Pixar Toybox Zurg Lair Play Set Disney Store Exclusive Unboxing Review

hey guys we have supersorrell thank you very much
it’s the new pixar toy box emperor’s zerg playset
this has been since we’re all the way from orlando
from the merch queen so thank you very much
mr queens for helping us get this here in the
uk has not yet come out we’ve not seen this
advertised on the united united kingdom website
yet or on the europe sites only in america
and this is actually being touted as a
exclusive to disney.com i believe at this point
nowhere else seems to have it and i’m so glad i
finally got one uh we also have the iron man hall
of armor to review as well in the coming days so
stay tuned for some disney infinity fun but this
is the new pixar toy box version of the emperor’s
zerg playset it finally comes with emperor zerg
and we also get one of his little droids it is a
very cool playset uh there is you can blast the
droid with little shooting cannons and there
is a trapdoor and also available you can find
buzz lightyear but it doesn’t it doesn’t
actually come with the set surprisingly it
only comes with zerg answers robots so i’ve
gone
our buzz so buzz is ready to finally take on evil
emperor zerg sworn enemy of the galactic alliance
i’m from play school and i’m from mattel
i’ve set my laser from stun to kill yeah i can’t
wait for the new chris evans version by the way
i’m very excited about that i’m hoping they
keep deserving it and i can’t wait to see how
they represent him in the new version obviously
the buzz lightyear that we know supposedly is
based upon the movie buzz lightyear that we’re
going to be getting later on so hopefully it’s
going to be very good and chris evans will do
a good job um of the new buzz lightyear and i’m
hoping i wonder who’s going to be or if we’re
leaving caesar and if we will see those little
aliens but i doubt we will because i believe
they were meant to be pizza planet aliens
so there might not be anything to do with it sadly
but anyway let’s go ahead and break this play set
out of the packaging let’s see how it comes i’ve
got a feeling we might have some building to do
don’t need to worry about the box i’m not keeping
it i’m never gonna be partying with this i am a
massive massive toy story fan obviously it was one
of the really original disney films i grew up with
it wasn’t even it was it was distributed by
disney originally wasn’t it but disney didn’t
originally own it i think disney just distributed
it and it wasn’t until pixar and disney sort of
became closer friends later down the line
but i remember going to disneyland paris as a kid
and having all the toy story stuff um i remember
lion king and aladdin so i grew up in
that sort of renaissance era of disney
i went to cinema to see all of them
okay so we’ve got the base of it
yeah we’ve got a lot of building to do
it all comes in bits
okay guys what i’m going to do is i’m going to cut
the camera here go ahead and build this off camera
and i’ll come back to you guys once we’ve built it
up stay tuned right guys so it is totally built i
will show you this probably better on desk count
it’s going to be awkward as hell to hold up and do
um but i’ll show you some things first of all
so we do have is it turned on first of all
no let’s turn it on right it does have
batteries it does take three little watch
batteries and when you push the watch batteries
you’ve got this little center console here
and this little center disc if you push the
center disc that causes the lights to go
and the little thing should
pop up come on there we go
and a little thing pop pops up and it creates
a bunch of little flashing led lights in there
yeah that’s okay it’s not the best feature in the
world wish it spoke i wish it was more i wish it
was audio rather than anything and by the way to
turn it off you can’t just push the switch again
because all that does is release this little bit
here you’ve got to go underneath and physically
switch it off and then switch it back on every
use that is so annoying so again if you want to
use it again push that middle bit and it lights up
you’ve got to put you’ve got to give it a proper
little a proper little push to activate that this
little pop-up bit which says zerg’s power on it it
just creates a flashing little blue light not too
fond of the light up feature the light on feature
is kind of a bit mere i wish it spoke or said
something like the the dialogue from the film
here we are boss for the last time not
today could have had something like that
that would have been pretty cool um but we do
have some other hidden features on this thing
so you see this little bit of the back here that
springs out you can push that and it springs that
and knocks whoever is on the stand flying into
space which is pretty cool we’ve got a little
computer here it doesn’t really do anything that’s
just static these look at the switch on the side
which move the battle pods so you can have zerg
and buzz locked in a duel of fate which is what
i’m going to display them on my stand here and
then of course you’ve got the emperor’s zerg
logo on the top here and a bit like hiding the
thunderbirds you push this little lever here
and it opens up and closes so you
can cause figures to fall to the doom
if you remember i think buzz lightyear fell
through that in the second was like in the second
toy story movie i believe remember rightly but
the real reason for the playset guys we all know
why we got this it’s because of this dude it’s
zerg finally we have an emperor zerg in toy box
i love em preserve i never got the top the talking
figure which i always regret i always wanted one
but i always felt a bit childish buying it
but i don’t know i really still want it i
love zerg he’s my favorite villain he’s clearly
based on darth vader which is the funny part
um especially after toy story 2 with the
thing in the elevator i am your father no
so yeah very cool i love this character
and he does come with his little blaster as
well which is very cool which has a projectile
uh which i’m probably gonna lose now firing
it but you push the little button up here and
i can’t really manage to hit the camera so
yeah that just fires out there but don’t worry
you can just leave it out if you don’t want to
display it with it if you want to have it as a
proper little gun and it slots into
this hand on zerg if i can get it
in his hand for it there we go just take a
little bit of pushing but it does slide his hand
we fight for the last time buzz
i do love zag in florida when i go to disney
world i’m always a big fan of the astro blasters
i’m a bit of a gamer geek so the astro
blasters game always appealed to me
even now as an adult i love that game i know where
all the hidden secrets are to get the highest
score and stuff like if you shoot the top of the
volcano usually where the ride breaks down you can
max out your score very quickly shooting on top
of that volcano yes very very good figure finally
finally we have a zerg in toy works and i’ll just
place him there for you for now well he does also
come with another little robot in this series
which is very naff i will say so the only thing is
it doesn’t stick together in any way shape or
form i have not found a way of securing this
piece together it basically has a little groove
so it can sit just on top of it and then when you
shoot the bizarre laser at it or you shoot the big
cannon at it it knocks it off for the kids so the
kids like well he destroyed the destroyed the the
the robot and the robot has zero articulation it
is just static you can’t lift his arms up to
fire at buzz and use it as a bit of a minion
he’s literally just a static monster it doesn’t
even have a peg a peg display thing so you can’t
even use it on the display base which is annoying
so this guy’s just basically going to sit up top
somewhere static for the entirety of my collecting
days that’s just gonna sit there like that
and occasionally just for giggles
i’ll probably release him into the pit
um but are you one of the other things
as well for me zerg is a little bit too
big for the actual playset he’s a little
bit too tall but i’m all right with it
i waited this lunch reserve i’m
not gonna start bickering now
the place it does feel very small like a person
um i think that was for buzz that one’s for
whoever so they do come with
little pegs on the bottom oh god
please make sure you get them pegs in properly
give it a good push
yeah he’s on now so once he’s on you’ll be able to
rotate him on the display base which is very cool
so him and buzz if you put the gun out i’m pretty
sure he’s gonna knock balls off with the gun alone
and then if we put buzz on the other side
it should layers buzz does have
holes in the bottom of his feet
and so it should go on here very easily
put a slot busy onto
yeah i’ve got him on
because my buzz is a little bit on the looser
side at this point it’s one of the first figures
i bought i didn’t get the second release one i got
the original so my buzz at this point is slightly
worn should we say but that does look pretty
cool on the display base i’ve gotta admit i’ll
take you guys to the description
to give you a proper upload first
look but on display that looks pretty cool having
buzz and zerg locked in an eternal conflict
buzz lightyear not today zerg very cool
big fan of this placer i do
like it it does have its niggles
and not everything’s gonna be perfect every
time we are talking about kids place after
all remember this is not made for adults
this is made for tiny children to play with
and uh we’re just in their world playing so
can’t complain too much it’s not made for us
it’s made for child’s imagination or
grown men that grew up with toy story
so yes i will be keeping those on
this display base probably going
to take emperor’s eggs gun off him because
it does look really out of place on there
or if i just put the gun down
actually so i’m going to take you
guys down to the desk cam to give
you guys an upgrade personal look
at this awesome figure base so
let’s take a look at the desk cam
all right guys so here they are out of the
packaging locked in their eternal conflict buzz
and zerg i didn’t turn it off underneath ah i need
to turn it on oh no everything’s gonna fall there
let me try that again they’re locked in eternal
conflict lights ah flashing lights to the rescue
that literally does nothing the
flashing lights have no purpose does it
he’s so silly i wish it spoke instead give us
some zerg sayings because that’s just pointless
disney even have the zerg talking figure it’s
not like they needed new dialogue or anything
they already have everything they need but that
zerg figure is absolutely cool as hell as the
reason i wanted this playset in the first place
it’s it’s absurd i’m after and it goes awesome
with my voice my buzz needs a little bit clean
by the way so please excuse my buzz he’s been
through helen but this figure um came out i think
it was like number three in the collection and
then they re-released him recently for toy story
4 with a bunch of new accessories like a new new
backpack and stuff and you blaster from the astro
blasters game but i’ve got the original one which
came out god years ago now so i think super soul
junior even played with mine when she were a kid
um out of interest now they both stood kind
of near it let’s see how far this flings them
oh my god
let’s take buzz off for a second because i’ve
got this stupid robot but i hate him because he
doesn’t it just doesn’t it just sits why
so let’s drop him through the gap let’s
get him going are we ready one two three guys
smash the smithereens italy set off the lights
oh is that the idea it’s meant to be
the alarm system or something is that
what it alerts zerg that someone’s in his fortress
i’m gonna aim that that way i don’t trust
that in a million years to not hit me in the
face kids don’t try this at home there’s a wild
ride in the wilderness say goodbye little robot
that’s so cool i’m such a little
geek i love it oh that’s fun
but anyway let’s close it up
and reveal the zed berserk
it’s a fun little playset right are you guys

