it is created by a group of guys who
make these wireless microphones. In the catalog on the site there are different types,
this one here is the simplest one has the connection for both the mobile phone and the IPhone so to speak,
so I attack “lighting” and then there is also the “Usb C” connection for all other systems.
As for the jack connection, there is, but not this version is another version,
the professional one, the one they call the version for journalists,
which I have already bought, because I want to try that microphone to be connected. to the
camera during my motorcycle trips, so they told me it works 100%.
Another quality of this microphone is that it is very very light, also thanks to the sponges,
thanks to the software, which is inside, they are anti-wind, so there are no disturbances.
At this point, with you, I’ll do the test, I’ll show you the quality of the microphone.
First of all, the first thing I do, is to turn on … ah, one thing I have forgotten …
one thing that I have forgotten is very important. On the receiver that attaches to the mobile phone,
in case the phone is running low and we want to charge it, we can do it
directly using its receiver but by attaching … there is just the input for the
charger, you see, there is the input, so if lighting there is obviously USB C lighting input,
there will be its dedicated input. We can’t tell you anything else …
let’s do the test right away with you. Then we turn on the microphone, then it turns on
and starts flashing, green and red, because it is looking for its receiver, when
I insert the receiver on the phone it switches to functional mode then we go to attack …
Then the microphone already the its green led on, it means that it is in “function” mode
now all I have to do is, attach it to the jacket and in this moment you should hear
my voice slightly different from how you heard it before. I mostly record
with my IPhone I am very close so the audio from before should be good
because I was close, but I guarantee you that in the videos I have done previously,
using this microphone in the garage, circling the bike, I have seen the
quality of the audio which is completely different. So definitely better than before.
I do a test with you, I move away from the iPhone and if you notice that the voice of the
audio, my voice, remains unchanged. I am in another room right now and therefore
you will surely hear my voice equal equal equal equal. Having said that, I return to the
ok setting, here I am, to tell you precisely that the quality of this microphone is a good quality.
