on the live for no reason he has his reasons to back it up and there are things he said that no other golfer can disagree with given Jax immense success during his playing days the legend spoke about how he was only concerned with the Love of the Game when he played adding that most players today only play golf for the money some guys may not care about golf they are simply very good at it it’s merely a means to an end for them and if that’s the case that’s fine after lashing out at live golfer
trying to buy the game he revealed some pretty shocking facts when he did my lifetime earnings including both tours were around 8 million dollars or so 10 guys make that now every year well damn that’s just crazy Nicholas claimed that his generation of golfers played the game for love not muddy but this generation is the complete opposite at least all the players on live golf are according to Jack Nicholas apparently times have changed and the chance of making more while doing what you love is more appealing clearly Nicholas doesn’t think so and he is kept
on grilling the live for it but while Nicholas has repeatedly shared his opinion we got a response from the live Camp which was pretty interesting and who else would it have come from of course Greg Norman CEO of live golf reacted to Jack Nicholas’s comments about the saudi-backed live golf invitational series Norman has never been known for saying the right things and once again he might have gone too far when he called the golf legend a hypocrite he even said even says had initially supported the concept of a breakaway franchise that offered more money in
less playing time we did a little digging and found that those accusations are not entirely false Nicholas once said that live golf Investments apparently approached him about taking the lead role in The Venture but from his side of the story he declined not that he ever gave us a reason as to why though but according to live golf officials Nicholas was not offered the same role Norman now has but rather an ambassador type Arrangement that lives narration claims that this is the only reason Nicholas declined the offer according to the 18-time major winner however he

again with a reply saying a hundred percent true Jack is a hypocrite Norman replied in a lengthy Washington Post story that covered far more than his involvement with live golf Investments when he made those comments I thought to myself Jack must have a short memory well damn that must be below the belt don’t you think anyway Norman went on to state that Nicholas attended a live golf presentation and later wrote in an email that the new league has his Blessing oh yeah quote unquote he said this is good for our game if it’s good for
the game of golf I’m all for it Norman concluded his jams at Jack Nicklaus by saying do you want the facts you have the information before you open your mouth consider what you’re going to say despite all these back and forths it did not take Legend Nicholas seven working days to redress his comment after something very strange took a toll on golf live golf and the PGA Tour together in one space this news came as a shocker not just to the PGA Tour loyalist but to everybody who trusted Nicholas to always give his two cents
the last three years have been difficult for the game and the players indeed it has the golf Godfather thinks that live golf’s motive might not have hit the green light but the merger would be good in the golf world in a discussion he had with Jay Monahan the commissioner of the PGA Tour everything seemed to be in check he seemed pleased with the arrangement that will once again bring together the best players in the world I agree that this is good for the game of golf the 83 year old said although these men might be
elderly they definitely still have some fight in them as time passes we may see more developments from both Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman but that’s not the craziest thing about the whole beef that’ll be the fact that Greg Norman had long regarded Nicholas as a mentor anyone who watched golf in the 1980s around with Norman was at the peak of his powers can testify to this he even famous second to Jack Nicholas at the 1986 Masters but now both men are on the other side of the line and do not want to let go of
