Rosalynn Carter, former US first lady, enters hospice care
Um former first lady Rosalind Carter is now in hospice care. The Carter Center says the 96 year old is receiving care at home in Georgia along with her husband, Jimmy Carter, who is 99. The family announced earlier this year that she is suffering from dementia. The former president also entered hospice care earlier this year, the couple has been married for 77 years and have agreed that Rosalind played a major role in the former president’s political career. She was dubbed the Steel Magnolia by the press in the 19 seventies for her grace and toughness and she
worked many years in improving treatment for folks with mental health struggles.
