Review – "Cheyenne Capillary Cartridges"

Hi and welcome back to a new review – today about the cheyenne capillary cartridges
They came out recently and I’ve been able to test them a few times now
Here is such a module. From a distance they are very similar to the standard needles from Chr
But if you look closely, you can see the windings in the tip at the front – like a screw profile that winds from bottom to top
These coils are intended to ensure that the paint flows off more slowly and that a more stable paint reservoir is evidently formed
This benefit costs around 10 euros more per pack. Everyone has to assess the cost-benefit factor for themselves
Now the big question: do the modules do what is promised – I would say: partly
According to marketing, a color flow that is up to 10 times longer is advertised. this is of course marketing and applies in individual cases under ideal conditions
I think 10x is a bit excessive. at the beginning you have to adjust yourself when testing, because you have your own rhythm when filling the needle to avoid an empty needle
You can generally tell that the needle absorbs the color more and also lasts longer. The paint flows off a little more slowly
And if you know it: if you

sometimes start tattooing, there can sometimes be an uncontrolled drainage of the paint and you then have a lot of paint on your skin
I had little or no that with this needle. The slower drainage effect then of course still depends on the color. I use a very thin paint
With a very thick color, this can be a bit of a hindrance – then you have to adjust the way you work a little – which is not difficult.
Overall, I was able to work longer with the paint reservoir, but for me personally my work was not so optimized that it is worth so much more money to me per pack.
But you also have to see that a manufacturer has thought about optimization again. Other manufacturers are just stupid copying to make money, and such development work comes at a price and expense
And ultimately, the research was productive, because the effect is noticeable and certainly useful for one or the other user. And ultimately, the research was productive, because the effect is noticeable and certainly useful for one or the other user
I particularly like that this uncontrolled flow of paint is apparently prevented at the beginning
However, the effect of the machine’s angle of inclination also had a much greater effect on me. every now and then I had to pierce steeper – and that is generally unfavorable – with the needle, however, in some cases there was no color flow at all.
Conclusion: The needles do what they should. Not to the extreme extent that maybe advertised – but for me it has a positive side effect and can definitely make work easier, enable clean work and save time
