Omega Speedmaster Chronograph Black Dial Mens MoonWatch 3570.50.00 Review | SwissWatchExpo
From SwissWatchExpo. Here’s a watch I’ve been
obsessed with since the mid-1970s. The first
time I ever saw an ad for the Omega Speedmaster
Professional MoonWatch in a life magazine article,
but it was the first watch worn on the moon.
It’s the only one that’s been flight-qualified
by NASA for all space missions. They’ve upgraded
the bracelet, where it has the double trigger
release and a very nicely machined clasp with some
micro-adjustment in it as well. But the star of
the show is this incredible legibility that you
see. And it’s a manual wind 42-millimeter watch
with an extremely legible dial so that you
can see your chronograph functions as well as
the exact time. No date, no automatic movement
here. It’s just a no-frills, no joke, probably
one of the most iconic watches and definitely one
of the best chronographs that’s ever been made.
