Police Story 1985 Review Recensione Jackie Chan 警察故事系列 Asian Movie Reviews (With Eng Sub)

Hi guys, I’m Emakotov from Asianmovielife.com,
welcome to a new review.
Today we are talking about an incredible film, above all
for all Jackie Chan fans. We are talking about Police Story.
Following a police raid, a powerful man
drug boss is arrested mainly
thanks to a policeman who distinguished himself
during operations.
The name of that policeman is Chan-ka kui.
An important witness for the key trial
it must be protected and it will be Ka-Kui
to be chosen for this position.
Following a murder, he will be blamed
and hunted by his own colleagues, it will arise
a race to escape the police force
and return the culprit to justice.
Police Story from 1985 is produced by Golden
Harvest is directed by Jackie Chan.
It is practically a showreel of all its
ability that he shows on the screen for
the first time in all its magnificence.
If you like stunt action movies
crazy, stunt, incredible racing and fighting
you can’t not have seen this movie.
Police Story sets a quality standard
very high in the fight choreography,
as had never been seen in his productions
previous.
Everything goes in favor of his Stunt Team, one
professional team that follows him from the beginning
the

start of his career.
Here in particular they create choreographies
of combat choreographed to the millimeter.
As for the impact that this film
has had in modern productions, just think
to scenes like those of the slum at the beginning
of the film, which is re-proposed by Michael Bay
in Bad Boys II, or the homage that comes with it
does Stallone, a great friend of Jackie, who resumes
the scene where the bus stops shooting in
air, while in Stallone’s film his character
a truck.
The film is an incredible tour de force, let’s talk about the
scenes that are still being reviewed
today.
Just think of scenes like the one you use
an umbrella to cling to a bus,
all the fast paced fights the film is littered with, right down to the point
most spectacular of the scenes taking place in the mall, with all the bad guys
who want to kill him, who defends himself
struggling to then get to the mythical jump
in the void attached to a pole while destroying
lights and decorations.
A Jackie Chan therefore in a state of grace that
puts all his effort both behind and
in front of the camera, to deliver
a product that will remain over time and work
still to be seen many times.
Unfortunately in Italy this film is never
released if not directly on DVD in 2006
and on that occasion it was voiced.
The luxury treatment is different
reserved abroad in many editions
on DVD and Bluray that will take place during the
time.
In this regard, just for those who never have
seen this film, I recommend seeing it in
incredible packaging of the product bluray
from Eureka, an English company with a catalog
a very large film that restores and proposes
in incredible editions.
This film will be so important to
Jackie’s career over time
will bring sequels, and other inspired products
to the original saga.
In particular, the second chapter is remembered because it is even more high-level for
what concerns the action, but of this
films we will probably talk about in another
review.
To conclude, I definitely invite you to watch it
because we are talking about a crazy movie,
incredible, which is rarely seen in others
production.
Jackie Chan manages to do things that no
actor perhaps ever managed to do in this
manner, focusing them in one big
movies like a frenzied race from the beginning
in the end, where the character of Ka Kui arrives
literally upset and therefore distorted
from its funniest essence it has at the beginning
of the film.
So I salute you and refer you to the next
review, if you have any advice to
