impressions & tell you everything about this phone! Let’s open & check it out! Friends, it looks amazing! As you can see, it looks good on the boxes! I really like the orange colour & the vegan back. But the standout point of this phone is the drop resistant display! It means that if you drop the display anywhere, it has a certification that it’s drop resistant! It’s going to drop a lot & it’s going to show everything! We’re also going to give away the details but the box is open! Let’s look at the phone! Beautiful! Alright, what’s
inside? First, there’s a sim card tool. Then, as usual, there’s documentation. Then you have a case, it’s a decent quality case. Then you have a
a curved display. That looks beautiful! Let me tell you about the price. It’s priced at Rs 25,999. And with offers of Rs 3000, it’s priced at Rs 20,999. It’s an effective price with offers. But this phone looks good. It has a vegan leather back, a golden module ring & a matrix design. Look at that! So this phone is designed with premium watches. It feels really nice in the hand. It has a scratch guard. Let’s have a satisfaction moment! Oh yes! It’s light! The camera body is big but it doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall.
It’s really light! I feel it’s around 180g. Let’s see this. I really feel it’s around 180g. It’s 182g. It’s 187.5g. It’s not very heavy. It feels very light in the hand. Let’s do a drop test. But we’ll do it later as it’s going to be an intensive drop test. We’re going to see if it’s a drop resistant display or not. Let’s quickly look at the ports & buttons. There’s a sim card tray, a microphone, a USB Type C port, a speaker grill. There’s nothing on the left hand side. There’s a noise cancelling microphone on the
top & a volume rocker on the right. And then you have a power on off button which is not an FPS. So there’s an in-display fingerprint sensor. The frame is a plastic frame. The display is amazing! It’s a 6.78” 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display with 1200 nits brightness. And as I said earlier, it’s an SGH certified display. It has a 5 star rating so you can drop it from 10 places & it won’t be affected. If you look at the bezels, the bezels on the sides are non-existent as it’s a curved display. The bezels on the
top are very thin. The chin is also thin with a 90% screen to body ratio. It’s an immersive, bright & colourful display. If you look at the Honor 90’s display, the Honor devices are really good. Let’s talk about the specifications. It’s the 1st phone in India to launch on the 6th Gen 1 processor. The benchmark score is 5.5-5.5 Lakhs which is slightly below the Qualcomm SD778. It has a 5800mAh battery & it’s 187g. I thought it’d be heavy but it’s not that heavy. So it has a 5800mAh battery & supports 35W charging. It doesn’t have
an adapter but it supports 35W charging. It has a DxOMark certification for the battery. In fact, Honor says that if you charge it from 0-100% & do the normal usage, then the battery will last for 3 days. But according to me, the battery will last for 2 days. That is excellent! And the reason is that it’s a new 4nm power efficient processor. So it’s great for the battery. If I talk about performance & gaming, then you can play on medium settings. If you play BGMI, you can play 60FPS HDR gaming. It has LPDDR4X but it
has UFS 3.1 storage. So it has good read & write speeds. I know you’re waiting for the giveaway. I have to tell you a few things & do a drop test. Those are the highlights, so wait for that. Before that, let’s talk about the sensors. It has face unlock, in-display fingerprint sensor, all sensors are there. It has 5G connectivity, which is supported by all the Indian bands. It has Bluetooth 5.1 & NFC support. So it has connectivity options & everything is there. It doesn’t have IR blaster but everything is there. OS & Android 13 is
out of the box. Android 13 is out of the box. Especially mid range phones should have Android 14 out of the box. Yes, they’ve said that they’ll give 2-3 year security updates. But it’s Android 13. Why didn’t they give Android 14? It has Magic OS 7.2 & some AI features. For example, the most used apps will be updated automatically. So you don’t have to open & search. You’ll get the most used apps on your home screen. And I think Honor is trying to make an ecosystem. Honor Health, so your steps, activity counter, etc. Honor AI,
basically their IOT devices. Buds & watch will be launched along with this. So Honor AI is for the ecosystem. It’s an ecosystem for IOT devices which can be easily paired & used. It has magic text, an AI feature where you can choose the text & extract it. You can also add a face mask to make it open. So all these features are definitely there. And there are some pre-installed apps which you can uninstall. But yes, 3rd party apps are there. It’s absolutely great for a multimedia device. Because it has a good display. There are some
negatives about it. You won’t be able to watch HDR on Netflix & YouTube. But the normal video viewing, that is immersive colors & bottom firing speakers. It’s loud & the quality is good. But HDR should’ve been there. We were expecting stereo speakers in mid-range phones. Why mid-range? There are phones under Rs 15K which have stereo speakers. This has bottom firing speakers. I’d say it’s a decent phone for multimedia. Camera setup is a bit weird. It has a 108MP primary sensor. Then there’s a 5MP ultra wide camera. And then there’s a macro sensor. So there should’ve
been at least 8MP or 13MP ultra wide camera. But it’s 5MP ultra wide. That’s the rear camera setup. You get a 16MP selfie sensor at the front. There are many photos taken in different conditions. I always do it in the unboxing. I’ve stored it on the G-Drive link in the original quality. There’s a link in the description. Do check it out. The primary sensor of the 108MP camera takes good photos. The colors are good. The dynamic range is good. There’s even a 16MP selfie sensor. I wasn’t expecting much. But it takes good photos. The frame
rate is good. So I’ll definitely give the primary sensor at the front & back. But the 5MP ultra wide sensor takes soft photos. If I talk about the video graphics, you can shoot 4K 30FPS at the rear. You can shoot FHD 30FPS at the front. If I talk about the features, there’s Pro mode, Night mode, Portrait mode, Photo mode. There’s also a multi video mode at the front & back. You can use the same camera at the front & back. So all that is there. There’s slow motion, timelapse, etc. You can also do post editing
in video editing. The features are feature rich. If you do a lot of vlogging, there’s AI vlog mode too. Sometimes people unnecessarily add AI to their videos. But it’s a vlog mode.