i would really like to know i really i i do love
the toy box stuff i think it’s cool i love the
design style but then again i was a massive
fan of disney infinity when that came out too
so for me this is just a massive win and the
fact that it’s zerg i need to put zerg on
off camera it’s not gonna sit but yeah the
fact that it’s zerg for me really makes it
oh and before we go we do have one other thing
this is the little catapult you can either
place it in this little holder and use it
as a if you get in the right spot come on
i can’t work out kids gets done
there
there we go so it should just slot into there
like that so you can use it as an actual
and it’s based on the astro blaster
look so you can use that as a static
thing it does fire out another
little projectile eat this zerg
that just does fire out and you can or you can
even take it off the actual base and it does have
a little home up here as well there’s a little peg
here that you can just slot him into so there’s
two places where you can put the little astro
blaster i kind of like it as a static little thing
i’m tempted to have um i’m going to put woody
or something on this toy box as well i’m tempted
with it being toy story i’m tempted to put
sorry woody or something with it and have
them fire in the cannon at the little monster i
want some little green aliens now i really need
to find out which of the characters got
re-released with the little green aliens
need to grab those because some little green
aliens look nice on here as well but again
like said i’m not sure if i think they’re i think
they’re classed as pizza planet i don’t think
they’re even classed as buzz but who knows guys

them with all the marvel stuff i haven’t quite
decided yeah pride in place got a little hope
