Nearly 2 years after Olympics, Russian skater Kamila Valieva disqualified
It’s been almost two years now. The US is set to be named Olympic team figure skating champions for the Beijing Games. Russian star Camilia Vale was officially disqualified today after testing positive for a banned heart medication during the games. So the Russians will be stripped of the gold medal which was never presented in second place. Team USA will be elevated to first valva is suspended from international competition through next year.
