hey y’all it’s me Eboni and I am back again today with another video this time today’s video is all about Amazon kdp so i had to pull it up so that i explain it correctly but kdp stands for kindle direct publishing and amazon kdp allows you to self-publish ebooks paperbacks and hardcover books for free so yes that is right for free you are able to self-publish your books on the amazon platform so how i found out about it i was just minding my business scrolling on youtube because y’all know i love youtube i watch youtube
like tv so i’m scrolling and youtube recommends a video about how to make money selling low content books on amazon kdp and with me being an entrepreneur that is always open to multiple streams of income i was like okay let me look into this let me see what this is about i watched a couple videos here on youtube and also on tick tock and i was like you know what let me give this a shot low content books medium content books it can’t be that hard to make especially because i am already a self-published author
so i’m like i already know how to do this i already know how to use canva i could design a cover and if that’s all i got to
making thousands of dollars we will never work again no other job you get it and that’s not the case so obviously there has to be more to it but i was like what could i lose what could i possibly lose because i mentioned low content books i feel like since we’re here i might as well explain it so a low content book is a book that basically has no content on the inside pages we call it low content because if it’s a notebook the low content is just the lines being printed on the page little
to nothing is on the inside of the book but you design the cover so people buy notebooks all of the time i am a notebook queen i was going to grab one from out of my purse but obviously i’m i’m it’s over there um i’m a notebook queen i go into my favorite stores and i will buy a notebook just because it’s pretty so i’m like it gotta be a lot of other people out there that are just like me that’s gonna buy a notebook just because the design on it is very pretty so i
might as well just give it a shot i’m nervous and excited at the same time like i just so yeah as i’m unboxing and showing you guys this i’m going to show what it looked like the design i actually made what the design looks like um and what it looked like when i uploaded it into amazon’s kdp platform and then that way you can compare it to what it really looks like so let’s get into it oh my goodness okay so it’s two it’s three books here i have three books so the first one i
don’t know if the first one would be considered a medium content book because i added a little bit more to the page but this is what the cover looks like and this is called the blunt book a journal to vent about the things that piss you off because i don’t know like stuff pisses us off all of the time and i just feel like those blunt words that you can’t say aloud we should put it in a journal so just by judging the cover the cover is amazing this is exactly on what it i wanted
it to look like it looked like somebody put these sticky fingerprints on top of the book though was that just me or no no okay it’s all of the books all of the books look like it’s like some type of gloss where somebody put their fingerprints on it it’s not showing up on camera but it looked like somebody took that glossy fingers and put their fingerprints on it but it’s not that noticeable it’s just that i noticed it though i notice it i don’t know if it’s adhesive um i noticed that okay anyways they put
their own barcode at the back um or you can pay for your own barcode and then when i open it ah look at it look at the colorful pages so the color comes out really well on the inside of my book the color comes out really well oh my gosh yeah i gotta post it to my um oh my gosh i gotta post it to my facebook because i was telling my facebook friends about it i am really i mean i am shocked i am really loving this first one other than the fingerprint marks or
whatever that is on the first one this is good the second one is a just a notebook journal it says you are my sunshine and i’m also seeing the marks on this one as well i’m about to hold the camera at a different angle so maybe y’all can see it because it’s not going to show up the front and the back and then the inside is just blank lines it’s just nothing but blank lines i’m thinking if i was to do this one again i would make this one bigger in size so both of these
are basically the same size i think i would make this one bigger yeah i would make my notebooks bigger way bigger than this way bigger so that’s a good thing to know and then the next one in this package is actually a composition book because i knew that school was coming up for the kids and i was just like let me make a cute little composition book for the girls so this is the composition book that i designed got all this like cute little stuff on it and then we have the paper we have the
paper so yeah i’m trying to see it don’t look like you have like the fingerprints or the adhesive on this one so that is really good i got them all in a matte cover so that’s also really good all right y’all so these are the three books out of the multiple books that i have ordered i am gonna order some of my other ones because some of my other books are books that i can actually use i feel like there are books that i could actually use for myself and i want to order them just
