C.J. Stroud breaks down the Ohio State quarterback battle

Welcome back to Buckeye Blitz. Tomorrow at 3:30. The Buckeyes kicked the season off on the road at Indiana. You’ll be able to watch the game live right here on 10 TV. So what can we expect out of the Buckeyes tomorrow and for that matter this season? Our Adam King put those questions to former Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud. CJ Stroud, Richard freshman from Rancho Cucamonga, CA, brings the offense onto the field. It’s a familiar sight. Kyle is a somebody who’s waited his turn and. Was a a great help to me. Two friends now in two

different spots, one preparing for their first NFL game, the other now in the center of the Buckeye huddle heading on the road. Very accurate, pretty smart, mobile in the pocket. Can make every throw in the field. We saw Kyle suit up against Akron, but this start against Indiana is much different and something a career in the making. I helped him a lot as well, just with his confidence and and staying. Already, always preparing like a starter, so now that I think he’s definitely going to be ready and definitely something that I challenged him on was

just being a vocal leader. And I think that’s something that talking to them boys now is something he stepped up and he’s done. The difference for McCord and Stroud

though, is that the battle this year for QB will continue on through Saturday with #33 getting snaps as well. And then David man, just, I definitely think that he was groomed to be a great quarterback, not only I think in college, but in NFL as well. Very athletic, can make every time. I feel as well and I definitely think that the more experience that he gets, the

better off that he’ll be. Stroud and Devon were roommates at Ohio State and while CJ is now down in Texas, the advice isn’t stopping. I know because there is coaching Devin Hart. So just something that coaching man because I I I got that too and just doing what is asked of you and when it’s time to make a play, going make a play. There’s no doubt in Seven’s mind that. Both quarterbacks are able to lead this Ohio State team to a championship, and he knows that the Buckeyes are the perfect place to prepare anyone under

Center for the next level. The responsibility of it everything that I learn from our state is actually paying off, and that’s why I went to our state. One of the reasons why I went and I’m blessed enough to now live out what I learned from Coach Day and everybody in in Columbus. So everything that I’ve learned and from good and bad has been paying off now.
