DCODE Bold 3 Pro: Best phone in Rs.40k? | Unboxing & Review

Friends, new phone brands are creating a ruckus in the market these days and if right now you are looking for a phone for around Rs. 40,000 then this video is going to be very useful for you. Hello and welcome to ReviewsPK! My name is Ameer and this is Dcode a new mobile company in Pakistan, has been launching phones for some time now, but recently we got this in our studio, this is Dcode Bold 3 Pro, you all requested a lot to cover this phone, its retail price is Rs. 42,999 there is only one variant with

8GB RAM and 128GB storage and you will get this phone within Rs. 40,000 from the market I even saw it for Rs. 37,000 from one place but the kind of spec sheet this phone has come with I won’t be surprised if it gets sold out very soon. So, let’s quickly move towards our unboxing and here is our box of Decode Bold 3 Pro I must say after seeing this box, I don’t feel like it’s a cheap phone which is a good thing all the main specs of the phone are mentioned on the back and everyone

starts looking at them carefully it feels like Decode has given everything that was possible in Rs. 40,000 anyways, let’s open this box and check out the

handset it starts with this flyer and here is our handset in white colour, it looks very beautiful to me and the back of this phone is also made of glass along with the phone, there is a SIM ejector tool in the box a silicon protective case a hands-free headset Type-C charging cable and a 33W super fast charging power brick And now, let’s come to this phone so, my favourite feature

of this phone is, hands down, this glass back usually, we see more plastic phones at this Rs. 40,000, second is its white color, this phone does comes with a green color premium than its price design wise, it is a very minimalistic type of phone there are no colourful, roundish gradients here the frame is also in silver matte colour and is flat and the border of the edges of the back is slightly curved which makes it comfortable to hold in the hands the camera module is also ultra-thin it has a triple camera setup we will talk

about that later in physical dimensions, this phone is 7.96 mm thick and with a weight of 190 grams it has quite average dimensions neither is this phone chunky nor ultra-thin in my opinion, in terms of build quality this phone is top-notch at Rs. 40,000 price point if we look at the button placement and ports there is a power button and volume keys at the side there is a noise cancellation mic at the top while at the bottom, there is a headphone jack mic, Type-C port and its single bottom-firing mono speaker, now you must be wondering

where is its side mounted fingerprint sensor, there is none, instead it has an under display optical fingerprint sensor. let me tell you that this is the best-in-class display at Rs. 40,000 price point just check its specs 6.78 inches, full HD plus resolution with 120 Hz refresh rate AMOLED display peak brightness of 500 nits with an under-display fingerprint sensor those who don’t know, AMOLED displays are usually found in more premium phones because they are more expensive than IPS LCD and their colours are more punchy blacks are more deep and with this, you get features like always-on

display which is present in this phone but friends, the story of the display doesn’t end here because for a good display, bezels also matter and seeing the bezels of this display, I was even more impressed there is very less difference in the thickness of the top and bottom bezels one more thing which I liked a lot is that to save battery, you can reduce the refresh rate yourself and here we have 60 Hz along with middle-man 90 Hz option is also present personally, I don’t feel much difference between 120 Hz and 90 Hz so, if

you want to save some battery you can also take some diet high refresh rate experience on 90 Hz and you can also save some battery and then, there is no compromise of dew drop notch in this phone here, hole punch cutout is given for selfie camera one small compromise of this phone’s display experience is that it has Widevine L3 certification, not L1 which means, this phone will show maximum 480p content in apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime but it doesn’t affect YouTube and Facebook they will show videos in full resolution all in all, I think

this display is very good in this price, no brand new phone will give you a better display than this now, let’s come to the back here, there is a triple camera set where the main camera is of 50MP along with it, there is a 2MP macro camera and then, there is a VGA sensor for the depth effect of portrait shots now, at this price point, normally you have to compromise in cameras because to develop the cameras you have to spend a lot of money on hardware and especially software’s R&D so, R&D of bigger international brands

especially to develop software and camera algorithms is a lot I found that missing here but honestly, this camera is bearable the images are a little soft, but the colours are very saturated I will call this camera passable at a price point of Rs. 40,000 here, the maximum video recording resolution is 2K at 30fps if we come to the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera here, you can see the picture samples it takes very entry level quality images but again, I think most people will be able to handle it and now, after the display of

this phone we come to its biggest selling point and that is its chipset configuration check it out here, there is MediaTek Helio G99 chipset which is a 6nm chipset along with it, there is Mali G57 GPU there is 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with which can be extended to 8GB, there is 128GB UFS 2.2 storage and this phone also has a Hybrid Dual SIM so, you can expand the storage via SD card but in this, you can either install 2 SIMs or 1 SIM and 1 SD Now, these days, we see this Helio G99 at Rs 50,000-60,000

or even at price points above that so, in that regard, having Helio G99 in a phone of Rs 40,000 is a good thing according to me but this is not groundbreaking at all because we see this G99 in Rs. 30,000 price point. You can expect a score of 4-4.25 lakh, UFS 2.1 storage is a plus point as it is faster and does not slow down with time. price point or even heavy gamers can look at this phone gamers, please note that this phone also has a hardware gyro which will be very useful while gaming as

far as frame rates are concerned, PUBG will run at 40FPS easily and as far as daily use apps are concerned in messaging, social media, video content, etc. this phone runs I haven’t felt any stuttering, lag or hitch and along with this smooth running processor there is a big reason for this phone’s interface because, friends, this is Android 13 and this is a fully stock Android experience there is no skinning, etc. just the interface that is purely made by Ajda which Google has made for us with their own hands let me tell our new viewers that

personally, in Android space I like the stock Android experience the most because there is no heavy skinning in it there are no extra animations so it runs very smoothly it feels very light and there are no pre-installed bloatware apps in it there is bad news for our spy brothers that there is no functionality of the secret call recorder in this phone and now let’s talk about the power there is a very standard setup here there is a 5000 mAh big battery along with 33W super fast charging for me personally, this 5000 mAh and 33W charging

combination is perfect with a 5000 mAh battery most people can easily spend a day if we talk about the charging speed this phone will take 1.5 to 1.5 hours to fully charge from empty now, do note here that with 120Hz refresh rate normally, phones drain the battery faster so you will feel that it is draining the battery, when used heavily but expect a screen on time of 6 to 7 hours which means that this phone can give at least a day for most people if the usage is light then maybe more and if you need

to top up in the middle of the day then 33W super fast charging is very fast you can charge the battery in 20-25 minutes and still, if you feel that the phone’s battery is about to run out then you can reduce the refresh rate of the display and you can also activate its battery saver so friends, in my opinion, Decode Bold 3 Pro is one of the best phones at the price point of Rs. 40,000 its build and design is best in class glass back, Gorilla Glass 5 protection and because of its minimalistic design the

display is also best in class in my opinion high refresh rate AMOLED display which checks all my boxes the processor is also good at this price point in Rs. 40,000, no brand new phone will give you a better processor than Helio G99 there is a little compromise in the camera but this is also bearable but that sadness has also been covered by the stock Android experience for me in today’s expensive environment where everything is getting more expensive day by day there, I definitely welcome such a value for money phone and I can confidently say that

if you are looking for a phone for yourself around Rs. 40,000 then buy Decode Bold 3 Pro you will enjoy it right now, no brand new phone is beating its features if you want to see a comparison of Decode Bold 3 Pro with any other phone then do tell me in the comments below if you have any other feedback, you can also leave it below if you are new to the channel, then subscribe if you are watching on Facebook, then follow if you liked the video, then like it share it with your friends as well
