'Vanderpump Rules' star Tom Schwartz visits GDLA+

you did to Ariana, I was like, you better get spend the rest of your life with Raquel. I got enough problems in my life. It’s just like I did not need this. My God, man. Ooh And the man with all the drums, with the toms is in the building. Tom Schwartz. Welcome, welcome. You’re having me. You’re our first guest on Good Day LA plus, you’re a plus one plus one today. Um this is a beautiful moment, by the way. That’s cruel and unusual. Making me listen to my own voice before we do this interview. Now

you feel nails on a chalkboard. No way. No, that’s really funny you say that because when I listen to my voice or watch myself, I kind of cringe. Do you do this? You’re cringing. Cringing? Well, tonight a lot of fans have been waiting. I’m part of the fandom pump community, okay? I am part of your welcome. Your support. I even got a text from a friend and a group text having a watch party for tonight. People make watch parties. They make drinks. Friends invite each other over this is the Super Bowl for Bravo . Now

how and where will you be watching and celebrating tonight? First of all, that’s high praise. I just want to restate it’s lovely to be here. Serious. I mean that it’s awesome

to be here. I am hyped, I’m in good spirits. The one on one north to the 405 tried to break my spirits this morning. Oh yeah? Yeah it’s a good day. It’s the goodest day. It’s a good day. L.A. season 11. We’re going to be having a watch party at Schwartz and Sandy’s tonight and Franklin Village. You guys are all invited, by the way. Thank

you. Seriously, if you want to come, I’ll be your. Bless you. Um, I might actually show up. Yes yes, it’s a big night. Yes. James is deejaying at sir, and we got a we got a little something at Tomtom, but, um, I’ll be at Schwartz. And Sandy’s tonight. Okay. 2.0. Okay. We were due for a revamp. A revitalized. We have coming. It’s like Schwartz and Sandy’s 2.0. Okay, we were due for a revamp. A revitalization. Let’s have a good business sense. Thank you. Yeah. I’ve never heard that before. Do you? Do first? Look at that.

Look at these. Whoever you hired for your content creator on on social media with over a million followers. Thank you. Yeah yeah. Um hum. I have a good mentor. Shout out to Lisa Vanderpump and Ken. Well, yeah. So we love that. And Greg, you’ve got her in your corner. You’re going to do pretty well. Yeah. So you’ve been doing reality TV for a while right? Here’s my question for you. Who do you like? Does there come a point where you you actually legitimately forget that you are on camera? Every single time? Do you? Yes They

become invisible to me. How long did it take for you to get to that point? They become invisible, visible to me, to sometimes great detriment to my, um, reputation. But honestly, after the first season, they just slowly disappear. They kind of dissipate and you forget they’re there. The filters come off and you sort of. There’s like this unspoken rule in reality TV, you kind of agree to be radically honest. Yeah. And make snap judgments and just let the feeling flow, you know? Oh um, yeah. Yeah. Here we are 11 seasons later. Oh, my God. Speaking

of letting the feelings flow. Yeah, there was no holding back on what you said right there. And what can we expect with the new season and all the drama, the tea that was spilled before your, um. It’s a doozy. It is a doozy. I don’t know if you guys are up to date on your Vanderpump. It’s hard to keep up sometimes. It’s a lot. Yeah. Are you annoyed? To be honest, how many times a week do you hear the word Sandoval? Um I’ve erased it from my lexicon. Right Uh, you know, it’s like, honestly, when

I hear that word, my brain just kind of goes numb, right? I have some sort of, like, brain rot from it. Um, but that’s that’s that’s in the past. We’re moving forward now, and I’m really hyped about the season. It’s so good. It’s raw, it’s gripping. It’s also funny. And there’s a lot of good lighthearted moments. And I just watched the first episode at a premiere party last week, and I. I laughed a lot and I cringed a lot too. Um, but, uh, it’s a really good season. Um, were you surprised at what made it

in and what didn’t? Um I mean, you’re there in the real, you know, experiencing the real thing, and then when you watch it, you’re like, oh, that’s what they chose, right? Yeah. I know, um, sometimes I feel like I have these great little speeches, you know, and they don’t make the as witty as I think I’m gonna be. And I’m just like, Tom, you’re better than that, man. I listen, I am on a Vanderpump TikTok and people will get in arguments over it. They’ll make special cocktails. People are really passionate about this show. Now. We’ve

seen you in the 310. We’ve seen you in the three, two, three. Are we going to see even a little bit of you in the 818? With the spin off of the Valley? Ooh, there may be a wow. Yeah. Wait, maybe a light cameo or two, but, um, scoop, I’m actually going to do Jax’s podcast after this. Um, I’m happy to say we’re still dear friends and, uh, I’ve, I’ve talked to one of the producers. It’s going to be solid. I’m really excited about the Valley. saying the. Yeah, a little bit, a little bit of

a crush? Okay Not not saying it. I love that we’re branching out to the Valley. Yes Shout out to Jackson you’re ever in the valley. There you go. So there you go. Well, listen, put the kettle on the stove if you want that tea, because season 11 of Vanderpump Rules airs tonight, 8 p.m. on Bravo. Has Andy Cohen texted you and said he can’t wait? Um, no. But he did give me a shout out the other day. We were at the Emmys and he said I looked fabulous. And Andy, that meant so much to me

because he’s like my sartorial icon. Inspiration So that meant a lot coming from Andy Cohen. Yeah, that’s the ultimate. That’s the Bravo Godfather right there. Exactly. That’s right. Yeah he’s daddy. He’s daddy. He is daddy. He he sees us seriously too. Okay. So since you made the trip, you were stuck on that freeway. You know, you got to put some time in here. We’re not going to let you just go. We’re going to have you hang out and weigh in on some stuff. We have a lot of questions for you. Still a lot of bar

etiquette is one of the things I want to talk to you about bar etiquette, like what you should do, shouldn’t do all the things should you ask for. If you want a heavy pour, let’s into it. Yeah yeah, yeah. Can unpack some trauma and trauma and drama. Yes Yeah. 20 years in the biz. Oh, man. All ig
