Friends, only 10 days of 2024 are over & I’m telling you, 2024 is looking really good for smartphones! I mean there are already such phones & there are going to be such phones that are going to rock in 2024. And I have one such phone with me today, the POCO X6 Pro! It’s right up there in the value for money quotient! You’ll know why I’m saying this after watching this video. But I’m already saying, it’s an impressive performance! POCO X6 Pro! Let’s start, we’ll tell you everything & you’ll get to know everything by the end

of this video. Yellow black box, yellow led ring. If you enjoy our unboxing, then do hit LIKE & SUBSCRIBE! I don’t know, many people come & watch our videos but don’t subscribe! There are many interesting videos coming up, so don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE! First, there’s a sim card tool. Then you have, oh interesting, it’s not a clear case. It’s a grey colour case & the camera cutout is quite big. POCO, we associate that with POCO. Then there’s documentation & the phone, very nice! Let’s see what’s in the phone. It’s a 67W USB Type A to

Type C charger, not bad. And obviously, there’s a USB Type A to Type C charging cable. That’s about it in the phone,

let’s keep this aside. Now let’s look at the phone. Alright! Oho, look at this colour! It’s a light grey colour. Generally, there are new 4 wheelers in this phone & I think grey is a very good colour. This looks sophisticated, black & grey. It looks like a glass back, it’s shiny & glossy. But this is polycarbonate, it’s not glass. The in-hand feel is excellent, it’s not too big & it’ll fit in the average

hand. And there’s a big square or rectangular camera module on top. That’s all, the POCO branding is here. It has a 5000mAh battery, but the weight is 187.9g. Let me get this right, I’ve always been around 5-6g in the last 7-8 unboxings. It’s 187g, let’s see. Yes! It’s 187.9g! Let me tell you, I never check the weight of any phone beforehand. That’s why it’s not right in the last 15-20 unboxings. But yes, it’s 187.9g, I was going to say 186g. It feels so good to see 187g. If I talk about the ports & buttons, there’s

a sim card tray at the bottom, there’s a USB Type C port, there’s a microphone, there’s a speaker grill, there’s a power on & off button on the right. Oh, there’s a ring display, it’s not side mounted. There’s a volume rocker, there’s an IR blaster, there’s a noise cancelling microphone, there’s a speaker grill & there’s nothing on the left hand side. If I talk about the sim card tray, there’s a dual nano sim card slot. You don’t have an SD card slot, our sim card is already inserted in it, because we were testing this phone.

You can see it from the outside, have you dropped it? Does it have Gorilla Glass protection? Even if it doesn’t, you have to drop it. 1, 2 & boom! 3! Ok, 1 more. 1, 2 & boom! No, there’s nothing. Absolutely no problems. There’s an OIS camera, I can listen to that. We’ll talk about that later, let’s wait for it. There’s a scratch guard as well, it’s a satisfaction moment till it starts. Yes! Bye! Display The display is crazy! It’s 6.67” with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz fast refresh rate, it has 1.3mm bezels, just look at those bezels!

It’s a 12bit display, it has Dolby Vision support, HDR10+, it has a 94% screen-to-body ratio, what more do you want? It also has 1800 nits brightness. When it comes to flagship phones, it’s above Rs 50-60K, I wouldn’t have reacted so much. But this phone is going to be under Rs 30K. It’s going to be under Rs 30K. The Poco X6 is around Rs 25K & this is around Rs 30K. So that’s going to be the pricing. There are 2 variants, 8GB or 256GB. And the variant we have is 12-512GB. We’ll talk about that later, but

before that, the display is amazing! I really love the display! It’s probably one of the best displays on a smartphone under Rs 30K. Let’s talk about the specifications. It comes with MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra. It’s AnTuTu score is above 1.4M. Just for benchmark sake, the previous X5 Pro had a score of 778, which was around 6-7L. Look at the jump, it’s more than doubled in performance. So that’s a big thumbs up! The base variant is 8GB RAM & 256GB storage. And the upper variant is 12-512GB which we have. And wait for it, it has the

latest LPDDR5X RAM & UFS 4.0 storage. You get all this under Rs 30K, that’s crazy! And yes, it has a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. You can play games on the highest performance settings. We played BGMI on HD Ultra & we continuously got a 90FPS frame rate. We played Genshin Impact for 30 minutes & we got 56-57FPS continuously. We also ran the CPU throttling test for 30 minutes & we got a score of about 82%. Which is acceptable & respectable. And interestingly, it’s thermals are also in check. It’s so fast that I thought it’d

