UConn football gears up for matchup against Georgia State on Saturday

Alright, staying on the gridiron, let’s go back up to college. UConn football returns to the field tomorrow for a game down in Atlanta. The Huskies visit Georgia State coming off a loss to NC State, and after evaluating that performance, Jim Morris says this team really needs to improve on the ground. We need to run it better, you know, on a consistent basis. I think like this the stats were skewed a little bit run stats cause of Victor’s run and of course you have to count in the stats. But if you have to look at it

objectively, like when Joel scrambles and runs, to me that’s not a run play, you know what I mean? It’s a scramble if you go back and you like look at like called run plays. We need, we’re not effective as we needed to be to get ourselves in positions where we could open up the play action game a little bit, you know. So you know, I think it all comes back to me. I’ll take to run the ball. You know to be able to throw it you got to be able to. On it. The run game

gets put to the test again tomorrow night. UConn visits Georgia State kickoff at 7:00.
