Fiido E-Gravel C22 Review – The Most Stylish E-bike I've Ever Seen

Hi everyone! My name is Cassie and I ride bikes! Today we’re going to take a look at the new e-gravel bike from Fiido! The E-gravel C22 So first of all, what is a gravel bike? A gravel bike looks a lot like a road bike with the same low placed handlebar and slim design. But this bike is actually more designed for you to take off a little gravel roads, forest roads and of course asphalt However its limit goes to super soft sound 😀 Let’s take a look at the design! So when you first take a look

at this bike you can’t really tell it’s an e-bike. The design is super light – 17.5 kilograms, so you can lift it up if you need. When they say “do your daily exercise with your bike” I’m pretty sure this is not what they mean… So for me who lives in an apartment, I have a super small elevator This is how I take my bike into the elevator So I’m really grateful to be able to lift it. To be honest, my first concern when I saw this bike was that it didn’t have any mud protection in

the ads and the pictures I have seen. But luckily, these are actually included in the box, so don’t you worry! I don’t ride bikes a lot

when it’s bad weather, but sometimes it has been raining a little bit, and we may have some puddles on the ground. And yeah this helps a lot. You don’t want to get dirty on your ride to work. So I’m very grateful for that you can choose if you want them or not on your bike. So to start the bike, you simply click here, see the button is pushed down, next

to the charging outlet. And now we hold the Power button And it starts up it starts on the second assistant level. The display looks really nice and tidy – you have everything you need. The battery, current speed and the level of assistance. You change the assistant level here, up and down And five is the maximum as you can see. Down… really easy same way. Zero, even. The display is also waterproof and if something were to happen to it, it’s really easy to replace it. Now let’s look at the lights. You hold the “M” and you

see this little icon pops up. Now you have the front lights, which looks like this. You can see my bag there also. It’s a really neat design. Also a little reflector here. And remember the light, is for you to see, but also for you to be seen by others! Speaking of being seen, here in the back we have the back light. Simply hold it in to start. It has this Blinky lights, more Blinky lights and a solid glow. And as I’ve said before, I only recommend using this mode to not cause too much distraction for

cars and such. And you remove it by unscrewing it. You charge it by a USBC port. Super easy! Now let’s see how fast we can catch up on speed So I have been testing this bike for a couple of days now and I really like it! My favorite thing about this bike is how smooth it feels to ride it. So if I’m gonna compare it to previous e-bike models I’ve tried, when the assistance kicks in on those it can feel a bit like Huh! It can be a bit sudden. With the C22 it just folds

in the assistance in a great way So the range on this bike is 80 kilometers. I haven’t had time to test it out fully myself yet, but I assume that’s like under perfect conditions. If you use the first assistant mode so you don’t use so much battery power of course. This bike also, it doesn’t have a throttle, so it’s only pedal assistance on this bike. And me myself, I don’t mind at all. Just riding it as a bike is possible of course, you can ride it as normal and the assistance just feels like a bonus

And speaking of the battery, Fiido choose to have a smaller battery in this model to maintain the slim and Sleek appearance of a traditional bike. However, while I was still editing this video, Fiido contacted me and announced that they will release an extension battery, to significantly increase the bike’s range! And if you’re looking to buy this bike you might have seen that Fiido has a sister bike to this one called Fido e-gravel C21. And you may be wondering what’s the difference between these two bikes? The C21 has a straight handlebar, this one is a bit

curved one. And the C22 is a step through, and the C21 has a straight bar here. They have the same range and everything. But they recommend the C21 for the taller people and this model for the shorter people. I mean I am 175 centimeters myself and I have no issues with this bike. I feel really comfortable riding it! I can’t really think of anything negative this far. Only thing is the the seat – it is a slim designed bike of course, and the seat is comfortable in the beginning but for me, I think I need

a wider seat And yeah that’s a easy thing to fix! So how is the C22 to unbox and assemble? Let’s take a look So this is what it looks like, straight from the box When I first opened up everything, it did look a bit complicated to assemble this bike, but the instructions are very clear and shows you step by step how to assemble everything! As long as the instruction book! The box provides you with all the tools and screws you need for assembling. And like I said earlier, the bike comes with fenders. However, there are

no instructions for how to mount those, so it did take me some time to figure out. But otherwise it was smooth sailing! And if you have bought this bike and need some extra guidance, I will link Fiido’s own unboxing video in the description Another cool thing is that Fiido has lanuched an app where you can connect your bike and keep track on your adventures. You can easily choose which meter you want first like battery percentage, maximum speed and so on. And if you want to take the extra step – check out the Fiido Mate the

Smartwatch, that automatically syncs all your cycling data from the app, and also keeps track on your heart rate and health achievements. The Smartwatch also starts up your bike when you’re near each other, and it turns it off when you leave your bike So if you wanna know more about the Fiido C22, click the link in the description! Or check out my pinned comment under this video. Thank you so much for watching this video! And thank you Fiido for making this video possible! Now let’s go for a ride!
