football uh anything anything else to note from last week in the preseason uh people have asked me for my official comment on the kayvon thibodeaux oh yeah legal alleged legal block my only issue with it i don’t know i i don’t have an issue with the hit it sucks uh it’s obviously unnecessary for the cleats to grip that firmly into the turf uh but uh and shout out to to turf because yeah i mean that literally uh middle school-aged daughter had the same exact thing happen where this the cliches stick but my issue with it
is randy moss thought you raised a man a man doesn’t do that and then walk past and not even look at the carnage he created so thaddeus moss clear piece of oh wow randy moss dog uh getting mossed means now getting cowardly uh chop blocked by a tight end who might not make the roster and is just joe burrows fuckboy all right moving on to actual picks we can make and sean i figured since we’re getting close to the regular season i’d bring up and bring up some betting splits too start getting in the habit
of uh you know looking at all the data thursday night we got a nice game here honestly uh it looks good on the screen i remember these were some of my favorite madden sims uh the green bay packers shout out to the broad stop beautiful kenosha wisconsin minus one taking on the kansas city chiefs plus 100 on the money line minus 120 for the packers 36 the total first game kicking off is between two teams and coaches who really have zero to give about winning a game but i i think andy reid as of late
has kind of cared i mean he played patrick mahomes like for a number of series well here’s my take on this jordan love are you playing him to trade him no you’re hiding him to trade him no they i think they play him just because they know they’re stuck with him i and they they seemingly have played him um you know he played a decent amount in that in that saints game and looked okay uh that being said i i think i’m going uh i’m going uh i’m going chiefs here i have to go chiefs
yeah i think there’s enough i’ve seen out of the chiefs in this preseason again they really laid down for the bears week one but partly maybe because of the bears defense i wouldn’t be surprised if we see my homes again for this game and the fact that you know like last time when they played the commanders i i was thinking commanders was a good player but chiefs came out and you know they got out to a big enough lead that even the commanders couldn’t come back on it um so i’m going chiefs here and you
know again it’s pre-season so take it with a grain of salt but this this certainly is a game that stands out where you’re seeing a tremendous amount of money being bent on the packers to move the number right the pac the packers were not the favorite in this game when it opened so uh we’re gonna take kansas city we’re gonna we’re gonna fade the early a week steam and uh yeah 5 15 on the west coast two we got a double header it’s not really a double header because the games are on at the same
time but we get a little niners texans this game not as uh aesthetically pleasing when it comes to the uniforms and the colors but boy kyle shanahan and the flat brim that and trey lance honestly trey lance wears that black niners unique nicely so i do think he he wears a trim uniform i still don’t think he can play football but he looks good in a football uniform minus four for the niners what are you doing here minus 180 on the money line texans plus 150 50 and a half is the total this is a
no-brainer money line for me yeah competition when you have bad teams you have a lot of you have a lot of scrap you have a lot of a lot of meat on the bone for these guys to to get at in the last game i mean if you look around the league you want to find a team that has a lot of spots that you know that there’s a lot of difference between the beat writers final 53 that tells me there’s gonna be a lot of competition so i i i’m shocked to see the number
where it is right here yeah i don’t know what we’re doing with it i i think it was because last week uh the 49ers were like a big dog against the vikings and then one outright by uh ten points you can’t you can’t do that houston again they didn’t look uh they didn’t look amazing but ended up getting a nice win against the uh against the rams there and they got it late like they’re kyle allen jeff driscoll again these are these are not great quarterbacks by any means but they they actually balled out in
the preseason kyle allen is better than the average guy playing at the end of these preseason games i would i would grade that david blow boyle tim boyle shout out to hard i would grade them above nate sudfell and brock purdy so uh brock purdy’s interesting but yeah i mean we all know how complex that offense is up there and i think and i think texans for the most part to your point are playing to win uh lovey seems to have them fired up you know they’ve uh they beat the rams they beat the saints
