Reseña del Libro Martes con Mi Viejo Profesor / Book Review: Tuesdays with Morrie

Being busy thinking about things like growing professionally, making more money or buying a new car we forget to live with more humanity.

I am Alan Alanis and what I am telling you is about the book that I am going to recommend you, I thank Ekkoni Cultural Communications
for inviting me to collaborate in this video
in which I am going to share 4 reasons to read the book “Tuesdays with Morrie” by Mitch Albom.
We start with reason # 1:
It is a very interesting book.
I can tell it is a novel based on real events, in which Mitch Albom, a successful sports journalist in the United States,
tells the story of how he met Morrie he’s favorite college professor.
Mitch Albom tells in the book, sometime after his university experiences, he found out that his favorite professor had a very serious disease
called amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,
so Mitch decided to travel to the city where Morrie lived and they began to meet every Tuesday,
and every Tuesday Morrie would tell his student (Mitch Albom) a lesson about life.
Reason # 2: The book reminds us of our favorite professors.
We all once had a professor like Morrie who taught us his subject with passion and

who also shared some life lessons,
transmitting a lot of positive energy and love.
Reason # 3: reading this book inspires us to share or reflect on life lessons.
For example, me as a professor, it motivates me to share this type of teaching with my students.
To reflect on important life situations such as those that Morrie deals with, the current world, emotions,
the relationship with a partner, forgiveness, among others that are so important in life.
Reason # 4: The book is extremely touching, I share with you that when I read it for the first time I cried like a baby,
I fell in love with Morrie’s life situation wishing I was like him and remembering my own professor.
So I warn you that you may cry while reading this book but you are going to enjoy it for sure.
For these 4 reasons I recommend that you read this book “Tuesdays with Morrie” by Mitch Albom,
this novel was so successful that they made a movie based on it
that is also very good so I also recommend it.
I say goodbye to you with 4 questions that at some point in the book Morrie asked Mitch.
Have you found someone to share your heart with?
Are you contributing something to your community?
Are you at peace with yourself?
Are you trying to be as human as possible?
If these questions connect with your soul, you are surely living to the fullest, my dear friend.
I am Alan Alanis, I invite you to follow me on all my social media and also to follow Ekkoni Cultural Communications, I send you a big hug and many blessings.