be overclocked & hot. But no, it’s thermals are also in check. Especially as it has a 5000mm² vapour cooling chamber, so the temperatures are in check. While gaming, it has a feature called Wild Boost 2.0 which interpolates the frame rate like MEMC. So you get smoother gameplay. And it has an X-Axis linear motor which gives amazing haptic feedback. So if you want to multitask for heavy games, you should not have any problems. At the same time, let’s talk about the OS. Yeah, HyperOS is here! This has HyperOS which is based on Android 14. Plus 3

years of major updates & 4 years of security updates. So you’ll get Android 14, 15, 16 & 17. Plus it doesn’t have MIUI, it has HyperOS which we’ve been talking about for a long time. So HyperOS is there. But there are many pre-installed apps which you can uninstall. But there are 3rd party pre-installed apps for sure. Alright, sensors, everything is there. In fact, there’s an in-display fingerprint sensor. For the 1st time in the Poco X series, you get an in-display fingerprint sensor. It was side-mounted till now. So there’s an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock &

it works extremely well. Should I tell you something interesting? The in-display fingerprint sensor is a heart rate sensor too. I’d say the accuracy is quite decent. Let’s talk about the multimedia. It has a 12-bit display with 68M colours & Dolby Vision support. When you watch videos in a dynamic range, you’ll enjoy it. You’ll see blacks because of AMOLED. The colours look very punchy. The video viewing experience is excellent as it has a 94% screen-to-body ratio. So it’s a very immersive video viewing experience. It has Dolby Atmos tuned stereo speakers. So it has Dolby Atmos, Dolby

Vision & Netflix support. Netflix means you can binge watch web series & movies. You’re going to absolutely love this phone. Connectivity is supported with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, IR Blaster & NFC. It has support for all 14 5G bands. So everything is there. Additionally, it has a 5GHz antenna in Wild Boost 2.0. Because of which the connectivity is even more stable. So connectivity options are also all there. The phone is so good, the display is good, the performance is good, it looks good & everything is good. How’s the camera? It has a triple camera setup

at the back. When compared to the X5 Pro, it had a 108MP camera but it didn’t have OIS. Now it has a 64MP primary sensor which is supported with OIS. It has an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor & a 16MP selfie sensor. You can shoot 4K 30FPS videos. OIS & EIS are supported in both photos & videos. If I talk about the colours, sharpness, clarity & dynamic range, then I’d say there’s definitely an upgrade compared to the POCO X5 Pro & POCO F5. If you want to see how the photos & videos come

out in different low light conditions, then I’m giving you the G-Drive link, go & check it out. This is a first impressions video, I can’t talk much. But go & check it out, there are a lot of photos. You decide for yourself. Do let me know in the comments, how did you find the photos of the POCO X5 Pro? Camera Features There are 2-3 things. I told you about the 4K, it has 4K 30FPS at the back. But the selfie camera can shoot Full HD 60FPS. Here it’s 30FPS, so you can shoot 60FPS. And when

you’re shooting videos, you can shoot HDR videos too. So that’s it. Features It comes with a lot of features, like Pro Mode, Document Scanning Mode, Portrait Mode, 19-20FPS, Super Slow Motion Mode, Time Lapse, AI Watermark, Panorama, etc. And you can take 64MP photos natively, so you get 2x lossless zoom. If you want to zoom, you get lossless zoom. Features There’s IP54 certification, SAR values are within limits, there’s no FM Radio, there’s no notification light, there’s Widevine L1 support, there’s Camera2API. Colours It’s black & yellow, POCO Yellow is the standout colour. If you want it to

be flashy, look at it. But if you want a rich & classy premium, definitely look at the grey colour. I told you about the POCO X6 Pro at the start of this video. It’s priced at Rs 28-29K. I think it’s going to be around 1.4-1.5M for the 8GB or 256GB variant. If it comes under Rs 30K, then think about it, you’re getting a score of 1.4-1.5M. Meaning the performance is amazing! The display is so thin, it’s an immersive 12bit display with 120Hz refresh rate. It’s not FHD, it’s 1.5K, so the display & performance are amazing.

It looks excellent & even the cameras are very respectable. So overall, I’d say POCO’s value for money quotient has gone to the next level. For POCO X6 Pro, for sure! If your budget is around Rs 25-30K, then definitely this should be in the top 3 of your choices. One thing is for sure, the display performance sets a benchmark to follow other brands under Rs 30K. That’s all for this video, until the next one, Keep Trakin & Stay Safe! Thanks for watching!
