Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert's son passes away at 26
Sad news to report for you this morning. Nick Gilbert, son of Cavs owner Dan Gilbert, passed away yesterday. He was just 26 years old. Nick suffered from neurofibromatosis, A genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerve pathways anywhere in the body, and it has no known cure. The Cavaliers had dedicated ther 20/22/23 season to Nick. A funeral service will be held in Michigan on Tuesday.
