Ohio State QB Kyle McCord enters transfer portal

10 TV news at noon today with breaking news. I’m Tracy Townsend, Ohio State quarterback Kyle mccord has entered the transfer portal. 10 T V’s Adam King joins us live here in studio with a breakdown of what all this means. Adam. Well, Tracy just 97 days after Ryan Day named Kyle mccord the starter. We have another QB battle for the Buckeyes and court mccord won’t be a part of this one today. The 11 and one QB entering that transfer portal, mccord putting out a statement little more than an hour ago saying, quote, I’m extremely grateful for

my time at Ohio State playing in the Scarlet and Gray was truly an honor. He went on to thank all of the Buckeye coaches and teammates and finishes by saying Buckeye Nation, your passion is what makes playing in Columbus special. Now with Kyle in the portal, the question is who will play quarterback for the Cotton Bowl? Well, we heard Ryan Day say reps will be spread around yesterday that included Kyle. We thought now it will be Devin Brown and Lincoln Keen ho sharing those reps. The Buckeyes have just 25 days to get ready to face

off with top 10 mizzou. They’ve got to figure out who’s gonna be under center coming up tonight at 45 and six. We’ll take a look at who might be added

to this quarterback room. You may know the Buckeyes have Aaron Nolan coming with the 2024 class. A lot of excitement surrounding him. But might the transport portal be the solution, Tracy? All right, Adam, thank you lots more to talk about on that transport transfer portal. So we’ll look forward to your later reports on that.