like i think i think they’re trying to win these games uh i think when you’re a losing team and a losing franchise like as stupid as it sounds lovey smith came in and said well we have to establish winning culture you saw how much it meant to detroit to win a game uh to start getting that what was it get the dirt out of your pants i’ve never had that much sand or dirt in my pants so i don’t know what what dan campbell gets into but i think there is something to that so yeah
lovey smith trying to win this is money line uh potential let’s move over to saturday sean 4 p.m on the west coast buffalo heads to carolina minus 6 for the panthers minus 165 on the money line plus 135 for the bills 37 is the total uh again like why why why are we is this a matte rule i mean if if matt rule and the carolina panthers were dogs i would love them in this spot i don’t even know because the bills i mean uh look out cause they they could be the next baltimore ravens
they seem they have barclay i mean they don’t have any trash quarterbacks on the roster no they really don’t i just i’m giving a compliment to case kingdom and matt barkley very backhandedly and and case keenum you know that that first game against the uh um against the colts they were maybe fortunate to get that win in the cover but they had some bad breaks with the turnovers but then last week against the broncos they destroyed them 42-15 they really put it on them again the bills have shown their hand they’re a team that cares
about pre-season and carolina i don’t know necessarily if they do like you’re not going to get rich laying six points in the preseason with unless you like the panthers unless it’s the ravens but yeah exactly and josh allen could play i mean he he played last game i don’t know how long but even if they just get him in for that first couple series get a touchdown you don’t play next week if i’m if i’m a fan and and the the parent there’s i i this spread makes no sense to me the panthers just lost
matt corral for the season so like whatever depth quarterback they were looking to play who is that guy i have no idea well it’s pj walker dude pj watson right so like i kind of like pj but i mean the bill’s quarterbacks they’re back sam darnold’s gonna get that tape so he can get on his third team this is a great play let’s go 5 p.m saturday chargers head into the new orleans saints -3 minus 165 on the money line plus 135 for the chargers 37 is the total rare favorite i’m gonna i’m gonna pound

your job and you just don’t you do the very very bare minimal and like don’t do anything extra you’re quiet quitting you want a quick aside uh i so not knowing that that was what it was called i had a dude quiet quit on me one time and then then when it came time to fire his ass he went to went to hr and complained that he was being targeted they’ll do anything these lazy little pieces of j i call i i tell the kids all the time jello that’s this whole generation just soft yeah
i’m i’m taking the saints here okay are you taking the saints here oh oh sorry i was uh i was busy on my quiet quitting quest okay uh yeah i mean chargers they’ve been i don’t think saints are all in five against the spread in the last five preseason games that’s what i’m worried about but what are the chargers done chargers haven’t done either they haven’t had much if you’re the chargers and they’re making you fly to new orleans are you not boycotting the out of this game like is andy dalton gonna play i don’t
know why you know what i can’t do it because i i bet on the i bet on the saints uh i i i bet on the saints last week and they it was just way too scary no ian book they didn’t they didn’t play andy dalton at all i bet on the saints thinking that andy dalton would get some time i’m going chargers plus three i like your travel theory but i can’t back e and poke it’s a it’s a good theory that’s a good uh good stance to have all right another 5 p.m game
the seahawks they’re heading to dallas what peter say and the seahawks are laying seven points minus 300 on the money line dallas is hilarious 40 spread 37 is the total i’m i’m so much so i’m gonna go back uh to win bet and double check that i didn’t uh do something to screw up the number nope it’s accurate all right so it is a loophole because it’s the preseason but i think we have to take the cowboys here yes that is a dis seattle looked really bad they were trying in their bed no that’s the
thing they’re trying to care about pre-season and they still haven’t been able to get it done um poor pete carroll yeah drew locke didn’t miss last week because of covin but is that really going to swing why is why is this drew lock is is expected to play most of the game that’s the handicap drew lock his favorite look drew seven-point road favorite can’t lay seven and and i don’t think it happens again it was probably an outlier but dallas’s return uh kevontae turpin had two kickoff and a punt return for a touchdown i don’t
