some breaking news though that we are following at this hour This is a tweet coming in from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department as they say that they are responding to preliminary reports of an active shooter. on the campus of the University. of Nevada there over in Las Vegas. near beam Hall they say there does appear to be quote. multiple victims at this time. They urge people to avoid the area and say they will have more information. soon. now the university itself. if UNLV tweeting out this right here saying that University Police. continue to respond

to an active shooter in it they say continue to shelter in place a lot of information right now. has not been provided. just yet. So we have the preliminary details coming in from the Las Vegas Metro Police. Department. It looks like we may have had a shot that just popped up. on our screen here. I’m working to figure out if that is what it is, But again we do have information. information that is coming. Coming in at this hour here saying that police are responding to preliminary reports of a quote active shooter on the campus

of UNLV right near beam Hall. That is the University of Nevada They are in Las Vegas. saying that there appears to be quote multiple victims. at this time. They say please avoid the area and they will provide more information.

But again, you can see all of those flashing lights as there is this heavy police presence here at this hour again. We know that police say Las Vegas Police. specifically that they are responding to an active shooter. report. at the University of Nevada. And this is apparently over at beam Hall there at the University of

Nevada in Las Vegas. You can see kind of a wide shot that is showing up on the screen right now. Just how many vehicles are out there and several agencies as well because you have University Police You also have the Las Vegas Metro Police. Department and you can see the Clark County Fire Department It’s likely the sheriff’s office will be there as well. So a huge police. response at this hour to reports of a quote active shooter at the University of Nevada they are in Las Vegas.
