I’ve sung the praises for Rolex mother of Pearl 
dials for some time, but I’m doing it once more  
to show you this incredible looking combination 
and really to highlight how no two are the same.  
This is a naturally occurring material. So 
these are two identical models. This is a  
16233. And both of these with a factory mother of 
Pearl diamond dial. But as you can see, depending  
on where you hold it in the light, both of these 
can look very different. Whether you get notes of  
gold here on the left one or some more greens and 
purples here on the right, or maybe other people  
just see different things. It’s all in the eye of 
the beholder. And that’s what you love about these  
is that no two are ever going to be alike. No 
matter how many mother of Pearl does you come
