OnePlus 12R Indian Unit Unboxing & First Look ⚡️Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 5500mAh 🔋 @₹39,999!

Friends, this is one of the most exciting phones of 2024. And do you know why I’m saying it’s exciting? Because when its price was announced, we thought it’s going to come at this price! Yes, I’m talking about the OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 12’s younger brother. And before starting the unboxing, I’d like to say that this unboxing was going to be on Feb 5th. At the last moment, on the same day when it was launching, they said there’s an Embargo lift at 8.30pm. But in Embargo too, you can’t give a review or a verdict. You can tell

everything else. I don’t like what this phone does, but I’ve definitely liked the phone. I can’t say anything more because you’ll know why I’m liking it once the video is over. And this is not a review, it’s going to have a detailed review, camera comparison, etc. So don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE for that. A lot of people don’t subscribe, I don’t know why. Don’t you like our videos? If you do, then do SUBSCRIBE! Documentation, case, stickers, red cable club, welcome letter, sim card tool, lovely blue colour case. It’s a colour co-ordinated case as the phone is

blue & it also comes in grey colour. Inside the box, there’s a big 100W charger. This is the biggest battery of OnePlus phones

till now. It has a 5500mAh battery. And inside the box, there’s a USB Type A to Type C cable. That’s about it, let’s quickly keep this aside. Let’s look at the phone. Whoa! It’s shiny! It’s very shiny. But I’ll tell you what, it’s definitely going to be a fingerprint magnet. Look at this, it’s on the new phone in less than 10 seconds. But I’ll tell you what, it has a glass back. If

you look at it without any smudges, it’ll look very good. It looks premium. And again, it has the familiar OnePlus camera module. It has curved glass on the front & back. The frame is also made of metal as you can clearly see the internal lines. It has Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It’s a scratch guard, let’s remove it. It’s a very bad quality scratch guard. Alright, that’s the phone. It has Gorilla Glass Victus 2 & that’s why it always falls. 1, 2 &… Oh no! I don’t get tensed at all. It has Gorilla Glass Victus.

In fact, sometimes it feels like a phone should break. It seriously feels like that. But no, it didn’t break. The in-hand feel is very good. It’s a little slippery, do put a case on it. But it’s not very big, not very small. It has a big display & a big battery. Accordingly, if I talk about the weight, it’s not too much. It has a 5500mAh battery & a big display. So according to me, it should be 210g. Let’s see. Yes, it’s very near, it’s 208g. So it’s very close to 210g. So I’d say it’s slightly

heavier. We haven’t looked at the ports & buttons. There’s a sim card tray, a microphone, a USB Type C port, a speaker grill. On the right hand side, there’s a power on & off button. Above that, there’s a volume rocker. It’s busy on the top as well. There’s an IR blaster, a noise cancelling microphone & a speaker grill. And then, there’s that beautiful alert slider button. Very nice! I don’t think it’s going to be a dedicated SD card. But let me quickly show it to you. Yes, it doesn’t have an SD card slot. It has

a dual nano sim card slot. We’ve looked at it from the outside, now let’s look at it from the inside. Talking about the display, it’s big & curved. It’s 6.78” with 1.5K resolution. It’s an LTPO display with 1-20Hz refresh rate. It has a brightness of 4500 nits. It supports HDR10+. It also supports Dolby Vision. It also supports Dolby Vision. And as I said, it has a great screen-to-body ratio. The bezels on the sides are nearly invisible. And the bezels on the top & the chin are very thin. It has a brightness of 4500 nits. It’s

a very bright display. Even at 30%, it looks very bright. Talking about the specifications, it comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8th Gen 2. There are 2 variants. The base variant has 8GB RAM & 128GB storage. And the next variant is 16GB RAM & 256GB storage. It has an LPDDR5X RAM type. The base variant has UFS 3.1 & the top variant has UFS 4.0. It has a 5500mAh battery. It has 100W charging & 0-100% in 26 minutes. What do you want? It has fast charging, fast RAM type & storage type. It has an excellent processor. The AnTuTu

score is 1.53M. You can play games on the highest settings. You can play COD Mobile on 120FPS. You can play PUBG, New State, BGMI on 90FPS. And I’m not going to talk much about the 8th Gen 2. For a detailed review, do subscribe & hit the bell icon. Don’t forget that as we’re going to do a detailed review on it. Let’s talk about the OS. It has OxygenOS 14 which is based on Android 14. You’re going to get major updates for 3 years & security updates for 4 years. So you’re going to get Android 17

on it. You’re going to get all the new features. Updates are very important now as AI features are going to be added in the coming years. And you can get that only through OTA updates. So do pay attention to updates. It has OxygenOS, a clean UI & it’s very fluid. If I talk about connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 7 support. It has Bluetooth 5.3, NFC & IR Blaster. So it has all the connectivity options. It has in-display fingerprint sensor & face unlock. All sensors are there. It has stereo speakers & it has Dolby Vision. And it

has HDR10+. You’ll be able to watch HDR content on YouTube. It doesn’t have support on Netflix yet. But it has HDR10+, Dolby Vision. So that’s great for multimedia. Because of great display & sound is also excellent. Dolby Atmos is supported & you also get audio. I’m going to talk about the camera. But before that, let’s talk about all the other small features. It has IP64 certification. It doesn’t have wireless charging support. If I talk about USB type, it only has USB 2.0. So that’s there. All the values are within limits. It doesn’t have notification lights.

It supports Camera2API. So that’s all. Let’s talk about cameras. The OnePlus 11R from last year has the same setup. The primary sensor is 50MP Sony IMX890. The secondary sensor is 8MP Ultra Wide IMX355. That’s also a Sony sensor. And then there’s a 2MP macro sensor. And then there’s a 16MP selfie sensor. And overall, I can’t talk about the camera because of embargo. I’m giving you the link of the original quality photos. You tell me, what do you think about the photos & videos? If I talk about the video graphics, you can shoot 4K 60FPS with

the primary sensor. And you can shoot 4K 30FPS with the Ultra Wide sensor. And then you get 1080p. I forgot to tell you that there’s an OIS in the primary sensor. Price. The base variant is priced under Rs 40K. It’s priced at Rs 39,999 for 8GB & 128GB. But the upper variant is priced at Rs 45-46K. There’s a difference of Rs 5K. You get 2-3 extra things in that. The most important thing is that you get 8GB RAM & 128GB RAM. Because that’s the 16GB & 256GB variant. It has UFS 4.0. So the read &

write speeds & app opening times are going to be better. So if you want to buy it for Rs 45-46K, definitely look at the 16GB & 256GB variant. What do I think about the OnePlus 11R? There’s an embargo, I can’t tell you. Wait for that. That’s all I can say about the OnePlus 11R. If you enjoyed the video, then do hit LIKE & SHARE it with your friends. That’s all for this video, until the next one, Keep Trakin & Stay Safe! Thanks for watching!
