NEET 2024 Expected CUT OFF🔥|| Dr Aman Tilak, MBBS, AIIMS New Delhi

Hi everyone! This is Dr. Aman Tilak. Finally, NEET 2024 is over! I talked with a few students who came out of the examination hall, few found, especially Physics and Chemistry’s portion a bit lengthy, on the other hand, a few student’s paper went very well. Few had problems in

time management. We will talk about the NEET 2024’s expected cut off for a government medical college. Basically, cut off depends on 3 main things. 1st: No. of students appearing in the exam. 2nd: Paper difficulty level. 3rd: No. of seats available for the exam you are appearing in. Here,

the major factor is played by the No. of students appearing in an exam, this year. Do you know why? 18.7 Lakh students appeared in the NEET 2022 exam. 2 lakhs appearing students increased in NEET 2023, that is, an 11% increase in students were recorded. If I talk about

NEET 2024, then over 25 lakh students registered for the NEET exam. That means, more than 4.25 lakh students registered than the previous year. That means, an approx 20% increase in the no. of students appearing for the NEET exam has increased. If I talk about, If I go a

bit back in previous times, talk about cut-offs, and decent ranks, like 4000-5000 when it was time of NEET 2016, then 4k-5k rank was obtained in 520 marks approx. If I go 3-4 years fast- forward, then in NEET 2019, then for the

same rank (4k-5k), 100 more marks were

increased. It required nearly 620 marks for this rank. If I again do it a bit fast-forward, then for the same rank, you had to achieve 650 marks. Again, 10-15 marks increased in the cut-off of NEET 2023. Then, you had rank 4800th rank nearly at 660 marks., nearly. Now,

what about NEET 2024? Look, I have told you 1 thing about it, the no. of students appearing in the examination. For a given rank, your marks are increasing over the years. But, the 2nd good thing is, that, the government medical college’s seats have also increased a lot, over

the past few years. That is a good news. Cut-off depends on it too. At the end of the day, getting a government medical college matters to you. So in the end, all of these factors will play their part. The conclusion is, in NEET 2024, if you get 610

marks, plus or minus 10 to15 marks, then you can expect a government medical college. Now, let us talk about those students who will get 1st 625 plus marks, 2nd, 600-625 marks, and 3rd those students who are getting below 600 marks in NEET 2024. This is when you will

cross-check your paper with an answer key. please do cross-check. A few people thinks when the exam’s result will come, then we will see. No, cross-check your answers with the answer key. It will be released soon. It has not released till now, but will come soon. If you see

this video later, then maybe you have already cross-checked your marks. Those who are getting marks more than 625, you don’t need to worry. You should relax, Netflix and Chill, or travel outside, with Parents or family. Do whatever you want to. Your selection is confirmed. Those students who are

getting between, 600-625 marks, I would say to them, hopefully, you will get a government medical college, if not in the 1st round, then maybe in the mop-up round, or you can get any government college in the state medical college, or based on your category. But, at the same

time, don’t stop studying. Keep the consistency maintained, by studying 3-4 hours a day. So that, in case you don’t get a college, then it may not come out, and that you have stopped studying. That is what I will suggest to you. Now, I am addressing to those students

who have got mars less than 600. Out of them, the 1st one are those, who are in the range of 500-600 marks. I would suggest to those students, that please study very well. There is hardly any chance that you will get a government medical college. Then it would

be a great thing. But then, only stop studying for NEET 2025. The 2nd category students are those who got marks below 500. Students, 1st of all, please analyze things, that what are the things you did wrong, because of which, you are getting marks less than 500. I would

like to ask you a question here, did you study as hard in the last 1 year as you did in the last 1 month? No, isn’t it. There were some mistakes. Please analyze it. If I will ask you the next question here, the amount of hard work with

which you studied in the last 1 month, with the same hard work, consistency, passion, if you kept studying like this, for the next 1 year, then do you feel, that you can crack the NEET exam next year? I can guarantee you, that you will be sitting in 1

of the top-most medical colleges, if with the same passion that you did study for the last 1 month, if you continue it till NEET 2025, without a break, then I promise, that, maybe we will be sitting together for an interview. Maybe we will be talking about, like how

did you take a drop and crack AIIMS? Now, 1st you analyzed things. The 2nd thing, coaching, and guidance is important, But at the same time, I would say, out of 100 students batch in coaching, only 2-3 students get selection, and 97-98 students do not get selection. So, the

major role-playing in your selection, is not coaching but that is self-study. Just taking admission in coaching does not help. No matter you take any good coaching like PW, online or offline, Akaash, Allen, etc. Yes, it is important to take good coaching. But, even after that, if you take

out time for your self- study, then only you will get selection otherwise no. Now, after self-study, there is 1 more thing important, which is question practice. This time, many students faced the time management problem, in Physics and Chemistry. It is obvious that your grip on question practice was

not so strong. There were some scarcity in the question practice. That is what you are preparing for. Look, studying is 1 thing. Understanding is the 2nd. Applying it actually on exam paper is the 3rd and very important thing. When you practice the question many times, then you understand

the 4th thing, which is at a different level. That is, the mindset of the examiner. that what is the examiner actually trying to ask you, through any question. When you practice too many questions, then only you get to understand the mindset of the examiner. And then, many times,

even when you don’t have the complete knowledge of the question, even then, you get the right answer. If you keep studying for the next 1 year, with the same passion, with which you were studying for the last 1 month, then I promise, that you will be sitting in
