wait until he got free. Wait until he was ready to move on from the Titans, which certainly he did sing a very nice goodbye at the end of the season and waiting for the Ravens to pounce. And that’s exactly what they did. They they had the strongest offer, it seemed, for Derek Henry all the way throughout. Uh, upped their offer early this morning. Two sides got together. It is a two year deal worth up to $20 million $9 million guaranteed for Derrick Henry. Really nice deal for an older running back. And uh, you know the
fact that the Ravens get the sort of ground and pound super star big name running back to help in their offense, something something no doubt the Baltimore who really has sat out
might you might as well call that Florida north to be honest. Okay. You know, um, Lamar Jackson, Florida. Sure. Derek Henry. Florida. Zay flowers, Florida. To me, this reminds me a lot of the mark Ingram signing that they did a couple of years back where you get a running back out of uh, Alabama that won the Heisman. You kind of get him in. You know you bring it all together. This is this should terrify every team in the NFL. The fact that the Baltimore Ravens got to where they were last year with all the injuries
they had in their backfield, now you get a guy that’s been durable, um, a guy that is tough to tackle later in the year that fits the mold of the Baltimore Ravens. That ground and pound that Ian was talking about to go along with Lamar Jackson’s dynamic ability, throwing the football as we saw last year and running the football. This this is this is how you have to prepare to try to beat the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes. And so I love this move. I love it for Baltimore I love it for Derrick Henry.
