Eric Montross diagnosed with cancer
New this morning, sad news for fans of Indiana basketball the family of Eric Montross announced he is battling cancer. In a statement shared by the Carolina Basketball Twitter acc, Eric’s family says he is receiving treatment at the UNC Lineberger Cancer Ce. While they are concerned, they say they are, quote, dealing with a diagnosis head on the only way Eric knows how. Eric Montross played basketball Lawrence North High School. He led the team to victory in the Indiana State Championship. And he went on to play for the University of North Carolina, where he led the team
to victorn the national championship in 19. He was recruited by the Boston Celtics and went on to play for multiple teams in the NBA over eight sea. He’s now a radio analyst, and in 2014, Eric returned to Indy and Lawrence North for a reunion with his championp team. Indiana Basketball, then without the classes, I had to get that little dig in.
