The £39 Blaupunkt 4 in 1 Breakfast Maker

A Breakfast Adventure with Blaupunkt 4-in-1 Breakfast Maker

Hello everyone, it’s Barry here. Today, we’re embarking on a culinary adventure with a 4-in-1 breakfast maker by Blaupunkt. Yes, the same Blaupunkt known for car stereos and audio systems. This gadget caught my eye after a tweet from Callum, and I couldn’t resist giving it a try.

Blaupunkt, once a reputable name in car audio, went bankrupt in 2016. Before its liquidation, the company became a managed brand name, and its products are now solely made in China. Despite the change, the brand still carries a certain appeal. This 4-in-1 breakfast maker (breakfast making machine), priced at 39 pounds, is not exactly cheap, but it promises a lot.

The gadget is called a blaupunkt breakfast maker / blaupunkt kitchen appliances / english breakfast maker because it has four different elements: a frying pan, an egg cooker, a saucepan, and a toaster. It feels more like a massive Screwball Scramble game than a kitchen appliance. The toaster has all the standard features: reheating, defrosting, cancelling, and browning control. The other elements are controlled by a heating element that is either on or off.

The first test was to cook a full breakfast. The heating element was a bit temperamental, going hot and cold without any control. The toaster, however, was impressive with its

quick cool down and warm-up times. Despite a few hiccups, I managed to whip up a hearty breakfast. The sausages were nicely charred, the bacon was lightly crisped, and the beans were warmed just right.

Next, I tried boiling eggs. This was a bit tricky as the eggs kept toppling over in the water. After a few attempts, I managed to get a medium-boiled egg. The egg was a bit raw, but it was still edible.

The final test was to make a McMuffin. I fried a pork patty, cooked an egg in a flower-shaped mould, and toasted a breakfast muffin. The result was a delicious McMuffin that was a hit.

In conclusion, the blaupunkt kitchen appliances / blaupunkt breakfast maker / english breakfast maker is a fun gadget to have in the kitchen. It has its quirks and limitations, but it does deliver on its promise. Whether you’re whipping up a full breakfast or just toasting a muffin, this gadget adds a bit of adventure to your morning routine.

Stay tuned for more food fun. Until next time, happy cooking!
