Market Garden Brewery in Cleveland celebrating Festivus

Welcome back. Hey, before we get to Christmas, we can’t skip over one of my personal favorite holidays. And that’s Festivus and uh coin by Seinfeld. Of course, it’s a day to air all of your grievances against all the people that have disappointed you and rebel against all the commercial aspects of the holiday season. And what better way to do that with some local beer and joining us. And if he knows all about beer, it’s my buddy mcnulty, one of the co founders of Market Garden and with Market Garden, they have the, the fantastic festivus Christmas

sale as well. Sam, you guys are throwing a big party today starting at 1130. Tell us about it. Yeah. So we, it’s festivus for the rest of us. Absolutely. At Market Garden Brewery, your favorite brew pub. Uh, right next door to the west side Market. So if you’re down in Ohio City doing your last minute Christmas shopping or in this case, festival shopping. Yes, of course. Stopping by the brew pub, we’re open until 230 in the morning and it’s gonna be a party all day. Yeah, you, I mean, you, you can’t drink all day unless

you start in the morning and they’re gonna be doing that right, right at 1130 where you can hop on over there. Uh And then so talk to me about the new

celebration pack that you guys have here. It, it is such a cool concept uh that you do it. It’s, and it’s all of, of course, Seinfeld theme. So you got the festival, you got the airing of Grievances. Feats of Strength Aluminum Pull. Uh Where did the concept come from this? So it, it’s the idea is it’s this perfect gift pack four different beers in one

gorgeous package. And you get to go through the whole festivus situation at Festivus the holiday ale. So it’s our answer like everybody’s brewing Christmas ales, right? That’s like the thing. So in our case, we’re like, when everybody else is zigging, we chose to zag. I love it. So this is Festivus for the rest of us. So it’s a, it’s a gorgeous holiday ale. Uh And then what I like about it too is it’s a little lighter than, than other ones, you know, it’s dry. So like a lot of Christmas ales are sweet. They’re, they’re like

spice bombs. You have one, you’re like, I kinda wanna go brush my teeth right now and switch to something else. Festivus is very Moorish like you have one, you want three more, maybe five and then wake up on the floor and then the other three beers in the mix pack. Red Rye IP A uh and then the feats of strength. So it’s basically a Riff on the Seinfeld Festivus holiday. Of course. So airing of Grievances feats of strength and of course the aluminum pole and then when you, when you get this there, you can like

what put it all together so you can have your own aluminum pole so you can have your own fest. Correct. So, just like in the Seinfeld episode, uh they find Tinsel distracting a instead of a Christmas tree. It’s a, an aluminum pole. I love that. I love that. So, uh where are some, if you talking about this? Well, this was a marketing idea that uh of course Market Garden came up with, I had my own uh marketing idea that I pitched to Sam a little bit ago and clearly it didn’t go through. I wanted to

have the roast of Sam Ulti so we could air all of our grievances about him. I thought that that would have been fantastic, but maybe next we could do that. That’s next year. Next year, it’s going to be an eight hour long segment. It will be a call in. I love it. I love it. All right. Go check out uh my buddies there at Market Garden, the Festivus party taking place today at 1130. Uh right there, right at the, at the west side Market. Go check it out, go have a festivus have an airing agreement.

Have a feat of strength, have an aluminum pole just to be able to celebrate this fantastic day that we have here. And I think the only way to end off an interview here I, I is just to have, have a little cheers here, buddy, boy. So Merry Christmas. This is C Max. It’s not the, my favorite. It’s just a little close to me. Cheers pal. Merry Christmas. Happy F this. We’ll be back right after the break. Cheers.
