First of , to get a lot of prime time game, you have to be an excellent tea. And the Browns right
now, peopl, the average person probably this they’re a mediocre team, not excellent. I actually don’t think you got to be excellent. I just think you got to just hae or you got or. I’m giving you a few reasons #2. There’s got to be a big time storyline. Last year there was because of Watson. Now he’s still here, but we’re not talking about nationally. Watson’s not going to get discud like he was last year, right? He will hear, but not nationall. So that’s not as big a story. And then it’s popularity of the team. Now the
Browns do have a national following, especially with older fans. But it’s not like, you know, it’s not like a New York team o, you know, whatever like the Steelers. Some of these teams that are are more popular nationally than the Browns are. I would say the Browns. The Browns are popular national, definitely. But they’re more in the the lower end of the upper echelon of popularity more than the top, I think. So all those things combined toe means the Browns won’t have a lf primetime games because this bi. There’s there’s teams that more people are
interested in that you got o think about like what teams aree are the neutral fans interested, you know, like for us. Besides the the Browns and we’ll say the Bengals, for me, of the other 32 teams, who are we most interested in, in seeing in prime time? Whatever reason, I think that they will be guarad one and I think that they’ll get flexed into another one. And that’s, you know, if they’re a good team and they do well and they do what we thik that they’re supposed to do. I think, you know, one of those
weeks 16/17/18, maybe not 18 because 18, everybody plays early, 16 or 17 gets flexed into a night game. And because obviously they alwas got a schedule that one team is going to be this and they don’t pan out and they end up flexing them out of that spot. So I think that the Browns, if they do what we think and Den Watson is playing like he’s supd to and the play calling is going well and that defense is electr, then they will find a way to get them in a prime. Absolutely. Because the Browns e
popular enough that if Deshaun Watson is playing really well and the Browns are better than the avere fan thinks they’re going to be. And there’s certainly a possibiy of that. I will take it a step further. The Browns have the the biggest boom or bust capabilities of any team in the league. If, if the Browns, if, if Deshaun Watson is coming for the first three days, first three or four games, he comes out, you know, hot like fish grease. It’ll set up a conundrum. Yeah, that’s hot grease, bro. That is if if you set up
a conum because the the mainstream medi. Does not want to talk about Deshaun Watson at all. You could actually actually seet in in the way they write storie. They say dumb stuff like well Deshaun Watson is what he is and I’ll just put I’ll put the Brows at 25th as the 25th best team.