know if that happens again so uh yeah it’s gonna be cooper rush and ben dinucci so mccarthy’s nephew but danucci’s gonna be getting some time this is really hard but i think you have to take the team getting seven points yeah and and kevontae turpin is not on this roster so he’s like he could bomb he’s a legit star man like someone someone’s got to take a stab on him maybe the chief’s picking him up no you don’t think you think they’re gonna cut him the guy had two return touchdowns is he on the you
think he’s made the roster i think i think you figure out a way to get a guy like that here’s my prediction they try to sneak him onto the practice squad and someone snakes them the houston texans all right next up little uh little patriot love here belichick getting to play tummy sticks with one of his former coaches heading to vegas well i wonder if they’re going to be at the table throwing dice ahead of time josh mcdaniels and the raiders laying a point minus 120 on the money line plus 100 for the patriots 37
and a half is the total ah this is tough uh you know a movable force versus uh a big rock belichick pats are 8-0 against the spread uh last eight preseason games as dogs uh raiders five and one against spread last six preseason games as favorites but raiders have turned into both teams raiders are 10-2 against the spread and patriots are 10-3 against the spread in their last 12 and 13 games like they’ve both kind of turned into teams that care about the preseason care about covering because they don’t have tom brady anymore in new
england they have more competition i i mean look at the end of the day is this a full bail is this a full bailly zappy game yeah um i would i’m happy so here’s the quarterback match-up because if you if you just hear it out loud you know maybe we’re too close to bailey’s app but it’s a great season last year bailey’s happy looked good uh but this is a bailey zappy versus jared stidham and chase garber’s game who are you taking i’m taking bailey’s happy all day twice on saturday yeah he did throw a
pick last i don’t care though that dude and max jones did get in for uh eight attempts four completion 61 yards bailey zappy’s problem is he’s undersized right he he got it done in college and this is pre-season he’s not going against like full-blown nfl guys i i like new england it’s close this is probably i i don’t think this is going to make it into my lockport bailey’s happy should not be a dog against jared stinnow in any in any way uh does does really kind of suck so uh not not shocking and the
raiders are such an established veteran team on offense like this is they’re going to be playing the dudes i mean outside the roster you know well but then let’s like one final thing to before we cement the patriots josh jacob’s getting traded mcdaniels mcdaniels versus the brain trust that his mathematician joe judge call in place are we worried about that right we’re we’re picking but here’s here’s i think our loophole shot here’s our loophole they don’t scheme up in the preseason so base offense based defense yeah this is we’re actually okay i think so and

tell us about how um the eagles are a good bet here on the money line i don’t know not really i mean they don’t really particularly care i don’t really want to lay three and a half with this dolphins team but it’s another it fits my travel model the eagles got to be pissed this is a decently long trip yeah but they’ve been down there and then you know um but why why would you just do it get us good sweat like a hot yoga sweat and heat down there no but i mean they’ve been
doing the joint practices that’s what a lot a lot of this is going on i’m still i’m still calling it that these teams are traveling so far yeah i uh i’m going back and forth here i think this could be i just don’t see where miami should be laying three and a half the eagles aren’t a team that really cares about preseason but you know to that point gardner minshew’s been able to move the ball like i think them as a road favorite last week was the perfect time um to not take them i actually
we picked cleveland cleveland covered eagles won by one i feel like this is going to be a very similar low scoring game a lot of reeds and net um who do you like better gardner minchu carson strong reads in that or teddy bridgewater but teddy bridgewater didn’t look that great bridgewater skyler thompson tua i and i don’t think two will play at all this one so you’ll see you’ll see probably mostly skyler thompson right like what do you got to play teddy for he’s he’s going to be your backup you don’t need to see him
