Xiaomi QIN F22 Pro Review // Smart Dumbphone

before starting a review on the xiaomi F22 Pro I want to tell you that I have a giveaway going on and it will close next Monday it’s open to International participants as well as the mastic ones here in the United States it has quite a range of devices it has very smart ones and very basic ones so check the one that you want to win and I will be shipping it to you probably by next week so make sure to enter the giveaway and to share it if you want to help somebody else to get

a basic device or a more basic device on the one that they have right now but let’s get into the xiaomi F22 Pro number one I want to talk about the hardware of the device it does have a bunch of things that are useful for those of you who are looking for a transition device it does have a nice camera it also has a front-facing camera right here it does have a very large screen compared to the F21 Pro or the f30 for Americans This has quite a massive difference it is quite larger and also

it does have the ability of course to have the touchscreen like the F21 uh but it is way larger than the F21 at this task now this may be good for

those of you who have Vision needs or maybe larger hands personally I prefer the f21s size just because it allows me to not be tethered into the screen but the F22 is definitely larger and probably you’re going to use a little bit more now you can install pretty much all the apps that you want you also have the Play Store available to you right there

you can download as many apps as you want since this it comes in two configurations it comes in a configuration that does not have Google services and it comes in a configuration that does have Google services so if you want to have Google apps like Android auto like you know Google messages or whatever it is that you use for work then this device does have that ability if you purchase the um Google version now this device is mostly compatible internationally but here in the United States it is compatible with T-Mobile now that is a caveat

for that it is compatible with T-Mobile but not in every area not in every market so make sure to check the bands of this device and see if they correlate with the bands that you use in your area otherwise you’re going to be buying something that’s not going to be very reliable but it does get the Wi-Fi it does get 4G LTE and volte so I haven’t had any issues with it I’ve used it for the past two weeks and it has been a joy to use but again a little bit large the screen I

prefer and that’s why my SIM card lives now on the F20 or f30 for the American version just because it’s a little bit smaller and I’m not finding myself watching videos or doing everything but again you can load many different things so for example you can have a browser and right here you can type with a massive keyboard if you wanted on the touchscreen or you can change it to a k9 keyboard right there in English and you can also type with the keys so for example type hello here oh sorry hello right there and

I can search and you can compose your text messages like that without having to have a massive keyboard but if you want a keyboard for Google typing um or voice typing rather sorry for that now you also have the ability to do so I prefer having the ability to do voice typing so that is what I I kept it right here and as you see right there it does have the ability to voice type because you can use all of the engines for voice typing since it has the Google Play services now if you get

the non-google Play services version you can also load that on the um on this device via the gboard so gboard doesn’t need Google Play services to work with the voice to type engine so again it does it by Factory it brings a couple of like apps like a calculator a browser things of that nature you have a sound recorder right there you have music a calendar things are very basic but you can load as many apps as you want again this is a transition device it’s not a full down phone but I’ve enjoyed using it

it works very reliably and the battery life lasts for a very long time as you see right there I have 20 percent and I believe I’ve been using it for the past three four days on this charge so if you use it minimally you can make it last about four days but on a regular use or moderate use or heavy use you’re going to be running through one to two days two to three days or something like that this is my experience as well on this device it’s a little bit smaller it has less battery

or less battery capacity and on my f30 or F21 whichever you want to call it this device also gets me you know very good like two to three days battery life with moderate use calls text messages podcasts things of that nature but I’ve enjoyed using the xiaomi F 22 Pro and I want to show a couple of things that always come up like if you can load a launcher yes you can you can download whatever you want uh let’s just download any launchers and you can customize it this is full Android this is everything uh

Nova Launcher there you go if you want to make it faster more Snappy say battery whatever it is you can install pretty much anything you want as you see there Nova 7 it makes it look completely different um but of course you have to make it your preferred launcher but right there dark light whatever it is that you want to use Play Store assistant you can configure this device to do anything you want for all the apps that you have now I want to compare it uh size wise and feature wise with a little bit

of a bigger phone so here we have the follow phone 22 this is a massive device and as you see of course this is a way larger screen way larger device the the design of this device is very nice compared to this one but as you see it is it’s almost there like the the size the physical size of the device it’s almost there with a smartphone so if you bring an iPhone or something like that it will be very comparable so that’s why I personally prefer the xiaomi F21 or the f30 I think the

smaller screen will not allow you to be so quote unquote addicted to using it so I prefer that size of the device now I think it’s an excellent device the F22 is very good and it does the job it does have a of course SIM card ejector there no micro SD card no any expandable storage but it does bring a very sizable 64 gigs of storage right here so I don’t think you’ll have issues you know using it it does use uh let me show you the software version it does use Android 12. so it

is pretty well updated and it will run pretty much any app that you throw at it and of course you can have the Google version or the non-google version you have accessibility settings interactions you have a talk back if you want to use that you can load it switch access accessibility menus and different things like that so again it’s a very customizable device it’s a full Android device if you want T9 you will have to do some configurations if you want to use the keyboard for text messaging the text messaging experience is very similar very

useful um and you can also have multimedia messages group messaging right there so again it’s a very capable device very good as a transition device but if you’re looking for something that is maybe smaller that is not going to capture your attention as much I recommend the F21 or the f30 if you’re here in the United States once it’s released um and again that’s about it for this device it’s a very good option for those of you looking for a transition device something that doesn’t have the full screen it has a keyboard it makes you

use it less and of course you know internationally it will work very well and here in the United States only with T-Mobile if you have any questions about this device or any of the other devices that I have reviewed make sure to put a comment in in the comments and I will be interacting with you guys thank you for watching thank you for your viewership and I will see you on the next video
