THE CONJURING 1-7 – Movie Review #shorts

All 7 Conjuring movies reviewed in under 60s
GO
The Conjuring: James Wan makes it look good,
but there’s not much memorable substance
to it.
It’s got all the cliches of a family moving,
creepy house, kids don’t want to move, dogs
sense danger, they don’t leave, creepy toys,
and one too many jump scares.
Annabelle: Gag, the rules make even less sense
to the point where you don’t care about
anyone and you can’t help but be bored.
It’s the conjuring-verse’s best idea that’s
completely squandered
The Conjuring 2: James Wan at least tries
here and delivers great cinematography, yet
it doesn’t make up for the confusing demon
rules that drain any tension from the creepier
parts.
I am interested in seeing a Crooked Man movie
though.
Annabelle Creation: This is so frustratingly
stupid because everyone reacts the opposite
of how real people act which pulls me out
completely and you feel no sympathy for anyone.
The Nun: I don’t see why this is any better
or worse than the others in the universe,
I liked the small cast, the location, but
no part was scary to me. only enjoyable because
we made fun of it the whole time.
The Curse of La Llorona: The usual lazy demon
jump scare horror movie

they pump out to keep
the lights on, Linda Cardellini is great but
Raymond Cruz was surprisingly really bad.
You’ll forget about it tomorrow.
Annabelle Comes Home: My favorite of the universe,
which isn’t saying much, this was enjoyable
because of the exploration of so many interesting
concepts and villains.
Great small cast, the actresses do a good
job,
Overall, average rating of 1.7/5 stars, now
look: these are fun to watch with other people
and it’s fun to jump and be scared, I guess
my point is there’s a lot of other better
demon horror movies out there but are written
so much better, go explore and give others
a chance.
