RAW: Denver hospital gives update on condition of East High School staff members

So we received 2 males in serious condition today and one of them is in the operating room as you heard earlier from the mayor, and the other one is being cared for in serious condition. Where were they shot exactly? Do we know that information? I don’t have that information. And what can you tell us about that? Walking this morning, talking to police, still in serious condition. And our level 1 trauma center is responding as we do for these types of traumas and we are equipped to respond quickly and that is what we are here for.

Do you have any idea what the mayor talked about when he came to see who was shot? I don’t know that. I think he was responding to the information he had from the medical team to be a Level 1 trauma patient. What does that entail? Well, it means when we are. A level 1 trauma center, it means that we can respond quickly. We have all the appropriate specialties on site to be able to respond to anything from a head trauma to a serious chest wound to gunshot wounds. And that is what we’ve been doing for

the last 160 years. They came here. Well, they were. They had been shot and they now need to have exploratory work to find out, to

repair the injuries that have been done. Where exactly were they? Well, I don’t have all that information right now. About all the information we can release. Connie Savor price, Conn i.e SAVORPRICE. And my title is Chief Medical Officer, Denver health office. Thank you, honey.
