There’s a new phone & it’s a looker! It looks amazing, it’s the Vivo V29e. And this V29 series comes in a budget series. So this is the base variant in the V29 series. We’ll do its unboxing, first impressions & tell you all about it. We’ll also show you some unique things, so wait for that! Before opening the box, if you’re new here, then do hit SUBSCRIBE! People watch our unboxings but don’t subscribe, so subscribe right now! It’s a silver box with V29e written on it. And the magic happens when you hold this phone in your

hand. I’ll describe the feeling & we’ll talk about the phone. But, there’s a case here. Just look at this, you must be able to tell how slim it is! This is a very slim phone! As soon as you hold it in your hand, you get to know. Then you have documentation & more documentation. It has a 44W flash charger & a USB Type A to Type C charging cable. And of course, the humble sim card tool is kept aside. Because we’ll see how the tray looks. Alright, let’s look at the phone! This phone is artistic

red, just look! This is a looker & it looks really good! You can see the patterns on one side & it has a satin

finish. And this is a glass back & it’s only 7.57mm thin. And it’s curved on both the sides. My goodness, the feeling in the hand of a premium phone, look at this! Talking about the ports, you get a sim card tray, a microphone, USB Type C, speaker grill. On the right hand side, you get a volume rocker & a power on off button. On top, there’s a noise cancelling microphone. On the

left hand side, there’s nothing. Talking about the sim card tray, there’s a hybrid sim card slot. So you can either use 1 sim card & 1 SD card or 2 sim cards. So that’s nice, there’s an expansion slot & there’s no 3.5mm jack. Oh, it’s on top, let’s take it out & see the satisfaction moment. Yes! Lovely! Talking about the weight, it’s thin & light. It’s very lightweight, I feel it’s less than 170g. It can’t be as it has a 5000mAh battery. So I’ll say 175g, let’s see. It’s 178.8g, but it doesn’t feel so light.

It literally feels very light in the hand, for sure. 178.8g is still quite light. Let’s do the drop test, there’s glass on both sides. It’s a lightweight phone, nothing much should happen. 1,2,3 No, nothing happened. 1,2 & 3 No, absolutely nothing, no crack, no dents. It looks really good, I’m saying it for the 3rd time. Let’s talk about the display. And just look at the display, the side bezels are non-existent. Even if you look at the bezel near the chin, it’s very thin. This is nearly all display. As the bezels are so thin, there’s a

93% screen-to-body ratio. It’s all display. The display is 6.78” with 120Hz AMOLED display. The brightness is 1300 nits, so it’s quite good in terms of brightness. Even now, it’s only at half. Look at this, how bright it gets. So even if you use it in sunlight, you’ll be able to see everything clearly. And yes, this is a curved display. When you look at it near the phone, you definitely get that premium feel. Remember, the price of this phone is around Rs 25K. And for that price, it punches above its weight in terms of look. Vivo

V Series is all about looks & camera. And in terms of looks, this is taking that forward. Let’s talk about the camera first. It comes with Qualcomm SD 695 stride & tested processor. It has 2 variants, 8GB RAM & 128GB storage. One variant is 256GB & the other is 8GB virtual RAM. It has LPDDR4X RAM type & UFS 2.2 storage type. Talking about performance, it’s fantastic for regular use. But as you know, the 695 processor is available on phones ranging from Rs 20-21K. From that perspective, this is around Rs 25K. Talking about AnTuTu score, it’s

around 4.4L in version 10 & 3.9L in version 9. It’s decent & you can play games on medium settings at 40FPS. You’ll be able to play COD Mobile, BGMI etc. Talking about OS, it comes on Funtouch OS 13 which is based on Android 13. Talking about pre-installed apps, there are some pre-installed apps which you can uninstall. There are Hot Games & Hot Apps. So yes, that’s there. Vivo hasn’t said anything about updates yet. Talking about sensors, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock & they work very well. Connectivity, you get dual band WiFi, Bluetooth

5.1, 5G chipset & 7 bands total. It’s supported by all the telecom operators in India. Multimedia, the display is very immersive & the video viewing experience is good. Mono speakers are loud & the overall multimedia experience is good. It has Widevine L1 support so you can do HD streaming on Netflix but it doesn’t support HDR. That’s because of the 695 processor. It doesn’t have SAR value within limits & FM radio. The 2nd important thing after the display is the camera. And I’ll tell you what, the camera is really good. On the back, it doesn’t have

unnecessarily useless 2MP secondary & tertiary sensors. It has a 64MP OIS sensor & an 8MP ultrawide secondary sensor. You can click portrait photos here & you’re going to be really impressed. In fact, you can click photos on 2x zoom which is the ideal size for shooting portraits. Portraits are good in terms of sharpness & skin tones. But even better, it has a 50MP eye autofocus camera. I mean seriously, who gives a 50MP selfie sensor? But yes, it has a Vivo V29e sensor & the photos are very nice. There are a lot of photos in the

original quality. I’m giving the G-Drive link below, do check it out & you’ll get to know how the photos are in the original quality. One thing that surprised me was the low light performance. Because of the OIS, the low light photos are good. Overall, the camera is a big thumbs up, especially at this price range. Video Graphics On the back, you get 1080p at 60FPS & 1080p at 30FPS. And it’s not 4K, so it’s a chipset issue & not a phone issue. App Features On the back, there’s a super moon mode where you can take

photos of the moon. There’s a super slow motion mode & all the standard modes are available. There’s dual exposure & dual video mode. You can use the front & rear cameras at the same time to shoot videos. And there’s a Bokeh Flare Portrait feature. So you can add flares at the back & it looks very nice. There’s also a Wedding Photography Mode, which was available on the Vivo V27. So when you go for a wedding, you can use this mode to take great photos. Camera App Features On the back, it’s feature rich. So how is

the Vivo V29e? You know that the V series of Vivo is known for its display, camera & looks. And Vivo V29e carries forward all 3 features. The display is superb & it’s one of the better looking phones in the Rs 25-30 price range. And yes, the camera is very good. So these are the 3 highlights. Performance wise, it’s average. But other than that, this is a great phone. Especially in hand feel, light & curved display. I don’t have a price right now, so I’ll put it in the description & pinned comment. That’s all for this

video. Until the next one, Keep Trakin & Stay Safe! Thanks for watching.
