Samsung Galaxy F54 Unboxing & First Impressions⚡4+5Y Updates, 108MP OIS & More

Friends, the Rs 30K price range of smartphones is very competitive & many new phones are launching at this price point. And Samsung has launched their own phone. I don’t know the price yet but the Samsung Galaxy F54 is going to be around Rs 30K. And I’ll tell you what, 3-4 things are standout in this phone. I’ll tell you everything & we’ll do its unboxing & first impressions. We have 2 colours & I’ll show you both. But let’s quickly unbox 1 phone, it’s a small box & it’s not going to take much time. It’s a big

phone, it’s a small box. There’s a case, no I don’t think there’s a case. There’s a USB Type C to Type C charging cable, so yes, it doesn’t come in the adapter box. And then you have small little documentation in a small little box. That’s about it, there’s nothing else. There’s a sim card tool. Let’s keep this box aside, let’s remove this phone as well. Alright, wow! I remember the 2020-2021 phone, there were many colours like this at that time. But they disappeared after that. This is Stardust Silver. Look at the colours, when you see

the colours on it, it looks like rainbow colours. It’s plain silver, but when the light falls, it looks completely different. It has a fingerprint magnet, but

I can’t say it’s a magnet. It’s a shiny mirror reflective phone. And this is the 2nd colour, which is a bit subdued. This is Meteor Blue. When you hold the phone, it looks beefy. Both look pretty nice. The phone is definitely big in hand & there’s a reason why it’s big. It’s a big display, but the battery is also big. It has a 6000mAh battery, but it’s not as heavy

as I expected. There’s no glass back, it’s a plastic back. According to me, it’ll still be around 200g. If it’s around 200g with a 6000mAh battery, I think they’ve managed the weight very well. It’s 198.2g! Wow! It’s a 6.7” display with a big battery & yet it’s under 200g which is very good. But if you buy this phone, do use the case as I’m seeing smudges on it. This is reflective on both the colours. Ports & Buttons At the bottom, there’s a speaker grill, a USB Type C port, a microphone. On the left, there’s a

sim card tray, a noise cancelling microphone. And on the right, there’s a volume rocker & a power on off button which doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. I think it’ll be a dual nano sim card tray. These days, around 30K phones don’t have SD card slots. Oh! It’s a hybrid sim card slot, which is not bad as it has expandable storage. I’m actually surprised, that’s good & the quality is good. So you can either use 2 nano sim cards or 1 sim card & 1 SD card for storage. We’ve seen it from the outside, but

not from the inside. It has Gorilla Glass 5 protection. There’s no scratch guard on the front & it’ll drop from a height. 1,2,3! It dropped straight & didn’t fall. No, nothing. It’s beefy & well built. It’s well built, but nothing. So build wise, it’s very good. Let’s start the phone. We bring so many unboxings for you, if you like them & if they’re useful, then do hit LIKE & SUBSCRIBE! And share them with your friends! It’s always a good idea to do that. This is a bright panel, 6.7” FHD+, 120Hz Super AMOLED Plus HDR10 display.

Display is awesome, the bezels are thin & the sides have an average size chin. Overall, it’s an excellent display. Samsung phones are known for their display, but this has Super AMOLED Plus display. It’s one of the few phones that you get HDR streaming on Netflix. It’s generally seen on YouTube, but not on Netflix. But this display supports that. So it’s going to be amazing for multimedia. But you can’t get stereo speakers on multimedia phones, only mono speakers. Display is awesome, the mono speakers are good too. They’re loud & have good quality, but they’re mono speakers.

Multimedia phones are very good, they have a big & immersive display. Let’s look at the performance. The display & the display itself are impressive. And I’ll tell you what, Exynos 1380 has surprised me. It’s a new chipset that launched in March & it’s one of the most stable Exynos chipsets. And Antutu scores are around 5.5L, so it’s a firm premium mid range chipset. So in terms of performance, it’s better than other chipsets like 77080, Dimensity 1080, 7050. So it’s definitely a good performance. If I talk about gaming, you can play on HD to high settings

with 30FPS. We’ve played a lot of games like COD Mobile, we definitely enjoyed playing games on this one. And in terms of thermals, it’s very good. It’s slightly warm, but not much. It’s good for longer gaming sessions. It’s good for multitasking, you can throw anything at it. You can use heavy apps, you should not have problems. Swipes & touches are very good. OS UI is based on Android 13 with OneUI 5.1. But the big thing is, even in the F series, which is Samsung’s budget series, they’ve given 4 years major updates & 5 years security

updates. They also give the commit updates, which is really good. So you’re going to get 14, 15, 16, 17. So this phone becomes future proof as well in terms of OS updates. I’d like to tell you a few things about the OS. You get 8GB RAM & Virtual RAM, so that adds to it. This time, surprisingly, even in the F series, the haptic feedback is really good. So yeah, the F series is really improved. And again, I’m looking at it in the Rs 30K price range. If I compare it with others, their haptics are also

good. It has only 1 variant, 8GB RAM & 256GB storage. As I said, you get virtual RAM, so 8GB physical & 8GB virtual. It has a 6000mAh battery & it has Exynos 1380 5nm processor. So it means, you’ll get a battery for 2 days in moderate usage. So it’s great in terms of battery & backup. You get only 25W charging, so it’ll take time to charge 6000mAh. If I talk about the storage type, it’s UFS 2.2 storage type & LPDDR4X RAM type. Cameras- It looks like the S23 flagship. And the camera rings are metal, so

it won’t wear & tear when you keep it. It has a triple-camera setup. It has a 108MP OIS camera, a secondary 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro sensor & a 32MP selfie camera. And yes, it has a 108MP OIS camera which is very good. We didn’t spend much time on the first impressions. The photos are good in normal conditions. The ultrawide photos are soft & I’ll shift the colour a little. But you should check the original quality photos on the G-Drive link. We’ve taken photos in low light conditions, normal conditions & in different conditions. We’ve

stored everything on the G-Drive, do check it out & let us know how you find the photos. I’d like to comment again, there are definitely smudges, so be careful about that. If I talk about the video graphics, you get 4K 30FPS in both rear & front. So yes, 4K 30FPS even in front is there. The single take feature that was launched 1.5-2 years ago is also available on this phone. It has a fun mode, the night mode has been improved so you can take better photos in low light conditions. So it has a decent camera

setup as well. We’ve put a standout feature photo on the G-Drive link. You can take star trails photos in this mode, which is called Astrolapse mode. You can take star trails photos here. Let’s talk about the sensors, it has a side mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock & works very well. Connectivity is good, it has WiFi 6, 5G, 10 band support, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi calling, Bluetooth 5.3 & NFC. You can do it with Samsung Pay on the tap & you’ll be able to do that too. I mentioned it in the start of the multimedia video,

but I’ll reiterate that you get HDR streaming in Netflix. This is really good for multimedia consumption. If you’re a gaming or video creator, then you can record on the screen at 1080p with USB 2.0. And this is good, because it’s recycled material, like packaging, box, sim card tray & buttons. So these phones are more environmental friendly. So definitely at around Rs 30K, I’m hoping it’ll be under Rs 30K. Battery backup is amazing, although it doesn’t have fast charging, but it has a 6000mAh battery. Display is absolutely gorgeous & performance is also quite good in this

price range. So multimedia, performance, display, battery are the main things that tick all the boxes correctly. But the most standout one, for which I really say kudos to Samsung, is the 4 year major updates & 5 year security updates. This is the Samsung Galaxy F54, if you have any questions, do ask in the comments below. That’s all for this video, until the next one, Keep Trakin & Stay Safe!
