US House panel votes to publicly release report on Trump tax returns
The House Committee has voted to release six years worth of former President Trump’s tax returns. He was the only elected president in modern times not to reveal his returns. The Supreme Court ruled against his efforts to keep them a secret, and now all 24 Democrats in the House Ways and Means Committee voted in favor to release them. 16 Republicans voted against it, but only a few weeks remaining in charge. Democrats had very little time to review the documents. The committee says it will redact personal information.
