Octopath Traveler II: Game Review
Is the journey of Octopath Traveler II too mature for teens? Let’s call it thrilling, but not too extreme. This steampunk-inspired role-playing game has players tackling unique goals, ranging from education and finance, to enlightenment and revenge. While exploration is important, most of the gameplay is focused on combat. Using wits, weapons, and magic, players battle enemies in fight scenes that show a bit of blood, but no gore. Characters also drink alcohol in taverns, sometimes to excess, and there are sexual references and suggestive lines of dialogue that stop short of being explicit.
