Los Angeles Chargers primed to win division matchup vs. Broncos | Pro Football Talk | NFL on NBC

I’m back in the studio here. No sign of Chris Simms, although there’s always a chance that he’s going to come swooping in unexpectedly and put that giant meat hook on top of my head and just squeeze it like a grape hopefully that won’t be happening over the course of the next two hours Mi Simmons. Joining me live for a.m. local time. Thanks and welcome as always to you mi six weeks in. Well, we got one More game tonight. Broncos Country, let’s ride. But six weeks in with one game to play. I still don’t know whether

we really have a sense of where this is all heading and I like it, but we’re starting to see at least a little. I think a little separation top and bottom in the NFL. Yeah we are. And frankly I mean the two best teams in the league I think played yesterday and I don’t mean the Eagles in the Cowboys and then you’ve got probably what’s the third best team in the We won and stayed undefeated but we’ll see how this thing continues to shake out. I will be in attendance tonight at. So fi Stadium to

see the people writing and those Broncos. And we’ll see if you know some more horses, need to go to the glue

factory, right in Staley, makes another Force to 4,000 steak. Yeah, I had to sneak it in there. Well, you know, there is a Fascination about the Denver Broncos and this is more of a Monday night preview than you ever get on this show. But it’s true since we’re in The neighborhood and since Mi is going to be there in person, it’s a morbid kind of rubbernecking. You can’t look away from whatever it is and

how much of it is Russell Wilson and the shoulder being, some sort of a calculated Rodney Dangerfield. Oh my arm, it’s broken. Excuse how much of it is Nathaniel. Hackett is so far over his skis. He doesn’t even know he had skis on. It’s all Eating it comes up against a team that is very good but has this horrible habit of deliberately shooting itself in the foot and thinking it’s not going to hit a toe. Very good. I think is a bit of an overstatement if we’re going to talk about the Los Angeles potential to

be very good potential Tippy, very good sure. Yes. I mean they have a very good quarterback and for all the things we say about Justin Herbert and how good he’s played and this is not necessarily a knock on him. A team is not one enough, right? Even when he was a rookie, they weren’t winning enough. You know, you go into that second year and he gets Brandon Staley. They don’t win enough, they they have He’s horrible you know Dropout performances when they don’t need them like going to Houston last year and losing to that team.

A couple weeks ago they lose to Jacksonville at home here in Los Angeles. So I’m curious to see how they’re going to perform tonight but this is a team that they really ought to be because the Denver Broncos quite frankly have not shown an ability to score points and if you are the Los Angeles Chargers you have. So we’ll see what happens tonight. And that is your Monday night preview. Presented by Elmer’s Glue. The only glue made of Aging NFL quarterbacks
